hear hear for Russ Warner, CA-26. Yes, I live in the district. As SOON as I saw this “contest” I donated/voted. Got my beau (who lives in the district next door) to $vote, too.

This is the first time there’s been anything remotely like a competitive race against Dreier. When I canvassed for Warner, I met a couple of people who said, “He’s running against Dreier? Good” … which is a good sign that we can turn this district over, if we get the word out about Dreier and Warner. Russ Warner wants to concentrate on informing the district about Dreier’s voting record.

Dreier’s self-representation to the district is as a moderate, bi-partisan…. Which is a buncha hooey; he’s a Bush rubber stamp. When he ran the House Rules committee, he was the enforcer to allow the house to be so cussedly obstructionist to bipartisanship. Wanna amend the bill to do away with habeus corpus? Nope. Not allowed. Time for debate on the bill? Oh, an hour. Run along and vote, now, kiddies.

P.S. Where did I watch the Obama speech last week? At a party/fundraiser for Russ Warner. Yes!

Russ Warner needs your help! We have to get rid of Dreier, 28 years is more than enough.

CA-26 CD is the weirdest district - take some mountains and draw a line about 100 miles long and 2 miles wide along the foothills. That’s our district. It encompasses so many more red zones than blue, and yet Russ still has a chance.

Please - help put him on top.

Not around these parts! We’ve got some great folks on the tech crew, but they’ve really had a lot to deal with over the last couple of days. I think the coverage of the protests has drawn a lot of links and traffic, that really slams the servers every now and then.
