Also, I never was an expert on currencies. </p> <p>The USD has been extremely weak for a very long time. My guess is that it got overdone, as all market participants kept focusing on what’s wrong with US economy & policy & not on what was happening in other countries. That might have given a bubble like aspect to the values of the pound & euro. But not all is well in the economies on the other side of the pond, so at some point those situations must reassert themselves. The coffee and tea are ready, and I’ve got apple walnut muffins just out of the oven. It’s errands day today — food for the tigers, bird seed for the feeders, and groceries for the humans.
