Repubs can repeat all the talking points they want to in support because she is on “their team,” and they are programmed like trick dogs to do so……… but few people outside of Alaska at all have even heard of her before this. Repubs haven’t even heard of her let alone the sane rest of us.

There is a tidal wave of opinion forming that this woman is just too inexperienced and too unknown to the rest of the country to be allow to occupy a spot just one cardiac arrest or stroke in a 72 year old man away from being the most powerful person on earth. This question highlights McCain’s age and judgement in a way that is not useful to him.

I just don’t trust somebody I don’t know. And even if she gives a great speech tonight I don’t think two months is long enough for voters to establish enough rapport with her in light of the fact that she looks like she will be fighting legal problems and controversies from here through election night.

If she stays, she sinks the ticket. Oh, please stay.

A couple of observations. First, that the GOP is playing off Bristol’s pregnancy like it’ no big deal seems like they’re ignoring the proverbial elephant in the room. As so-called Christians, the fact that Palin’s 17 year old daughter is PG should raise lots of questions about Ms. Palin’s integrity & ability to lead. The Bible says (not quoting) that if you can’t keep your own house in order, you shouldn’t be seeking a leadership position. So Bristol is 17. :so how old was she when she firt began having sex?? you just gotta ask. And this bothers no-one?
