The problem with this kind of thing is that a surrogate often can be tripped up by this kind of question, like the Texas state rep who couldn’t name any of Obama’s legislative accomplishments. Now, in McCain’s case it really is true that his record is sorry, but the way to make that point is to look at the record, rather than at the deer-in-the-headlights look of the poor schlub that was on the teevee.

This is great lets assume that jury of one peers statement is true. Solders are covered by the Geneva Conventions with regard to torture and being tried in court.

Good point some other reporters who were there might have scooped her if she tried to cover for McCain. Nobody likes being asked to cover for a bad easy to expose lie.
