Why not go all the way, as did the Catholic Workers and Dorothy Day, and become a Christian Anarchist? They are radical socialists. They actually live the gospel. Do you know of Ammon Hennacy? There was a man who lived his principles? I used to see Ammon annually when he debated the august Fathers at campus Newman Centers. After their presentations justifying war in the casuistical sense of the Jesuits and Aquinas, Ammon would innocently ask “But what about Christ?” Worked every time.
