Bob Casey Jr., while not the greatest speaker in the world, had the line of the night, and possibly the year:
John McCain votes with Bush 95% of the time. That’s not a maverick – that’s a sidekick!
If there is any one meme I would love to see circulated and repeated over and over again in this presidential campaign, that would be it. It simultaneously demolishes McCain’s"maverick" reputation and ties the Dubyatross around his neck where it belongs.
Kickass, nail-cheaters-to-the-wall, progressive Blue America Democrat Alan Grayson demolished establishment DCCC tool Charlie Stuart in the FL-08 primary, 48%-27%. This can only be good for centrist Democrats!
Hillary 4 Obama!
I haven’t spent the past 35 years in the trenches, advocating for children, campaigning for universal healthcare, helping parents balance work and family, and fighting for women’s rights, here at home and around the world… to see another Republican in the White House squander our promise of a country that really fulfills the hopes of our people.
And you haven’t worked so hard over the last 18 months, or endured the last 8 years, to suffer through more failed leadership. No way, no how, no McCain.
Barack Obama is my candidate, and he must be our president.
And then she referred to her "Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pantsuits."
Also: Brian Schweitzer was great, full of energy and charisma and mischief. I had the same reaction as Christy – why the hell wasn’t he the keynote???

DirecTV sux. FCC should also be investigating the vertical monopolistic control of Murdochville on distribution streams and networks.
Eli!!!!
Hillary is doing well.
Matt!!!!
Absolutely. I was kinda hoping she’d finish before my timeslot came up, but hey, she’s rolling, and she’s better than Warner.
Because we are keeping him under wraps out here in Montana. We have already suffered enough from greedy easterners taking all our precious resources. 8-)
I think she did what she needed to do tonight.
Dude, if we could have tapped some of his mojo in 2004, we’d be out of Iraq, New Orleans would be rebuilt, and the Supreme Court wouldn’t be stacked with wingnuts.
Schweitzer did a great job! Great sense of snark!!
Eli!
i’d have like to see some “SHAME ON YOU, RETHUGS” stuff.
*sigh*
Maybe Bill will deliver the knock down drag out?
am i off course here?
(EPU’d)
wooooooooooooooooooooooooooott!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Siri!
Yeah, I would have liked to see more attacking, but tonight is Kitchen Table Night. And Healing The Party Night.
she was good.
i just wanted her to go “Hillary ballistic” and I didn’t see that.
will anyone speaking at this convention EVER do that? or are we going to be all civilized and respectful to the fascists?
sorry,
i can’t help it.
when will someone with a mic and under the spotlights fight for this country like I do????
I wanted to hear “John McCain is not fit to be POTUS. Absent that, I am disappointed.”
That was not the primary objective of her speech. Her primary objective was to make it *crystal* clear that she is 100% behind Obama, and expects all her supporters to be too.
I don’t know who Brian is. Link to the speech?
Well, he needed a little seasoning first – a minor league try out if you will. We can talk about it again in four years when he is termed out. By then he will have had plenty of experience dealing with rabid wingnuts (our state GOP is rather to the right of Dr. Mengele and absolutely batshit crazy) and will have built a solid record of accomplishment. Remember that he had never held public office before we elected him the first Democratic governor in more than 12 years. We still need him here for a bit longer to repair some of the damage inflicted by over a decade of Republican malfeasance.
Rachel Maddow live with KO …”
Hillary has always had class and she showed it tonight…GREAT JOB….
Is bill Clinton’s body getting smaller or his head getting bigger
OK Pups Digg IT is Open so support El and the Lake!!
Oh and Go Obama!!
she said ‘no how no way no mccain’ i thought that was pretty clear – since she was talking to her supporters at that point in the speech
where’s carter? has he spoken?
Governor of Montana, went right before Hillary. It’s not posted yet.
ok Eli.
Gotcha.
how bout the “Will anybody….” question.
and if so, WHEN???
or am i just being barbaric? I’m so angry at what’s been done to my country, and made to feel “homesick” for this last 8 years.
maybe it’s me, my problem, but i talk to folks in person at our local Dem headquarters and it sure doesn’t look like I’m alone in that.
?
They showed a film, and he made an appearance last night.
wasn’t his speech yesterday?
“that’s not a maverick, that’s a sidekick”
made McC sound like Gabby Hayes. loved it.
Tomorrow, I thought.
He’s there, they’ve cut to him a few times. I don’t *think* he’s a scheduled speaker, though.
Video tribute and walk-by last night. No speech.
Watching PBS… gad, Gwen Ifill looks like she hasn’t slept since hitting Denver.
I think Hillary went a long way toward making the PUMA an endangered species.
you’ll find it here when it goes up
they have Warner’s up all ready
http://dnc08.c-span.org/
thanks revbev, loo hoo and eli. i’d like to hear from him.
Dugg!!!!
Please hit that????
Any that weren’t won over tonight are lost for this election.
if there ever was such a thang – was one ever sighted by anyone other than a media spokes type?
I absolutely want to see that too. But I suspect that if we haven’t seen it the first two nights, we’re not going to see it.
The Democrats *did* take some shots, which I was glad to see, but I don’t think we’re going to see the full-throated outrage the GOP deserves. Wouldn’t be civil.
Rachel nailed it:
“If there are still die-hard Hillary supporters who don’t follow, they are now simply outside the debate”.
or something like that.
Hillary’s speech was very strong and carried an important purpose. Now, for the love, tomorrow night let Bill tear bush/mcsame a new one and turn them inside out in the way he is able for what they’ve done to our country.
LOL!
Perfectt, Peterr!!!
LOLOL!
OK folks, it’s been a great day. Dennis rocked, Brian Schweitzer was great and Hillary was so classy and it was a powerful, empowering speech. (Bill adores her…)
I’m going to nap for a couple of hours before work..See you all tomorrow….
It was up to Hillary to get her supporters attention tonight, about what would be the consequences of a split Democratic Party. She spoke proudly of her life & accomplishments & nailed McBush many times (her jab at the both of them being in the Twin Cities together was spot on & funny as hell.)And she spoke powerfully about the direction that this country must go, and who must lead us to do it. She did much better than I’d hoped she would. All props to the lady for an excellent speech.
But from this point on, the gloves need to come off! We need some Pit Bull talk against the Rethugs.
No way, no how, no McCain.
He is also an important part of turning the Mountain West from red to blue. He is the most popular political figure in the state (followed by Tester and Bauchus). One consequence of that is the Democrats stand a good chance of taking all of the statewide offices and a solid majority in both houses of the legislature. It also contributed to the fact that in the last poll I saw, Obama leads McCain here by a small margin. I do not think the state has gone for a Democratic candidate for president since Nixon.
If we do not hear the full-throated outrage, we will LOSE.
This is a war. We must treat it that way.
Carter made a walk-on last night, talked with Lehrer, BoBo and Boob but no speech. Had a nice video, though.
I thought it was mythical.
Yeah, they don’t really have a leg to stand on now. She called them out on the issues.
David Gregory – “How many Obama supporters are experiencing buyer’s remorse now?”
hey asshat – don’t you and KKarl have a date to go dancing tonight?
Shifting gears . . .
That news about Alan Grayson is great! Anyone been able to get a reaction comment from Rahm and Steny?
I think they were always rather in a league with bigfoot and unicorns.
Well, you are right. It WOULDN’T be civil.
BUt I’m sorry, it WOULD be PATRIOTIC!!!
*sigh*
I want my party to be classy, evolved, dignified and respectful,
but my GOD!
the enemy in this case!
you KNOW that’s why dems are seen as “weak”.
it’s GOT to be time to “jump bad”, if not now, WHEN?
my gawd.
*sigh*
Who said that and yer showin’ yer age.
I’ve been curious about him ever since he got elected in such a red state, but this was the first time I got to see him in action. He’s fantastic.
Love those headsets from the floor- Krrrck krrrck earth to starship, earth to starship, come in starship
he said that?!
what a jerk
David Gregory is a fucking asshole.
That one sentence should get him fired. It won’t.
No, no, no.
Howard Wolfson and Mark Penn are real people.
I know I’m showing my age – in the mirror, too. :)
siri,
looks like Senator Clinton is going the Lion of the Senate/Statesman route. She took a major first step and attacked them without giving them any “shrill” ammo.
ps – have signed on as your oppo director, where do you want to start, I have a few ideas *g*
Evenin’ Eli and Dogs, how y’all doin ?
I have a feeling Biden’s going to be our attack dog. Tonight was party unity night. Sadly, i have to work both of my jobs since it’s a wed night. So…pharmacy till 9pm EST and then setup for the 11pm to 1am show. No live streaming for me tomorrow night. BUT i have thursday off. I won’t miss that for the world!
I’ll have to catch the Biden replay. I”m pretty sure i’ll be up for it during my post show adrenaline high. :D I look forward to his snark.
This is a pet peeve of mine. The Democrats fall over themselves to show “strength” against the terrorists and the Iranians (and progressives), but never against the Republicans.
They never look so weak as when they’re trying to look strong.
It was so incongruous, it almost had to be a mistake. But no…
The speech was well crafted, very well delivered, fulfilled its function, and was appropriate to its audience and situation. What more do you want?
As a woman who voted for HRC in the primary it makes me sad that she wasn’t able to go all the way. That being said when she dropped out it was NO problem for me to support Obama. My children and the children in this country do not deserve what McCrazy would countinue to do to this country. He doesn’t even show up to his day job.
No way
No how
No McCain
Liked the line about McCain and Bush being in the twin cities next week, because these days it’s awful hard to tell them apart.
But Casey’s line will be the one to take home: that’s not a maverick, that’s a sidekick.
I wanna know who wrote Hillary’s speech. Great content, cadence, zinging and memorable phrases, and the perfect message to her supporters with the “Were you really in this just for me” line.
*Very* well written.
I have the same feeling. Repeating something I said this morning:
Biden = Bitem.
We rather like him. He really is down to earth, a real farmer (with an advanced ag science degree). I am not sure all of his positions would play well nationally. He really does not support gun control (this is Montana after all) for instance. What I like most is that he is a fighter, he is smart, and he listens to advice. I would like to see him replace Bauchus, who really needs to spend more time with his family. Unfortunately, Bauchus is almost as popular and no Dem in the state will challenge him.
I am *really* hoping that sticks. I wish it had been delivered by a bigger name – it would stand a better chance of getting some coverage.
lol
cbl2, we’re having a general strategery meet after sweatlodge on Sat.
Must invite the ancestors first, of course.
Can’t wait to hear your ideas, and you were always the ONLY consideration for oppo director, btw.
You’re SO PSYCHIC!
:D
I wanted to see her go for the rethuglican juggler.
she can do it like no other.
THAT’S what i wanted, and I think I’m not alone there.
Fern.
But they aren’t real Democrats and never have been, regardless of what they may claim. ANY political consultant who would advocate playing the race card is NOT a Democrat.
Are there *any* Democrats who support gun control anymore? I got the impression that they’re all gunshy now… so to speak.
hey, there *is* a God. Brokaw just got his arrogant and ignorant pomposity squashed by a technical glitch…
heh.
YOU know that, and I know that, but the MSM keeps thinking they’re Democrats.
Of course, most of them still think Short Ride Joe is a Dem, too.
I’m hoping our own Gov Granholm heads for the senate after she ends her final term in 2010. She needs to stay working for MI, and since she can’t be president i’d love to see her go for Senator. She’s working her ass off trying ot get MI back on its feet again.
For now? Hillary’s speech was great. She said what needed to be said and got things rolling in the right direction for this part of the convention. I really wish i wasn’t missing the attack lineup tomorrow night. :(
Williams & Brokaw sitting together.
A matched set.
Eli, ain’t THAT the cursed truth!
That is SOOOOOO right on!
Why can’t they get that? on their own?
making “being right, as in correct, as in ethically effective” look like a faux pas.
i love my party, but it NEEDS SOME TEETH!
i get it, i get what you said,
but omg
THE NEED TEETH. and claws, and noive, and spine and some other body parts.
sheeeeesh!
That Guy, and others-
Anyone who has read my comments here knows I have never ever been a Hillary supporter. (And, not an Obama die hard to say the least.)
But Hillary had a specific job to do with that speech tonight. A single moment in the spotlight to do what needed to be done. And, she did. For my money, she absolutely knocked out of the park. Brilliant!
Brokaw – “We heard wit, grace and elegance – doesn’t mean that we won’t hear that next week in St. Paul too…”
Riiiight.
Brokaw and Gregory now in a tie for “Asshat of the Evening”.
(smart money says that him what gets the last word will win)
You haven’t seen Biden and Obama yet.
Equal to the net GDP of several small European duchies.
. . .they are reallly not gonna like Alan Grayson in the House, he will be holding press conferences outing them if they try any of their shit. and he will provide wingman coverage for others . he will lend a little muscle to the Progressive Caucus
. . .and Bob Casey was smacking the crap outta ‘em. Senator Nebbish:Attack Dog who knew ???
I think Gregory has rather an edge in that competition as the more active tool.
and some other body parts.
Do we get to guess? *g*
and will get the bonus bucks too, jayt, doncha know! from their corporate personal “Gods”.
whores first,
asshats as a hobby.
Fer Sure! Just wait, all y’all, we’re only half way there, in the convention. Bill tomorrow night? Joe Biden later? I think we’ll see plenty of teeth.
I have Back to School Night on Thursday and so will miss Obama. Life’s a bitch sometimes…
More frustrating still, as Bush & the GOP’s popularity and credibility have gone down the toilet, the potential price that Democrats would pay for opposing them has plummeted so far that it is now negative.
Brokaw is just a whore. Gregory is an active tool.
Hillary Clinton’s speech was marvelous. She did exactly what she needed to do, and apparently her speech is also Villager-approved. This must have been a bittersweet moment for her supporters; it certainly looked to be one for her husband. But she showed her class and her values tonight.
We are lucky to have her on our side. Very, very lucky.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
*gasp*
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
yeah, lol
pick yer part
anything with NERVE ENDINGS.
smaller the part, the more the nerve endings.
let yer mind just explore and explode!
Probably the first time Bob has given me occasion to say, “That’s my Senator!”
fixed it for ya :D
You are right on. I think one of the Repugs has been f’ing him in the asshole, and they’ve got the video to prove it.
You kidding? Democrat-bashing is *always* a ticket to more airtime.
yep
and just exactly WHAT is the relationship there? mathematically speaking.
did ya see Pelosi in conference on cam this am with Yahoo, CSpan, Politico and i don’t remember who else? oh yeah, the DenCo Post, i think.
was just a trip!
they ask her about “accountability for Bu$hCo” and she trips allll into SChip!
I was throwing the sock balls all over the place.
chit!
More frustrating still, as Bush & the GOP’s popularity and credibility have gone down the toilet, the potential price that Democrats would pay for opposing them has plummeted so far that it is now negative.
hey, cut it out with the double negatives.
and don’t even think about trying that trick with electoral math… *g*
Fixed.
She is brilliant, and did a wonderful job tonight. Chelsea is paying close attention.
That, too. A fool tool.
Pelosi is useless.
i think hillary did an excellent job. anyone considering that she *still* isn’t quite humble/gracious/conciliatory enough in her concession and in her support of obama needs to go pound sand. (-:
i loved the tie-in of harriet tubman and the underground railroad … ” … don’t stop; keep going”.
pres clinton and biden speak the same night, right? tomorrow? that will be the shredding night. a good balance i think.
itunkala
DING!!
Mine @ 108 is for Eli @ 106.
I don’t know what more she could have done or said.
Yup.
Fixed.
*gentle reminder* fantasy violence will result in your comment being moderated
And it’s being repeated on Nightline right now — buyer’s remorse!
ABC is just awwwwful. But they are repeating the highlights of Hillary’s speech.
I agree. Very Lucky.
I’ll even go further. We are blessed.
You sure got that right.
Plus she was terrible last night. I’d show more emotion from just having stage fright, fer cryin’ out loud.
Rachel & Pat up.
oooh – first time I’ve felt empathy for a wildcat…
Sorry.
Fuckin Buchanan sayin that Hillary’s supporters will never come to Obama and that Obama insulted her by not puttin her on the ticket.
He is often a fuckhead.
Pat Buchanadana – “Hillary’s supporters will never leave her.”
Noron – “Listen to the crowd behind you, you crazy old coot”.
Evening, all-
I thought Hillary’s speech was great, maybe her best I’ve ever heard. I also dug the Tubman reference, as well as the Seneca Falls reference. Just wonderful.
I also couldn’t help thinking about some history. After Nixon lost in ‘60, the Republicans nominated Goldwater in ‘64, and when he got beat, Nixon walked back in and took the party over.
If Obama does lose this thing somehow, Hillary is going to take over the party. It will be hers.
JMHO.
No way, no how. If you check the PUMA blogs, all kinds of love for Hillary’s speech, except for where she talked up Obama. Some of them even still think that the superdelegates will all turn around and vote for her.
Ther, fixed it for you.
He’s not just a fuckhead, he’s a dangerous lunatic. Buchanan has no place anyplace but Fauz noobz.
Under a rock in a swamp, actually.
He’s never been a favorite of mine, but with those seven words he got a fan for life. Let’s pay it forward. It’s a great frame for McCain: that’s not a maverick, that’s a sidekick.
1. Ties McCain tight to Bush
2. Destroys the “maverick” myth
3. Collapses the “country first” frame, per egregious’ post with Lakoff earlier today.
4. Mocks McCain generally, which he will hate.
Clearly, McCain is on the ropes with his POW stuff already. He mentioned it again with Leno when asked about how many houses he has — but he also mentioned the kitchen table he didn’t have for five and a half years, so McCain is paying close attention to the mockery. And it bugs him.
Casey’s line is memorable, meme-orable, sweet, short, devastating, encompassing, and TRUE. We need to not let it sink below the waves.
That’s good, ‘cuz she just told them all to vote for Obama.
And yet, sitting next to Maddow, he is the perfect setup.
and it calls his honor into play.. or rather his lack of honor for saying one thing and being another
As you said earlier…hee, hee, hee.
I can only imagine how these airhead pundits are gonna be creamin’ their jeans all next week. A corporate media love fest. BoBo will prolly be in a pink suit by then. This is really gonna be ugly.
Maybe we should start stockpiling sidekick names to refer to him by. Robin, Krypto, Bucky…
Hopefully someone can think of some non-comix ones….
That’s good, ‘cuz she just told them all to vote for Obama.
I think Pat is convinced that, because of their eternal, undying, and unshakable love for Hillary, all of those supporters are going to go to the polls and vote for Barry Goldwater.
I’m sure Mitt’s unity speech will be *awesome*.
the (lime) green hornet
I think Gabby Hayes has some appeal.
Yes, exactly. It is the frame we have been seeking for months, I think.
I would never, ever have expected Bob Casey to come up with it.
And what’s McCain gonna say? “I am so not!”
Buchanan, however, is nobody’s neocon. I wish many Democrats were as outspoken against the Iraq war as Buchanan. He is a true-blue, dyed-in-the-wool, hard-ass conservative of the old school…While often indeed a fuckhead, he is also consistent and more intellectually honest than many politicians, commentators, and journalists.
Plus, anyone that would hang with Hunter S. Thompson, and make sure he has access, can’t be all bad.
Sancho Panza is also a possibility.
Heh. He wasn’t the sidekick, though. Hell, Green Hornet’s sidekick was Bruce forkin’ Lee, so probably not a great example.
Oh, that’s *perfect*. His boss was a delusional idiot too.
i think so too teddy. i hope it gets hit hard and often until he gets asked if he has been called john mcsidekick yet?
Perfect description of Pat.
He’s a keen observer, and, of course, will play the Hard-Right line.
But a whack-job, too.
L’il Beaver (from Red Ryder fame)
was clarabell the clown a sidekick to howdy doody?
Kemosabe
Yep, my reaction exactly. I hope the Obama campaign has the sense to seize upon it.
Shemp. Name him Shemp.
I think so, but perhaps Mickey Mouse’s sidekick, Goofy, is a better fit.
Oh, how about Pokey? Or Goliath?
“…..McCain is on the ropes with his POW stuff already. He mentioned it again with Leno when asked about how many houses he has — but he also mentioned the kitchen table he didn’t have for five and a half years….”
that was just weird. he seemed to have lost it as in a wondering wandering old guy.
I thought, and was PRAYING, he was gonna say he was POW and it was really really rough, and he can’t always recall things on the spot. it felt to be headed in that direction to me. i wish he’d followed through on that point.
That’d just about cinched it. full circle thing.
I was a POW and it damaged my mind, but only SOMETIMES.
man, I’d JUST LOVE to hear THAT outa the ol’ McKeptomaniac!
what’s the name of that little bird that follows Foghorn/Leghorn around claiming “I am *too* a Chickenhawk”?
That’s kinda dissin’ Gabby. He was so great. Hoppy and Windy.
I like “Shemp”.
sprayed vodka tonic on puter screen.
must go sleepy bye bye by now.
LOL Eli.
you ol’ deliverer YOU!
My favorite Stooge (I am in the minority, I’m told.)
oooooo me likey
He’s not a sidekick, though. He’s like a wannabe archenemy. If Foghorn has a sidekick, it’s that little eggheaded birdkid.
NFS. Fer sure.
Paging darkblack! I’m not familiar with the entire darkblack portfolio, so I may have missed an AbFab takedown- but just yesterday I was hoping that db would provide one.
AbFab= “It’s absolutely fabulous being the first woman Speaker of the House”
I’ve been accumulating evidence for this youtube. Haven’t heard her say it lately, though.
“Boy”
Boy, ah say Boy!!
i have this great mental picture of the 3 stooges, with boosh, darth, and mcsame instead.
where is darkblack?
Buchanan is an unAmerican racist xenophobe. His singular contribution to America was helping to ensure the defeat of Prez GHWB. At that point, he could have left for Elba for all I care. It offends me that MSNBC gives him a platform. As Rachel said the other night, his 1992 speech at the RNC made it very clear “he and his party wanted me dead or gone.”
He can die on his own schedule, but I wish he wouldn’t pollute my home with his voice, views, and visage. I don’t think he deserves the blessings of living in America, because he would deny it to so many others.
Yep.
Schweitzer viddy just went up:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKoKHCxWYM8
And Hillary:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gaUbFk4xp9A
Warner’s up too, but, well… you’re on your own.
Now there’s a show I was hooked on. Too funny.
Would that be like a Shemp cocktail?
LOL I knew those people were rachel fans!
What do you mean *we*, Kemo-sabe?
yeap
and, of course, as soon as i pressed submit i realized i shudda said
nyek nyek nyek
makes me laugh just thinking about it…. *g*
jane upstairs
Oh, wise guy!
Time for me to hit the sheets. Tomorrow is another schoolday and I have the inaugural session of my theory seminar. We are hitting the ground running with a discussion of the nature and significance of theory (with a little Thomas Kuhn The Structure of Scientific Revolutions for spice).
McCain reacts to being called a sidekick.
-G
Sleep well, Dr. Dick!
Oh, a little light discussion, huh?
Sweet dreams, then.
Hi, demi!
Hi Ron…this will be my Swan Comment for tonight. Looking at Terry McAulif (can’t spell right now) and thinking, man, a few better decisions here and there and Hillary could have been the nominee.
Close, but No Cigar.
Hardee har har.
Hillary got waylaid by the caucus states….Obama had a plan to win em all- and he did- or came damn close- there weren’t enough votes left for her to recover…
She never saw it coming.
Now Obama is tryin to waylay McCain with a ground game- won’t show up in the polls and that McCain won’t appreciate until it nails him..
Will it work? Beats me!
As long as it beats McCain…
THIS SHOULD BE A BUMPER STICKER BECAUSE THIS IS SOMETHING THE RIGHT-WINGERS WOULD UNDERSTAND.
I thought that was a particularly touching and telling moment when Rachael said that. Hopefully it “humanized” the effects of homophobia for some viewers.
PS – does anyone else’s “show text” not work? Mine doesn’t; hasn’t for days.
That was an interesting moment.
And show text has been disabled for some weeks :(
McC’s record on women’s issues, beyond reproductive rights and Roe v Wade, is terrible. His personal and public life shows a total lack of respect for women. From his position of no fair pay for women, lack of support for funding female health research concerns to legislation for women and children, he gets an F.
Perhaps Hillary can pick up this argument during the run up to the election.
Anyone can pick up the voted with Bush 95% of the time.
Three sinking factors for McC which will be difficult to repackage will be:
1. His disrespect for women through his voting record and personal actions,
2. He is Bush 95% of the time. Really is 5% of the time different the degree of change we need? No!
3.Relying on his POW status to dodge the answer to real and serious questions. Really, if anyone in a leadership position, who has been a victim of a crime or any horrible situation, was to use their victimization as a means for dodging questions or avoid giving straight answers, they would be out of a job. They would be viewed as unfit, that their victimization is affecting their ability to perform and make decisions.
Favorite line:
Priceless! How do you come up with these?
I love the Casey quote too.
