I take this as an indication that Obama is a mind-changer, motivating people to do things they would not otherwise consider doing.

BTW, I thought Obama’s speech was excellent, but with one flaw from my point of view: he said almost nothing about restoring the Constitutional order of things, did he? I can’t find the word “Constitution” anywhere in his speech.

I was also disturbed by the way he ended his speech:

“We cannot walk alone,” the preacher cried. “And as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead. We cannot turn back.”

America, we cannot turn back. Not with so much work to be done. Not with so many children to educate, and so many veterans to care for. Not with an economy to fix and cities to rebuild and farms to save. Not with so many families to protect and so many lives to mend. America, we cannot turn back. We cannot walk alone. At this moment, in this election, we must pledge once more to march into the future. Let us keep that promise – that American promise – and in the words of Scripture hold firmly, without wavering, to the hope that we confess.

This sounds like it was written by Nancy Pelosi. His words above sound exactly like what Nancy Pelosi declared in 2006 after the election, as she was taking impeachment off the table. This worries me.

Never understood why Brokaw got a pass so much. He and all the other BigMedia “newspeople” over the last 20-30 years have been at the top of the Conglomerate Media field. They have been the mouthpieces of the corrupt system that has led to the Constitutional Crisis we now live in.

And there you have it tonight…Brokaw calls Obama “presumptuous” because of the SkyCam angle?!? Which Obama didn’t request or pay for?!?! Then at the end, admits that the Shrubya Admin was scared at the momentum Kerry was developing in ‘04, and lo and behold, Osama bin Laden shows up the next day. Tom doesn’t point out any irony in that. Acts like it was just pure luck for Shrub.
