So, what can anyone in Denver tell us about the arrest of ABC 20/20 producer Asa Eslocker? ABC claims he was producing a report on the high-flier donors and lobbyists’ rôle at the DNC. The local constabulary said that he was on private property filming on a sidewalk they claim was owned by the hotel hosting said lobbyists. Whatever the case, shit’s going to fly, I expect.

Also, all the children featured at the convention, including the erudite Beau Biden with his poignant story of tragedy in the Biden family reminded me of all the women and children (not no mention innocent men, young and old) who’ve died in Iraq and Afghanistan and Somalia at the hands of American Armed forces who’ve shown no remorse about anything ever in these pointless interventions abroad. No one at the convention has waxed eloquent about the tragedies that have taken place there over and over and over again on an almost daily basis. No one on “national security night” even mentioned them. It was just big smiles, thunderous speeches about Americans and how great they are and the smiling faces of little children.

Someone at DKos said that McC will leak his veep choice around midnight tonight. Absolutely no shame.

So Joe Lieberliar “honors” the Sabbath by not campaigning on Saturdays. It is kosher for him to work in the Senate on the Sabbath. This makes JoeMo a religious hypocrite, and he is not kosher either.

Lieberman was known to even skip his official Senate nomination at the Connecticut Democratic convention because it was held on a Saturday, and he adhered to the Sabbath while running with Al Gore in 2000 as well. He does vote when the Senate is in session on Saturdays, but walks to the Capitol.

The convention has been disappointing w/the exception of Hillary and Kerry’s speech. Back here in NJ not much juice about this convention and these Dems.

Convention is spicier than 04 but much too tame than needed - especially with the GOOPERS coming up in days.
