Campbell Brown is married to Dan Senor. He was a Bush Campaign political PR guy in the 2000 election, then got a White House job, then went to work with Paul Bremer in Iraq to sell America’s demands to the Iraqi Government which failed beyond belief. Now, I believe he is a GOP hack again.

This is another silly joke, gang. For instance:

In 1990, Walter Joseph Hickel, a former Republican, won the election for Governor of Alaska as a member of the Alaskan Independence Party, along with Jack Coghill as Lieutenant Governor of Alaska. However, Hickel never agreed with the party’s call for a vote on secession, leading to demands from party diehards that he be recalled. He rejoined the Republican Party in 1994, with eight months remaining in his term.

It is sort of regarded as an appendage of the GOP. They’re like a right-libertarian version of the Greens up here.
