Champagne Wishes & Caviar Dreams

I think this hits the nail on the head for an even bigger McCain problem, from the Politico:

The McCains increased their budget for household employees from $184,000 in 2006 to $273,000 in 2007, according to John McCain’s tax returns.

More than a quarter-million for what in common parlance would be described as servants. The closest most Americans come to that is asking Jeeves where the celebrity porn tapes can be found. And in these tough economic times, it appears that Jeeves himself has been laid off.

You know, $270,000 would buy a whole lot of arugula. That’s elitism you can believe in. I’m only amazed they didn’t employ a half-sister to clean out the septic tank.

I am not going to vouch for the accuracy of Mark Halperin (Obama will name Lugar, really?), but in a move that shows just how much McCain shot himself in the foot yesterday the Drudge-lover is claiming Mitt Romney has become McCain’s choice for a running mate.

Well, that will certainly appeal to the working class — of Utah and Kathryn Lopez. Watch your dogs!

Let me state once again, there is no way that Jesus, or New World Vacationing Jesus, loves me that much.
