Watch as the two “off shore drilling” candidates twist in the wind when the aerial footage of oil slicks in the gulf start to roll in after Gustav passes through.
ALSO:
Have you seen this HD video of Governor Palin in heels, drinking coffee, purportedly 7 months preggers?
http://alaskapodshow.com/index…..au-alaska/
Can you say “immaculate delivery?”
o/t -
Per cnn, computer glitch slowed registration for free bus rides out of NO to a crawl and was discontinued. Anyone who doesn’t leave will be “totally on their own”. Jefferson Parish saying anyone who stays and leaves their house will be treated as a “suspicious person”. We’ve seen this movie before. :-(
I left you a note downstairs. The coffee was just for show. Please link to the update on the site that you provide.
The question is being asked this morning on Washington Journal/C-SPAN what the republicans should do about their Convention because of Hurricane Gustav?
MY ANSWER: Since the republicans are always touting that they are the only ones who can protect our country and it’s people, then I think they should all go down to the beaches of Louisiana and stop the Hurricane themselves! And if they end up floating in the ocean, oh well.
My latest post:
http://whitenoiseinsanity.word…..-pregnant/
Did Gov. Sarah Palin fake her last pregnancy to cover up her 16 year old daughter being pregnant? Could be. How the hell could Sarah have been that far along in her pregnancy and not know it, then announce she is pregnant with only a short time to go before the birth, and then when her “water breaks” down in Texas…instead of going to a hospital in Texas to give birth, she decides to fly back to Alaska and no one on the flight said she acted as if she was in labor!
Sorry, but this reeks as bad as Alaskan fish. Starting her run as the VP on a big ole whopping lie & cover up is hideous, but then again, Sen. Susan Collins of Maine started her tenure right off the bat in 1996 doing the same thing.
These two women need to come forward and put these “rumors” to rest. We need some honesty from them just like we demanded it of Sen. John Edwards and his rumor!
McCain may speak from the Gulf Coast? Maybe his good friend Joe Lieberman could give his convention speech from the FEMA headquarters.
And have you noticed that all pictures of Palin during her “pregnancy” has been removed from the Governor’s/Alaskan website? Hmmmmm….why do that if she was REALLY pregnant?
Are we sure Palin isn’t Dick Cheney in drag because a lot of this seems awfully familiar in pattern? Spit.
this article came in the cnn mailer for update news
this story a different one, says rental hall raided, different place than the houses raided…
http://edition.cnn.com/2008/PO…..index.html
looking for the video from last night…that sheriff was a caricature of himself, kept picturing dan ackroyd in a skit doing him.
if i find it, i’ll post, if not, see ya all later, parents in town, bringing breakfast and back to work on the house, it’s lookin’ great!!!
bbl
No photos available here of Palin:
http://gov.state.ak.us/photos.php
mu 8–there is a video link for the raid in the article, but is a different one than i saw last night.
a most eXcellent idea, Peterr
do you think he reads FDL?
all call ins from us must be directed at the warantless raids against homeowners
I do not think we should even bring up what organization might have been raided, plain and simple, raids by people pretending they were carrying out the law when in fact they were breaking the law and tresspassing
A mouth piece on cnn just mentioned the thugs might send volunteers to Mississippi (no other Gulf states mentioned). Does that mean it’s the only state worthy of their attention?
email questions perris, several times eCAHN’s gotten her question asked. If WJ gets a slew of emails about the raids, they’ll ask about it.
to the emails!
journal@c-span.org
Oh I’m sure they’re bearing down on Trent Lott’s home to make sure his porch is safe!
I bet the “volunteers” will be soldiers from Iraq and Johnny McTeleprompter will scream through his megaphone on top of a waterlogged home, “I am demanding US soldiers to come home now! We have heard you Hurricane Gustav and we will prevail!”.
It will be his next commercial of how Johnny was the one to bring troops home early. Spit.
Haley Barbour’s state. Desperately competitive race for a Senate seat?
Let the NOLA crowd twist, that’s a Landrieu campaign.
That rethug should be smacked down hard.
And WTF is McCain doing going down there when the emergency and law enforcement folks at the height of their need to focus on saving lives and keeping people out of harm’s way instead of doing CYA on his pasty white ass.
Trying to turn a disaster into a political opportunity. McSame Ol’ Same Ol’ from the Rethugs.
my 16 replies to Waccamaw’s 13
This just shows that McSame will do and say anything to get elected. To politicize the devastation of a city or the suffering of the people who live there is despicable .
John, have you no shame?
ouch!
I think John McCain should report live from a beach on the coast of Louisiana as the hurricane approaches. He’s tough. He’s a POW. He can handle it.
Gotta have a beer with Johnny McTeleprompter now! That porch had better be safe, dammit.
More reckless endangerment from The Gambler.
I really think we need to focus on more important stuff. I was interested in this the day she was picked, but going forward, there is more important stuff. On the other hand, the blogospehere has been a source of alot of scurrilous rumors abort BO, so maybe we’d just be doing ouir job to keep pushing the “baby story.”
couldn’t find the footage from last night, but did find an article from august 3rd with a partial list of potential demonstrators, will be interesting to see how many of them are served with warrants.
http://edition.cnn.com/2008/PO…..index.html
have a great day pups!!!
Only if his blood pressure drops too low and he needs to boost it.
But perhaps his old pal DangerStein can pass the idea along.
Shhhh. I’m writing this comment lying on the floor in the dark with blinds tightly closed. Yes, I live in Minnesota, land of 10,000 door-shattering Gestapo. Shhhhh.
KayinMaine, I agree with your assessment that the Pugs should move their convention to NOLA. What with his personal relationship with the almighty, I imagine GWB could part the waters, rendering New Orleans safe. Besides, it would be a great photo op. Oh, wait. Where is GWB? Haven’t seen much of him lately. Is he still president?
Kaye:
Why does it matter?
1. Sarah Palin is pro- life. Great to see she sticks to her guns. Too bad she had to lie about her own daughter being pregnant because of the fact that:
2. Sarah Palin is an avid proponent to abstinence only education.
3. Maybe this needs repeating. Sarah Palin is an avid proponent to abstinence only education.
4. One more time! Sarah Palin is an avid proponent to abstinence only education.

Oh, wait . . . he never was!
(((barbara & david)))
where’s the Orkin Man?
i found it strange/twilight zone strange that she went back to work 3 days after having a downs baby…
initial bonding is vital, especially with a downs child, let alone the things a mother’s body is doing 3 days after birth….dunno.
is difficult to even make a meal and do anything but move around that soon. something not right there.
and people keep mentioning her appearance, but they’re leaving out that the daughter was gone from school for ‘mono’ for months during that time.
i heard 4 months….straight.
dunno.
i’m not one to jump on rumors, but a lot about this strikes me as strange, so, when this stuff started being said i hafta say i wondered why my antennae were twitching about it and made me wonder more.
bbl.
Hey McCain, why not go for a twofer…a perfecta!
You should arrange to do a live remote telecast from an oil platform in the Gulf tomorrow to demonstrate how offshore drilling is safe for the environment AND how global warming has not caused any increase in severe weather.
Go get ‘em, “Maverick!”
Just watch the video and believe your own eyes.
Thanks! And laughin’ about Orkin Man.
Friend told me recently that Cabela’s now carries a self-defense rifle. Smaller and more compact than a hunting rifle, I’m told. Thought you’d want to know.
Good Morning Elliot.
Instead of the twin cities, it would be the the twin disasters.
Ah, jeez, the Gestapo is probably on that comment like flies on garbage. Hello? It was social commentary. See, we’ve gotten so totally FUBAR’d during the Bush administration that people are behaving Charlton Hestonishly re cold dead hands. Oh, never mind. I’m already toast.
Perhaps the baby story speaks of her credibility (or lack thereof), but I think the more serious issues of torture, war, recession, war protestors being chocked, etc., are waaay more important.
I think it’s a mistake to go so heavily after the VP choice–remember Bush Sr. remarking about Dan Quayle–”I’m the first candidate in history where the opposition has run a campaign against the VP choice.” (Speaking about the “heartbeat away” attack on Quayle’s lack of intellect.)
Better to go after McCain himself than attack Palin.
one last thing–
the day of the announcement, when they introduced her family, i thought to myself, hmmmmmmm, those hippie names for her children aren’t going to go over very well with the base……just a thought.
ok, see ya all on the flip side.
Volunteers = blackwater
Hey good morning you guys,
I’m still stuffed, altho regretting not bringing home a slice of that Mansion Accomplished cake, no wonder you love that bakery!
What a delightful day at Chez RevDeb’s
Reply not working: Plunger @ 27
The story is interesting — maybe even intriguing, but it doesn’t further the Democratic campaign. Obama has made it clear that he intends to focus on the IMPORTANT issues of the day and this is clearly not one of them
What if it’s her baby? No story. And there’s obviously no way to find out. Medical records aren’t available, no one is talking, there’s no clear cut proof in videos. Women are speculating that they wouldn’t look like that, they would look like that, it’s possible, it’s impossible. Pitting women against women is probably not a sane approach.
What if it’s not her baby? It doesn’t change the minds of the people who want to vote for her and it doesn’t change the minds of the people who don’t. The republicans are finding a million excuses for her behavior and they all add up to how admirable she is.
What it goes to is McCain’s judgement — but those of us who aren’t going to vote for him already know that his judgement is impaired.
Will Indies think less of her? Doesn’t seem that way to me. Many are saying it’s a 1) personal matter; 2) when she lied she didn’t know she’d be VP; 3) they’ve vetted her (I know that’s not true); 4) So what?
Poor judgement on her part to travel in the face of so many things that could go wrong. That’s a reason for a DEMOCRAT not to travel. It doesn’t work in the reverse. The last seven years alone shows there’s no traction for that tack in the republican community.
The story is a loser. Continuing to insert it in every post on this board is really counter-productive. I’d like to suggest that you write a piece on it, include everything you know, and let’s have it. But to push it on every piece coming out of FDL is leaving a bad taste, really.
{{{Total OT: David’s gardens are full up with orioles this morning. Absolutely gorgeous. Also disturbing. Never, ever have we had orioles here in such great numbers for so long a time so late in the season.}}}
it wouldn’t play, and i couldn’t find the other one.
but, more telling in that link you gave here is the ‘baby boobs’ in the baby bump picture and puffy face of the daughter. and her expression. that tells more than anything.
‘not in our family’
denial, rules and regulations. impressions. image.
take care.
Why is the Gov. Sarah Palin “rumor” about her pregnancy important? BECAUSE SHE LIED & DECEIVED HER PUBLIC.
Had she come forward to the people of Alaska right off the bat and said, “My young daughter is pregnant and because we are pro-lifers we are going to make sure her pregnancy is a healthy one”, but she didn’t do that! She decided to lie & deceive Americans/Alaskans.
Why is everyone okay with this? If Joe Biden’s 16 year old daughter was pregnant and Jill Biden announced, “Tah dah! I’m going to have a baby and Joe and I are thrilled!”, but we later found out they were covering up the fact that their very young daughter was the one who was pregnant while saying they teach abstinence……..don’t you think the republicans would run with it to show THE CHARACTER of the Bidens? You betcha!
It is important. Palin is showing that she can’t be trusted and will abuse her powers to protect herself, the president, and her family.
wow! What kind of orioles do you have out there?
Elliott @ 44 (reply not working)
Northern orioles, which I still call Baltimore orioles, no matter who changes the name.
it’s also important to demostrate, teaching celebacy cannot possibly work, teaching about life DOES work
simple stuff here, when a child reaches adolsence, if they are not taught what is going on they will get into situations they are not prepared
What about this:
Insurance fraud.
I’m guessing that the Gov. is covered for baby health care in a way that the daughter might not be. If the baby has not been legally adopted by the Gov./Mr. Gov., then the baby isn’t covered health-wise as a dependent, right?
Also, if better health care isher reason for adopting the baby, then welcome to my world where my young adult children have no health insurance.
for some reason I thought they were east coasters.
yeah, the name change was silly.
(you have to wait for the page to finish refreshing for reply button to work)
Yes indeed it was fun. It was great to see you and those potato chips were great.
what authority does blackwater have?
do they need to be obeyed as if they are law enforcement?
Propensity to lie.
THAT is the issue.
We are trying to replace a regime proven to have a propensity to lie with something better.
The American people are tired of being lied to by the people whom they elect to represent them.
It’s not about the baby, or the mother.
IT’S ABOUT THE PROPENSITY TO LIE.
thanks for that link. sent it to everyone i know. She sounds like someone from the Fargo film.
i simply can’t bear any more MSM. I have reached my limit, even with cspan, which i love.
so i’m just gonna check in here from time to time and depend on ya’ll to keep me posted. If i keep readin the times and watchin tv i’m gonna take a rock and kill myself. I have ‘friends’ who keep asking me the same dumb, wilfully ignorant questions, and i’m stopped answerin them. Do yer own freakin homeowrk, i tell em now.
Kitty needs some time in the quiet corner.
Is there a Transylvanian proverb that says you can only kill a massive hurricane by driving an ancient Arizona Senator into its heart. Or maybe he confused some Polynesian myth about sacrificing a virgin to a volcano. Otherwise, I can’t figure WTF anybody could think he’s going to do down there.
ahh, yes nothing like lard cooked Pennsylvania potato chips. I really should have brought along some Hippie’s ring baloney and cheese for the total package lol!
propensity?
they feel as if it’s mandatory, like eating and breathing air
Whoa! I see that Face the Nation forgot to include a Dem in their lineup. Bet they’re all shame-faced about that. And David Brooks? The man who called Obama’s speech technically okay, but generally disappointing? Friends, it is time to deploy our puke shields.
in fairness, tho, last week it was all Dems.
Well, there are no virgins at the Republican convention, so McCain in the heart is the only possible photo op. Grampa and Barbie both gonna be there?
Good questions but not ones the people who stay and then venture out of their houses may get a chance to ask.
i should mention there are a few bright spots.
Mo Dowd, of whom i often disapprove, hit the nail right on the head today in the times re Palin. Priceless really, and enjoyed it enormously. She can get away with it bein female and all.
VP in gogo boots indeed!
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/08…..wd.html?hp
Oh, there you go, being fair again. Damn! Hate when that happens! *g*
The local take on Palin:
http://mudflats.wordpress.com/…..rspective/
The Gambler picked a Buchananite Republican…a radical rightwing turn knowledge back to the twelfth Century Kansas school board style Republican.
He’s not just on the same track over the cliff as Bush, McCain’s pickin’ up speed….
here’s a point I would like to make, palin supposedly has an 80% approval rating
was this poll taken before or after she started canvassing for the oil industry on drilling?
and second, she’s got 80 percent of 8000 people, it’s a small town where everyone knows everyone else, hard to be in office and not do your best to get people to like you
And can I add that when I posted this about Sen. Susan Collins:
http://whitenoiseinsanity.word…..rs-oh-boy/
Within 24 hours of hitting “publish” of this post, the next day (Monday) I had two separate “Susan Collins” Google Alerts in my in-box. When I clicked on my post in the first Google Alert, I was directed to a page that read, “Connection Failed”, and then when I clicked on the 2nd Google Alert that contained my post again, I clicked on it and I was redirected to a page where there was my post title in the middle of it and a NAKED WOMAN AT THE TOP LEFT SIDE OF THE PAGE. When I clicked on my post link, it went nowhere and the NAKED LADY AT THE TOP CHANGED TO A DIFFERENT NAKED LADY!
Within 24 hours of the Google Alerts being redirected, I got a vicious CYBERATTACK on my computer. My spy sweeper was able to contain & quarantine all the viruses and 3-4 TROJANS, but there was one Trojan that I could not get off my computer. By Thursday my computer was completely inoperable. Friday I took it to the experts to have them remove this Trojan that only can be removed by $800 software (luckily I didn’t have to pay for this!).
So, you see, these “rumors” of Sen. Susan Collins & Gov. Sarah Palin are hitting a nerve, because really, if they were just rumors….why would the Collins Mafia of Maine attack my computer and redirect the Google Alert links to my post if they thought KayInMaine was just being silly….and why would the Alaskan website scrub ALL PICTURES OF SARAH PALIN from their website if she was REALLY PREGNANT?
It’s all about abuse of power by these two women. There’s a media blackout of these two women too, so even when they use their own powers to go after citizens of this country for speaking truth to power, they also have the media on their side to protect them as well.
And we want 4 more years of this kind of bullshit? I don’t!
It seems like all TV weathermen have to pass the lean-into-the-wind-and-rain-and-broadcast-with-flapping-cheeks test, but I’m truly going to be impressed if Methuzelah and Betty Boop can do it. For me, that will spell C-H-A-N-G-E.
Got her fangs newly sharpened this week apparently…..test, test, test on palin.

morning cbl, lmao
Spew alert! ROFLMAO
Jeez, Kay ! What a bummer! My daughter tells me she on the listen of dems being watched in maine by the repubs, and she’s just a regional director. She is a feisty one, though. Prolly god they’re keepin an eye on her *teehee*
Collins is a ruthless liar. I fear she will outsmart Allen. He’s just not quick on the draw. Neither is she, but she has folks who load the weapon for her and tell her where and when to shoot. Then she disavows ownership.
Tell you the truth, most of the folks I know in Maine, especially those who aspire to upper middle class status, don’t have a political clue. And the working class? fagettaboutit.
WOW! What a story! I recently got my computer invaded by a trojan that my really good software didn’t find, and at it was a huge pain in the butt!
But really MINOR compared to your “adventure”. Crickey!
I’ve read some complaints about Tom Allen not hitting back about the “labor issue”, but haven’t followed the story enough to really get it.
What’s up with that?
aha, I have the next obama add in my mind as I write;
“Bush hired a horse official to run an agency responsible for the lives of entire cities
bush hired rumsfeld, called the most inept secretary of defense and responsible for our troops being sent with far too few men and far too little equiptment, responsibe for the infrastructure of Iraq going unprotected and possibly being the biggest reason there is an insurgency against our forces
bush tried to hire harrit meyers for supreme court, a lawyer with no constitutional training and even republicans referred to her as one of the most un-qualified submissions in the history of this country
bush hired as attorney general, gonzales, clearly the most inept attorney general who ever held office, a man responsible for firing the most adept lawyers on staff and hiring in their place lawyers just graduating the least respected law school in the land
now john mccain actually wants to hire a women for vice president who doesn’t even know what a vice president does
do you see a pattern here?”
there are other hirings to mentin that I can’t think of, maybe some of you can add to my ad
agreed, creepy about Kay’s experience
Mr.Palin? What about his kind in the White House? He has a history of throwing his weight around in the Governor’s mansion. As “Head of the Wife” wives obey your husbands conservative christion dogma.
May be a loose cannon rolling around the deck of the ship of state.
Sunshine, you get an A+ in snark….and the semester’s only just begun. *g*
I though it might be a reply to that Colorado Springs fundie preacher praying for a deluge on on Obama’s acceptance speech.
really creepy! like, totally!
palin actually called her husband First Dude on that link a #1
eeewwww
Who the hell calls snowmobiles…”snow machines”? I’m thinking people like John McCain who call their computer an “Internet machine” do. ;-)
LisaG just posted this on Lindsay’s Inside an RNC Raid
Humans and tigers.
St Paul’s police chief up now on CSPAN
And now I’m wondering how the fuck I got invaded by a trojan. Scratching my head. Maybe it was because I put up a post about Maine Coon kittehs at my kitteh blog spot.
Now that would be really creepy!
there is a biblical story I just heard on the radio this morning, (air america is now reduced to airing infomercials and this was some gospel show)
something about three people who were told they needed to renounce christ and they would not
they were thrown into the furnace, so hot it killed the people throwing them in, yet they survived, christ standing with them in the furnace
if anyone knows the referance, please to post
the irony of course being, those who would do harm to the harmless would have that harm visited on themselves
and ironically, we are reminded of the christian theologians who actually called for storms of biblical proportion to ruin obama’s acceptence.
I think it might be a good idea to make this referance to that theologian himself and watch the sparks fly, the wingnuts heads will explode
oh thank for that SD,
I sure miss those two.
Perris —-re 89 -ok, correct me if i’m wrong, but i spent years in catholic school, listened to gospels every single day, and never nevah have i heard this one. sounds like some wacko inventing gospels. not unusual.
I can’t correct you, I have no clue either
ohhh… thank you for that. I’m gonna figure out how to use it at my “feel good kitteh blog!”
Hey! The Collins Mafia of Maine has been alive and well here for years now. I mentioned Michael Heath of the Christian Civic League and Scott Fish of As Maine Goes in my original post, because these 2 men got the Collins Mafia wrath.
Michael Heath started a campaign a couple years ago to out the gays in the Maine legislature. Well, many Mainers started saying things like, “I wonder if Sen. Susan Collins is a lesbian”….and then BAMMO!….Heath who hates gays and who was so proud of his campaign, he announced shortly thereafter that his idea was a stupid one and then called off his dogs.
Collins Mafia had threatened him.
Then, Scott Fish back in 2000 was working as the PR guy for the republicans in the State House and was using his website, As Maine Goes, as their PR central. Well, the republicans on this site started lambasting Sen. Suzie-Q and Olympia Snowe for not impeaching Clinton when he was cheating on Hillary. Because Scott Fish did not delete these “vicious” comments about Suzie-Q (did some contain questions about her sexuality? Could be. We’ll never know because they’ve been deleted forever) instantly and allowed them to stay on for a period of time, HE WAS FIRED FROM HIS JOB IN THE STATE HOUSE.
Collins Mafia at it again.
And she has her cronies now calling future Senator Tom Allen a Mafia thug! Oh please. Suzie loves the Union that get those lovely military industrial complex contracts….everyone else can screw! The secret ballot has not been deleted from the process as the Collins Mafia is saying in these Employeefreedom.org ads, oh but the CM doesn’t want anyone to know this.
I will be doing a post on the Collins Mafia and Unions here soon. ;-) I fully expect another CYBERATTACK!
“If the Collins Mafia is sending viruses & Trojans to quiet you, keep going! If you can see the torches & the dogs of the Collins Mafia, keep going! If you see the torches being thrown at you, keep going!!!” ~ Kay Tubman LOL

Total whitewash and spin by the police chief from St. Paul thus far.

“No, you are President of Deluded Fruitcakes, Anonymous!”
Just like the Big Muddy!
HANDS OFF THE MOOSE, SARAH!!!!
McCain should not stop at halfway measures. He should land on an oil platform in the gulf off Louisiana and give his photo-op speech there. His unwavering commitment to drill, drill, drill would be conclusively demonstrated, as would his mavericky ways.
Jesus’ admonition was to caution those who would “do undo the least of these, you do to me”. Pisses me off when folks reconfigure biblical, especially New testament, references to their own ends.
707!
OMG! that is hilarious. I try to keep the tone “feel good” but Busted keeps pushing me to post the “bad kitteh” stuff that I find. But this one is so funny— I’m tempted…. ty!
I got such a kick out of Bustednuckles Cat Chronicles.
oh rats, I completely missed the Foxy News AllStars, I wanted to hear them on the VP pick, oh well, mebbe I can catch a replay on CSPAN radio later today.
Sorry, my computer went off without me. The Gambler. I am going to keep using that one. Maybe it will stick! Excellent. Thanks.
Police chief saying they aren’t gonna start out with the riot gear wardrobes………Waccamaw sez: they won’t need to; they’re planning to have everyone arrested beforehand so face shields and billy sticks aren’t needed. :-(
They do seem to be quite wonderful and amiable cats-

OKAY I better shut up, because I think I’ve broken the “one blogwhore a day” rule, big time!
Morning, W!
I sent the Jane and Glenn footage about the raids to my network. People were shocked. I guess a lot covertly happened in Denver, too.
Like bombing Afghanistan. BIG THINGS get by sometimes, don’t they? Understatement of the century.
And God’s timing with RNC Convention and Gustav. Have to listen to news about that.
Still no tv… but just a few of Elliot’s Talking Heads I will miss, anyway. Spinlessness can be nice for a while.
In my haste I forgot to cite my source, Rick DeVille.
Speaking of haste, look what I found. My bold,
Advisers Say Conservative Ire Pushed McCain Away From Picking Lieberman
Possible new McCain campaign slogan, My mistake live with it.
The Rethugs and reichwing so-called Christians have no problem rewriting Matthew, Mark, Luke and John (or any other part of the Bible for that matter) to suit their needs. Jesus in the lion’s den with Daniel? No problem.
These people would have shit fits if they ever read the early Christian writings in the Nag Hammadi Library.
Be assured I bookmarked your blog the first time there.
Shadrach; Meshach; Abednego
I remember that one!
Yes, Yes. They are doing “pre-emptive” strikes, like in Iraq, with any protesters. It gives me chills to hear about laptops and journals being confiscated so easily. As well as citizens being traumatized.
AMERICANS….. CAN YOU THINK A LITTLE BIT FROM THIS BACK TO FISA AND LETTING GO OF HABEAS CORPUS, OF DETAINMENT AND BLACK SITES????
Probably not. Dots connecting goes with critical thinking… and commentary here sometimes points to China’s population as not cultivating that, well, citizens here are catching up (or catching back).
Elliott- oh, I did too! I keep pushing him to do more Cat Chronicles, as light relief, but I think he just so Fucking Pissed Off about politics and the State of the Nation, that this has eclipsed any fuckery with cats. (sorry for using such bad language, but I know Busted would approve.
yeah, especially the gospels of thomas and mary magdalene.
I wonder if joe will be so scorned by this rediculous pick of mkkkain that he finds an excuse to renounce his endorsement;
“mccain has demonstrated he does not have the temperment nor judgment to be president
had john picked anyone capable besides myself my endoresment would stand, romney for instance, however this pick is bizaree and I can no longer have confidence in his presidency
~Barbara
Thank You, Barbara, for that. In the politics game, the damage to the children is ignored.
Libby, I posted this on an earlier thread. Sorry all to repeat.
But, I’ve been reading Jane’s twitter thread. Jane snark, from yesterday:
“God takes out major ad buy during RNC on Republican failures of the past 8 years: Gustav”
That police chief was asked how long protesters would be held. Iirc, he said 36-48 hours and talked about all the prosecutors the city had lined up.
Thoughts:
1. Seems like Labor Day conveniently extends the time frame.
2. Guess if you’re a protester, ya better bring your lawyer with you.
3. Preemptive arrests for protesting = scary shit (to put it mildly)
Matter o’ fact I’m going to my indy book store later and get a copy of “The Gospel of Judas.” Been holding off because of my huge vet bill, which was paid off Friday. That’s what I call relief.
Hey MM! uh, may I correct you? I seem to be gettin into using the F word a lot.
“Possible new McCain campaign slogan, My mistake live with it.”
uh, “My mistake, FU?”
I trust you can google “FU”. Sorry, maybe I should have said “FY”, but it didn’t have quite the same resonance.
Boehner is saying that Palin’s dude is a steelworker union member can anyone verify. I thought he was a fisherman and worked on the oilfeild in the off season.
Not totally true about the pictures. This one is still available, apparently showing Bristol’s bump.
Waccamaw @129
My computer terribly funky today. Just reading more of Palin from Jane. What a story.
I have been waiting for the abstract concepts of losing constitutional rights to concretize …. more and more. Here we go. But MSM is colluding and propagandist enough to keep this under wraps, too. I am glad this site is passing the word. Fighting to get our constitutional rights back is a lot harder than the comatose way they were lost by our kool-aid drinking citizenry and congress. There will be a lot more dangerous crap coming down. Privitized or not government “thug-militia” to physically intimidate and let the ripples carry to foster the fascism set in motion so firmly by Bushco. I hope our ripples begin to capsize back at them. But we need WAVES not ripples. We need a Gustav of OUTRAGE.
It is true, he worked (until she became governor) in the oil fields
But was he a steelworker union member
David Gregory is impressed that Palin risked the life of her unborn high risk baby to fly back to Alaska to have the baby
direct quote
“That’s pretty cool”
MoDo is so snarky, I can’t be sure the quote is real, but I like this:
David Gregory is a fucking moron.
yep, the steelworker’s union
707!!!!
I’ll agree with that
Please post the McCain-Bush birthday cake pic again. On the homepage. With the headline “Let them eat cake.”
PERFECT!!! Hope they do!
