I know not everyone’s marriage is perfect. I know that it isn’t always possible to think with your head. But when you are a progressive candidate representing the hopes and aspirations of millions of concerned Americans is it really too much to ask to keep your pants on or at least get out from under your marriage first? This isn’t just about one man’s lie or peccadillo. Edwards’ behavior undercuts his credibility and along with it his message and the progressive ideas he espoused and that the country needs.
