Thanks for that. I watched half and bookmarked it to rewatch….and also to share with my daughter who is a college teacher. We are going to go down an ‘interesting’ road in the near future. It will not be the USA that we older folks (born post WWII) grew up in. Grover and the guys screwed the pooch and the guvt is being drowned in the bathtub as we speak. Tough times ahead…………..as Dr.Kirk and Ian pointed out in posts just past. But, hey, what do I know. I’ve been bounced off this site for crossing the ‘guys’ — for not ascribing to their open immigration- kumbaya — posts. I’ve been called a racist. I don’t see us taking in a gazillion hungry blacks from Africa, though I think that if we were so open-immigration we surely would be doing that! It will get nasty and then nastier. As I said, pack lite and carry a water purifier.

Good Morning Folks,

Yesterday, I was talking about bringing the Heart Tuner Gizmo I’ve been experimenting with to DemocracyFest on the 16th and 17th. My experiments involve consciously manipulating my heart’s electrical charge. It’s fascinating stuff.

Anyway, last night I took some pictures of me doing this while listening to dance music. They clearly show the creation of coherent ascending heart waves.Come have a look.

At DemocracyFestI’ll not only be letting attendees try this experimental technology, this Subway Serenade is also Howard Dean’s closing act. I perform just after his Keynote address.

I read Shock Doctrine with a good supply of bandages and bourbon around me. I couldn’t weep because I was so outraged that I just wanted vengeance/justice. I keep thinking of Norske and the pitchforks and torches. In truth, I couldn’t read the whole book……..it became, ‘what for?’ ….. just too shock doctriny for me. We’re here. It’s all over us. We can’t seem to rally a rout. And this is the bad part: I’ve got more grandkids coming, so I have to cool my ardor for outrage or I’ll implode and be useless. And, damn, where do I shepherd whatever assets I’ve earned/saved/done=without-for over the years? What a friggin’ mess we are in.
