I feel the same way about the HRC. I keep getting mail from from them, even though I wrote them a VERY clear letter explaining that their support of Joe Lieberman (among other things) had caused me to not renew my membership. Now they’re like the crazy ex-girlfriend who won’t go away.

Memo to NARAL, Planned Parenthood, HRC, and other “progressive” groups: Unless and until you send out a letter saying, “We’re sorry. McCain and Lieberman have this in common that they will say anything to get what they want. I think that Lieberman’s dream is to be the first person nominated for VP by both major parties, and if McCain gets elected and drops dead, then Lieberman would be the first Jewish President a prospect that no doubt gives him a near terminal woody everytime he thinks about it.

Working in the membership of a small nonprofit, I had this problem with some members. We outsourced mass mailings, and for some reason the names that I had removed from our mailing lists always got mailed. Got so bad that I literally wrote DO NOT MAIL in the address line. They still got mailed. No quality control from the mail house.

I do get gun mags periodically (if you buy any gun-related stuff, or perhaps even archery stuff you will start getting some) and I find that a not insignificant number of them include adds talking about how Obama will take all our guns from us.
