I loved it last night when even Pat Buchanan admitted the Republicans were struggling to get ten thousand people to come to McCain’s VP announcement.

Take the conventions as a kind of poll and Obama should win by 8:1 which
is a pretty high percentage, even larger than one would expect with the 28-percenters who stick with Bush no matter what.

In 1980 Reagan won country-wide, but by a small margin in each state. This year it looks like Obama can possibly win by a huge margin in almost every state.

Poor St. John. He’s going to be one mean intercourser with matriarchs when he loses to Mr. Obama and reverts to being just Senator John, looking for a diversion in Metro DC, rejoining Craig in the toilet and Vitter in his diapers. Predictably, his behavior in the Senate will make “Go Cheney Yourself!” seem like a friendly greeting.

How will St. John be welcomed home after a hard day ~~at the Mayflower~~ on Capitol Hill by Miss Buffalo Queen, his so-called trollopy c**t wife? If I were St. John, I’d have my lawyers reading and re-reading that prenuptial agreement: it might be as much of an unwelcome home as he gets from the abused Miss Cindy.

According to The Fix, she also has a “special needs” infant. I’m assuming that means developmentally disabled.

This brings health care front and center as an issue this fall. The “everybody’s insured because they can go to the emergency room” line is going to come back to haunt McCain. Special needs kids don’t go to the hospital for treatment.
