Yes, you read that right. Now they’ll only put people in the database if they can’t figure out who they are. I’m sure that a database full of entries like “John Doe #54185, white male, mid thirties” is going to keep us a lot safer.

I think Obama has something to bring….but if he chooses someone that no one would have chosen as president, then he risks just fading away. I wasn’t a Hillary fan, but I do think she would be the strongest VP call. Some basic unknown just doesn’t grab my enthusiasm.

Bush doesn’t care about Europe he just doesn’t want to Look like he is not backing down hopefully Russia has a face saving way out for Bush otherwise things will get worse.

FBI to get freer rein to look for terrorism suspects

Attorney General Michael Mukasey confirmed plans Wednesday to loosen post-Watergate restrictions on the FBI’s national security and criminal investigations, saying the changes were necessary to improve the bureau’s ability to detect terrorists.

Mukasey said he expected criticism of the new rules because “they expressly authorize the FBI to engage in intelligence collection inside the United States.” However, he said the criticism would be misplaced because the bureau has long had authority to do so.
