Laura Flanders and guests like Donna Edwards, Andre Banks and David Sirota will be discussing just what the heck "change" means, and how we can get some of that good kind of change, tomorrow at 3pm PDT, live from Denver. We’ll be streaming it here at FDL. It ought to be an interesting chat, hope to see you there.

Hi!
Change we need: campaign finance reform. We MUST get rid of the lobbyists.
given the amount of “change” needed, will that panel be finished by the time the convention is over?
Shit I am canvassing 2 to 4 MDT
PS are you sure you don’t mean 3 pm PDT
every head, of every federal Agency – gone.
(with the *possible* exception of Gates)
Every single other one of them – Gone! With a proper ceremony, in the Rose Garden, where each and every one receives a swift kick in the ass.

We could do with a “Truth and Reconciliation” commission, as well. Air the dirty laundry of the last few years.
Er, yes. Oops. Changed
Wow long awaited definition of what he changes will be from Obama. Yippee some talking points to convert folks with!! Thanks Ian. Manana!
If anyone saw Bill Moyers last week, the man he had as a guest gave some VERY concrete ideas around what “real change” could be. Unfortunately the man calls for Americans to start by looking in the mirror, which seems to be the place we run from the fastet.
Here is the fist YouTube installment for that interview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uK0nVwIEsm4
There are 6 more installments of this interview, but the fist one is explicit enough to summarize a great of the rest, though listening to the whole interview is …well scary and exciting to consider all at once.
Hint: the man says we individually as well as collectively need to get rid of our hubris, live within our means and not rely on credit, cut our dependence on oil, and stop invading countries because of our imperialist attitudes. He says that the two candidates we have are not discussing any of this and will continue the status quo unless the questions are raised and Americans show a willingness to do something about it.
I hope you mention this interview. The man is spot on. He is a retired colonel, has lost a son in Iraq, a conservative, a professor teaching what he is talking about with Moyors, and an author of a book discussing what we could do if we had the guts.

Hoo boy. My “r” on my keyboard requires a lot of pressure because it is sticky. I apologize for my quaffs spelling “first” as “fist” lol
