Just in my little part of the world I can’t help but notice the meanness and lack of empathy of those I encounter. My biggest complaint about Reagan is his “every man for himself” philosophy. We’ve now got a society filled with self-absorbed people whose biggest concern is appearing richer than their neighbors. A random act of kindness is beyond the understanding of these people.</p> I certainly can’t argue with that.
