Team Obama seems to be settling in on this slogan, since the recent ads I’ve seen tag with it: “John McCain: More of the Same.” Now we’re talking!

McInsane has been trying to separate from Shrubya and we can’t let him get away with it. Keeping McInsane and Shrub attached at the hip should prove to be a winning strategy.

On the contrary, McCain is showing how much he has in common with the Average American. The AA doesn’t know how many homes he owns either. He may think the owns one, but with the mortgage system today, he may not own it tomorrow.

The debates should be good. Obama’s not great at them, but McInsane is absolutely horrendous at debating. Worse than Shrub even since he doesn’t have the “average Joe-have a beer with” schtick that Shrub created.

The voters really should spare him the burden of having to keep up with another house, especially if one of the current ones is white. Adding the place on Penn Ave, not to mention Camp David might require him to take off one of those loafers to count them all.

To be fair…McCain says that he thought the question was about some other kind of being “rich”…

“having a home, a good job and education and the ability to hand to our children a more prosperous and safer world than the one that we inherited”

So $5 million is necessary to do that, apparently, in McCain-World. All the rest of us have, by definition, crap jobs…should be renters, not be allowed to have access to affordable schools.

And then he says a lot of people that are defined as rich are “unhappy”…until they reach that $5 million…then they are…by his definition “rich”.

I mean it was pretty clear that McCain knew Warren meant MONEY, and spent a bunch of time rambling about bear DNA until he came up with some sort of an answer. AND he DIDN’T SAY anything about wealth being in spirit and health until well after he was hit with Obama’s attacks. Then suddenbly he starts preaching the “Prosperity Gospel”.

BTW if the critical things to make us “rich” are things like education, everyone having a good job, and handing our children a safer and more prosperous WORLD than our current one, then that would entail actions that government could undertake and the financially wealthy could contribute to by taxes. The wealthy shouldn’t be able to avoid paying fair contributions to these needs. But clearly McCain DOES equate wealth with money…that’s why he talks about everyone becoming wealthy and not taxing them. Lemme tell ya, there would be a lot more “spiritually” happy pewople if the wealthy and corporations paid anything near their fair share…and didn’t lay that burden on the middlke-class, and folks taking on two jobs or having two adult wage-earners to make ends meet.

Johnny is theoretically worth $40 million without counting any of Cindy’s money. Hopefully the Senate will help him out and pass another biannual cost of living adjustment.

I really hope you are right. Currently, it’s like Obama vs. McCain & the Republics & the media. Where is the Democratic Party? Is there no one willing to work against McCain?

Republican voters tend to fall into two categories, a small group who are already rich and a much larger group who are not rich but think they will win the lottery one day. The second group also believes that the GOP shares their “moral” values, so they are delusional on more than one front.
