Monkey madness!
Dugg this Post!!
Evening ES how are ya doping??
Hey, ES, monkeys scare me!
Durn right I done Digged it!
No dope.. just Stones! /s
good evening all
BRB
I tried to look at the video but I just couldn’t. GWB is one of the scariest monkies I’ve had to think about in my lifetime. I just couldn’t…….I just couldn’t………….
I like orangatans, tho……it’s the trained monkies that spook me, ya know?
monkeys, monkeys, monkeys……scariness just screws up my spelling. creeps me out. whatever.
well, it seems this one wasn’t trained very well…
Dang, I was snoozing and forgot what time it was… There went my attempt for a hat trick…! Aloha, ES!
yeah, there is only one freak in that ape show.
In the six-degree syndrome…..my brother’s best friend grew up to be one of Bush’s early pals and advisors. I think back upon what a nice kid he was and wonder how he got sucked into the mix and give him credit for getting the hell out in good time. Bush is monkeyville. I can see that his mother is a scourge, but how does his father tolerate his son’s stupidity? You know?
at the end of the vid above, it advises to google various things – one of which is WTC 7.
I did that once – and didn’t come back up for air for a couple of months or so…
Sorry CT but I couldn’t resit!
Much more fun, and less cringy buncha monkeys. I will so GLAD when that offense to all my sense of sound is gone from office. EGADS.
Gorillaz–Dare
*boogies to the grove laid down by Danger Mouse*
Junior certainly has spurned all of Daddy’s advisors and advice…!
I would have thrown you a rope had i known.
(((((Eureka Springs)))))
Thanks for the lift. Samantha Power wrote it, I noticed. But why does the level of depravity have to be INSANELY at sub sub sub evil levels and the atrocities on such a mind-numbing scale by the time these horrors in the guise of humans are stopped?
RESPONSIBILITY = THE ABILITY TO RESPOND
This country, this world suffering from a lack of ABILITY TO RESPOND-NESS …. RESPONSIBILITY…..
Except for the liars… they respond fast. Boy they got out the anthrax from Iraq story really fast when it happened. Oh yeah. This is the shock doctrine I must be alluding to.
Lot of googling homework at end of Monkey Man. Thank you, ES.
Groove even. Blargh, it’s a bad sign when i can’t spell and the night is still ‘early’ for me.
Mini-vacation. 72 hours and counting! w00t. I leave tuesday morning, bright and early.
he suspected they were smarter than he was, and he just couldn’t stand that
Here’s what’s on my mind…and the reason I can’t sleep. I was at Amazon.com today checking out the new Obama books. Nasty stuff. Then I was channel surfing and Hannity had one of the authors on. Don’t know who he was. I couldn’t watch more than a few seconds.. But I think he was saying that Obama regularly met with terrorists and that Obama even had a code name. He could have meant domestically grown terrorists, I’m not sure what he was saying, but it’s sure to scare the lizard brains.
Did I mention that Obama’s the new anti-Christ?
Seriously.
Hey nahant – are you two heading down Sunday for the Pod packing party in da redwoods?
Good evening, (((NPB))))
Consolation prize! for ya CT!
I’d skip the googling recommended at the end of that youtube and read the Shock Doctrine myself. In fact I’ve been reading it for a second time this week.
I thought the Pups could use a little cheering as the dam Dems don’t want to take care of the people’s business on these matters of such importance:>)
I am reading it right now, even as we speak. It is hard to take in large doses because it makes me so angry, so it is good to read a few pages at a time when the comments get slow
you bet the chili has just finished it’s first cooking and now cooling down… second cooking will start in the am… Tucker is coming along to keep token company also:>()
I also recommend it highly btw. But prepared to be outraged.
Da stones…! ;-)
One of my favorites by them… music is great and the lyrics well they do all the talking needed!
Same height and weight, eh?
it’s a lot easier the second time through.. a good five to twenty pages before you have to set it down and get up and walk it off. First time through.. every other page.
Always a joy, alias! Are ya headed to the Windy city?
The first section really hits home for me… My oldest sister went through that kind of treatment and I was the designated driver for her… No fun at all:>(
Tucker is just a wee bit bigger… that was his 1yr old picture..
Things are getting hinky out there. Seems like the whole Bush game is collapsing upon itself. I imagine that there a many people involved who are scared shitless….
It’s starting to feel like the series of scenes in Goodfellas, after the Lufthansa heist when the gangsters started to roll up all of their loose ends.
There’s a bad moon rising.
-G
The thing I hate the most about Bush is how familiar he seems to me. That gives me the creeps. I remember seeing movies and photos of Hitler has a child. I was horrified but disconnected. While Bush is not the boy next door he IS the asshole down the street.
here is some more pics of Tucker
Well, kids are congregating for my son’s 14th birthday, I shall bid ya’ll a fond adieu! Aloha Oe!!!
Rumors that AQ # 2, Ayman Al Zawahiri has been injured.

Lebanese gov’t gives Hezbollah authority to defend territory.
Aloha.

so has anyone gotten around to asking Obama how he feels about “shock therapy” as a means to international economic domination?
I’m just working on it now. I figured I was hearing so much of it second hand. Lots of shock and awe and education. Thank God for the Naomi Kleins of the world.
Oh boy 14 wish him Happy Birthday from All us Pups:>)
Thought p’nit would crack long before now, what with travel to countries with funny names, weird food and meeting with non-fratboy types. And having to familiarize himself (to some extent) with matters of policy. Then losing his personal support systems – harriett, gonzo, karl, scotty, condi…
First time in his life he’s ever been stretched and had to meet challenges. I’m sure being lord of his universe, having his ass kissed 24/7, wearing costumes, etc must help a bit. But still amazes that he’s coped.
Maybe if someone had taken him in hand as a kid, he could have amounted to something…
Here is the plan and time
I think it’s the dancing that really helps him get by…
That should have read…. Here is the plan and time line for our Solar installation:
Dam I hate it when I screw up like that:>(
My favorite passage:
That part I definitely enjoyed! Thanks. Will share this article with my network … a nice antidote to the spirit eroding missives I usually send.
You are da man! I could barely get through Shock Doctrine once ….. painful and troubling and upsetting.
Yep… we can only hope to see the same thing for Shrub, Darth and company…
I just won’t hold my breath..
I am sooooo going to miss that chili. I’d do the drive north except that my daughter is being feted on Sunday for being the pregnant bearer of impending identical twin boys. I’ll stick around to be supportive. But I’ll also be thinking of you guys helping Suzanne and will definitely be thinking about that chili and about that pie. Yum.
The “U.S.: Ayman Al-Zawahiri Dead?” report originated at
http://www.stratfor.com/memberships/120883
I’ve never heard of it before.. is it reliable at all? Looks like a rumor mill for spooks or something.. and the timing, considering Bushco attaking the feckless pakistani ISI.. might all be kabuki.
Well DWR1 you will be missed but you will be doing what is needed for your daughter… Good luck and hope all goes well for mother and babies… Will these be your first grand kids?? And boys I can see some fishing and lots of fun in your future:>)
During the recent “slight nod to impeachment” day, there was some Repub Congressman who said something like, “You make the president sound like you are talking about Caligula!” in his faux indignation and buzzsaw sarcasm. But I thought, yeah… that thought has crossed my mind a lot over these years. (Caligula…. Didn’t he assign a horse to be one of his officers?)
Lara Logan at CBS is reporting the news as an exclusive.

P.S. Ivins was AT the hospital when he reportedly committed suicide.
From Yahoo: This past Tuesday, he committed suicide at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Maryland. His lawyer blamed the death on the government’s “relentless pressure of accusation and innuendo.”
is he the guy that we have killed twice?
Evening nahant;
Getting a new solar system?
Let’s see, we start with the sun, some planets and before long …
Maybe we can do a better job with the third planet this time?
:~D
I thought it was at least a dozen times by now. /s
The Rethugs will scream and yell like a banshee if the Shrub gets investigated for Impeachment… I you ask me he should just be brought to the Hague directly on 1-20-2009 along with his henchmen..-
LOL but yep can’t wait to become a power generation station.. and sell my extras power back to PG&E..
I don’t suppose anyone’s got any conspiracy theories?
MSM press has a lot of egg on its face thanks to Glenn Greenwald nailing all the rush to judgment it was from Iraq assurances. Talk about THAT shock doctrine … playing with anthrax jitters.
We can build an GOP wailing wall in DC for the GOPers… with a dial a prayer phone connected directly to the Hague. /s
summer
It’s that good, eh? It is on the top of my list of book to get next. I’m almost afraid to read it.
yep, prolly so :-)
I’ve got a granddaughter in Montana whose mother (my girl) knows from fly fishing! I imagine my grandgirl as a future barrel racer and fly fisher. I can dream. My grandfather taught my own father to fish in the Sierras and my own first fishing trip was on the Sacramento River with my grandfather. The boys (Art&Bart/or Guido&Dante, or Marco&Paolo) …. no, we’re all better than that!…..the boys will definitely learn to fish. Times are different now. I’m not much into the catch and release…..I think of that as needless playing with good fish. I have a sense that if you catch ‘em you should cook ‘em. But, hey, that’s just me.
For fuck’s sake, it’s shit like this that reminds me of why I stopped watching MTV. Fucking record companies. Fucking MTV. Fucking MySpace.
This song gets more and more true every damn day.
You are in the vanguard, nahant, but if we are to do what is appropriate and needful for this particular third planet, then many of us will live to see that day when virtually every building will be an energy producer rather than an energy ’sink’.
More power to you and, please, keep us informed as time goes on …
I have seen the future and it is nahant!
(And we all can ‘dig’ that, most happily, nahant).
BTW, thanks for reminding folks of that method of expanding the good influences of FDL.
;~D
It’ll knock you….it’ll give you pause. There’s some pushback going on, but I think she spoke truth to power.
And it was a hard read.
I do like to eat what I catch but sometimes you have to let them go the Rules… but then again we need to make sure there will be more in the future…unlike what has happened to the Salmon season this year..
I love to visit my oldest son up in Portland…. he has a drift boat and we have fished the rivers around Portland and out on the coastal rivers… he has many friends that have bigger boats and they have gone out as far as 30 miles after Halibut, Salmon and a like… Hope to get back up before winter for the fall runs…
All about Milton Friedman from Chicago, and all the trouble his economics stirred up — clean slate economics. Katrina was a godsend to rebuild NO.
And how the tsunami was the greatest thing that could have happened to international real estate. So what if the fishermen all lost their homes. Hit ‘em when they are traumatized. Opportunistic disaster capitalists.
Been listenin to VINNIE!
What a monster.
Well, you are years ahead of folks like me, but she really does lay it all out very well, with lots of details, ties things together etc. The worst thing that could happen will be you give it to someone else who will thank you later…)
The thing I know that is gone in New Orleans and that I loved are the neighborhood accents. I can’t begin to imagine what was lost in the tsunami. Exquisite entropy.
Exquisite pain.
And furthermore, fucking Objectivists! Narcissistic little ass monkeys, every damn one of them. Especially that pile of shit Alan Greenspan. On a completely different topic altogether, wouldn’t it be cool if someone figured out a way to use wind turbines to help power an electric vehicle? Like small turbines on the side of it, cranking the juice. If someone could pull that off, now that would be just fucking spiffy.
Time to round them all up ship them to Chile for imprisonment in their jails as they were one of the first countries to be fucked up by Miltie and friends.
Oh and Mc Pain is using New Orleans school system as an example of how to run school systems and privatize em and close all the public schools… Gee I wonder where the poor/middle class will go to school… Miltie says all that the people built after the 29 depression should all be turned over to private companies SO THEY CAN MAKE MONEY OFF THE ASSETS THE WE PAID FOR…
Is it Vermont that is willing to arrest both Bush and Cheney?
Ward Reilly, a Vietnam Vet against the War, did knock on the WH door one day and tried to make a citizen’s arrest.
http://www.baltimorechronicle……illy.shtml
A hard but critically important read.
It’s one of those books that you have to put down, from time to time, so that you can exercise your invective, otherwise you just might throw the book, but if you do, you’ll pick it up again …
I’m all about protecting the stock. I just don’t get off on the idea of catch and release because I don’t like the idea of playing with the fish. I’m in south CA and we are not doing salmon this year, and I’m okay with that, for sure. Plus, my brother and I were really so bad at fishing for salmon anyway! Just fools on a boat. I like stream fishing, myself, anyway. And I really only want to catch what I can eat that evening anyway. Or smoke/preserve. Old school, I guess.
Isn’t there a famous quote about someone not necessarily believing in God, but they sure as hell believe in the devil?
I keep having an image of dozens of tiny wind turbines all along the roof line of my house.
I am still reading the book and I agree it is well put together and she lays it out just as it has happened and explains just what the CONSERVATIVES really want…. everything and crumbs for us… Sorry Capitalism must be regulated or it goes haywire when the rich bastards go for all the wealth… just look around you… do you see any good things about this economy>????
As I read the Shock Doctrine, I see less and less evidence of straightforward yet awesome incompetence, and more cold, calculated, bloodless evil … we want ours. HUBRIS is not a big enough word. NARCISSISM … SOCIOPATHOLOGY… PSYCHOPATHOLOGY… getting warmer.
Hearing the tidy profits of Exxon. Hello?????
Go for it! The wind is there, just have to grab it! For me, I want to see an electric motorcycle that looks like the new VMAX, with wind turbines inside those air intakes on the side.
Yep Brattleboro was the first to vote for warrants…. my cousin lives there in town on New England dr/… As a kids we used to spend time with them very nice place.. great people..
That is all that McCain represents. He is evil and not life sustaining.
So true. I could only read it in stages. I was so offended at what had been done in MY name as an American. I do think that we should encourage others to read this work. It’s a hard read, but it is so important for citizens to get informed.
I love sashimi on the spot where I catch it. I NWA I never freeze fish, just catch and prepare it right away. Smallmouth are abundant about 200 yards from where I type.
bingo
Absitively and Posolutely!
I could never finish it. So I gave it to my neighbor’s kid who is in ROTC and wants to join Blackwater after his tour in the army. His father is a biker. (scared shitless of women) Plicks.
More versions of the suicide story yet to come, no doubt.
Nope just the way it should be… only keep what you can eat or share with friends and family. But I do feel for all the small fishermen their season has been lost and many are giving up… A lot of it is because of all the water taken out of the rivers by the farmers who sell the excess and waste more than most cities use!!
Think how weird it would have been if he had used anthrax.
When I was outsourced from my last job they rounded up the department mysteriously by phone message mid-day. As we collected in the conference room, the news that our jobs were being shipped to India was conveyed to us with corporate-speak enthusiasm as they produced chart after chart of how this was going to help the company.
THERE WAS NO EMPATHY. And not the slightest clue that they had any outward sensitivty to the trauma they had just caused to a room full of people, some who had served them over 20 years. Insult to injury. Okay, lay us off. Don’t make us sit through 45 minutes of how much money you will make ripping off your new Indian employees (it’s all relative).
Klein says, too, that the citizenry gets conned into regarding the benefits of the home-team capitalists as a win for themselves. What a cruel set up.
20 points to anyone who can identify the gal singing backup and playing tambourine.
So it all comes down to having some-lower-lip-above-water faith in the “critical thinking capacity” of the MAJORITY of the populace, election tampering factored in, I suppose.
A country that put Bush in twice. Oy vey.
Hey DW! Nice to see you again!
1,720 DAYZ AND THE KILLIN GOEZ ON AND ON AND…
Citizen Eureka Springs:
Where are ya catchin’ the Smallmouth? If ya got smallies ya probably got some Sunfish, Cappies and maybe a Walleye er two around…are ya next to a river er do ya have a lake close? I personally will eat Smallmouth in the spring or smaller ones under a pund and a half if the water is cold and if the stream is runnin hard…but they ken get real fishy the larger the fish and the warmer the summer.
Have I toldja lately how much I LUV your and Suzanne’s Late Nite efforts…especially when I hafta work a Friday night (like tanight)…FDL Late Night is preservin’ the old community fellin’ of the site when it first came on board the electronic super highway…I wish we could exptend some of this comraderie to the other shifts and ta some a the other front-pagers…we been losin’ a lotta old timers lately and I’m gettin’ a bit worried about what’s happenin’ to our village here.
So keep on keepin on there Citizen ES…I’m countin on ya!
KEEP THE FAITH AND DON’T LET THE BASTARDS INTO YER YARD!!
Thanks Libby good reading but damit so fucking true.. I also served and as they said my ass was theirs till I got out… for a while it wasn’t so bad but I tell ya what is happening these days really pisses me off… What ever happened to keeping your oath?? these Rethugs sure could care less:>)… To the HAGUE with them all..lock them up in solitary until they are given the final punishment!!
Oh, I so understand. We are as a country just so out of whack…..we have no foresight, no plan, no sense of the future. I really do worry for my grandchildren….. the Montana girl and the California boys. It is all so different from when I was a kid just after WWII. I sometimes want to put my own dad (who is 90 and still kicking big time) to the test about how we all went so off track. He’s savvy and he knows things have gone off track, but he learned to be a Republican and it pains him to fess up to the catastrophes ahead. He and my deviant neo-con brother cannot see how the Repubs are hauling us down he drain, into Cheney’s dark hole. It would be, I think, unkind to take my 90 year old dad to the mat……but, damn, I want truth and I want those deluded Repubs to speak truth to power. Ah, well…..
Actually, I am finding it very readable from the perspective of good writing–clear, crisp, logical, interesting, a flowing narrative. The hard part about reading it is the emotional impact–the helpless rage at what our country has done to other once-sovereign nations, destroying their economies to conform them to a rigid Chicago School “free enterprise” model that only works for the rich and powerful–at great cost to the middle and lower classes.
And, more and more (see New Orleans; see privatization/outsourcing of key functions of our government to provide windfalls for corporations and their investors) what they are doing to our own country.
Although it can be hard to take emotionally, I think it is important for as many progressives as possible to read this book, to help us understand the true nature of what we are up against.
BTW I am on p. 440–only 26 more pages to go–then I will be relieved to read something less challenging for a change. But no regrets about reading it.
Appalling libby;
Especially given that not only can you probably write rings around everyone of those ‘management’ types, but also, in my opinion, you are ‘worth’ about 100 (if not more) of such pathologically damaged, frightened little pipsqueaks.
So there!
;~D
And likewise, back at ya!
Both elections were stolen. I do not feel that badly towards my fellow mericans. Now, it is true that some are dumb as dirt.
How very true… I was outsourced from Xerox to EDS … couple of years later I took early retirement but got laid off on 9-21-2001 At least my boss laid me off as soon as I got in the Management wanted me to first help lay off other people and then later in the day lay me off… my boss said no way he wouldn’t treat me that way… he is one of the good guys…
I think the FISA vote was such a cruel whack to the solar plexus. I think I thought the contest was closer between the good, the bad and the ugly. Lots of kool-aid drunk by our powers that be. Lots of money bargains made. Playing field feels almost perpindicular. Senator Sprinkles and Uncle Ted … and a continuum of compromisers … Gotta cultivate the integrity-honorers … how lonely that job must be. Feingold, Kucinich…
Norske, This is my back yard. The Kings River.
We have lakes, ponds ( A friend and neighbor is growing cat fish this year in his pond, but i don’t think he’s ready ta clean and put up that many) and many reservoirs within a few miles. So all of the above and more, such as trout and striped bass. Water is cool eough year round in the spring fed Kings to keep the small mouth real tasty. Boy they are fighters, probably the best in their size range.
DW — thanks for the TLC! I did get to higher ground after that! :)
Hey, Norske, …… yes, there IS something special about late, late night. And I think maybe you helped me buy my pitchfork and torch. I regret…. deeply….those who fade away. Keep up the good work you do in stirring us!
Maybe President Obama could just declare them all enemy combatants and rendition them to some of the countries they have victimized…and then promptly repeal the unconstitutional laws that gave him and his predecessor the ability to do that.
But there are many people who believed in the Republican party as it once was… not what it has become under these conservatives and neocons… As said up thread it is all me me me me and fuck the rest of you I got mine and if I can I will take yours!!
Nope. This time i’m taking the USS Badger over to Maintowoc, where a friend is going to pick me up and we’ll head over to Green Bay,WI. Where she lives.
Just bit of visit the city and hangout and watch anime and generally geek out in good company days. Not quite convention level sillies. But just a good vacation from the sheer crazy that is my current life. I need a break from DJing and work, so roughly 4 days? (two of them paid) Will do nicely. A bit of much needed escape, and i get to see a bit more of an area iv’e only passed through on the way to Minnesota as a kidlet.
Yeah … I realize how not so vigilant I have been about politics for too long. Jefferson’s statement about “the price of freedom is eternal vigilance.” He tried to tell us, didn’t he.
Apparently there was a lot of NASTY business in Ohio that matched Gore’s Florida fiasco. Cable movie coming soon I am sure.
Damn…f-ing Reuters is done now too. Go out for a night on the town and coming home while trying to make the room stop swirling, I gots to read this crap:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/200…..palooza_dc
This “Democrat Part B.S. along with several articles advancing McC*nt approved storylines on the Reuters frontpage. Perhaps Reuters “reporter” Ros Krasny should read some on their hero, William F. Buckley…
http://www.newyorker.com/archi….._hertzberg
We’ve got to call these a-holes out on this shit.
Don’t forget Robert Waxman he has fought hard for our constitution and is now in a fight for hie seat… you can help him here
Here is a plea from Congressman Robert Wexler:… I meant Robert Wexler @122
I empathize. Being more in management must be harder when “corporate” flexing happens.
I never saw that movie End in Sight, but I heard it showed how emotionally torturous it was for people closer to the crazymaking “deciders” in the Bush administration who had to fulfill the mandates that were so destructive and wasteful and corrupt.
In the book, The Dark Side, my next one after SD, the author claims what kept her going were the good guys who were taking stands against the insanity.
Self fucking funded fuckers are running against him. This is how the very rich will stay in power. Buy their seats.
Perhaps, nahant, you mean Wexler?
Yes, Wexler has been fighting the good fight. I will contribute. Thanks.
Folks come and go.. I know old BK got a bit burned out last week, but he will be back ornery as ever. What we firedogs do takes a lot of hard headed determination, AKA patriotism. I wold much rather see folks take a break, than give up altogether. Which I hope some of those who are a bit quiet these days are doing.
FISA and Barrow in re Obama… really took a lot of wind out of my sails. I need much more of what massacio posted about this week to get me through.. targeted action!
yep see my 123.. hate it when I fuck up like that:>)
Sounds like a Rethuglian tactic to me… Wouldn’t it be great to see if you could not fund your own election with your own money and everyone HAD to use public funding… now that is when I would check that box about contributing to public funding!!!
Good night all. See you tomorrow. I love yous.
nahant,
Be kind to yourself, you caught it, far more quickly than my old synapses catches me own brain poots …
;~D
g’ nite Mary. hug the puppy!
G’Nite, Mary, sleep well, with kindly and pleasant dreams.
Good night, too. Appreciated the exchange.
I hope yer having a good night.
I won’t tell ya that I just started a staycation and just enjoyed a dinner of some grilled rabbit,
Good ta see ya.
nite, mary.
Always good to see you too, ll.
I spoke to Suz and she says that is what they want to do is to preserve the community of the late late nite… where you can just talk about anything and every thing.. last evening the main topic was GARLIC… you just never know where late late night will go!! But one thing you can count on is good friends here at night and not a lot of bickering about crapola that you see on the big sites like KOS.. is why I don’t visit there much any more..
Store bought, or the real deal?
Back at youy Mary how is the smoke these days?/
Call me oldfashioned, but I think this staycation idea is going to be a plus. We’ve all been tittilized more than is good for a nation. Could Disneyland be more ‘important’ than just enjoying your own community? I think not.
wabbit did some one say wabbit… I loves me wabbit but sweetie won’t let me make it:>( oh well price ya have ta pay
Evening Busted.. ya coming down for Sunday get together?
GARLIC was very, very good! I makie reek a bit, but I sure did enjoy the recipes and such.
Hey, I’ve seen some pretty fierce bickering in the wee wee hours around here from time to time. *G*
Not to suggest he was a bickerer, but I wonder whatever happened to montag?
night LL sleep well:>) great conservation:>)
If I actually get my stress level down to manageable levels, I am going to go fishing, maybe I have that backwards…
Evening! All!
I just got here. Been getting my chocolate torte baked and ready to ship to Suzanne’s party Sunday.
Or: If anthrax had been used on him. I am still not confident that we know that he was not murdered by Darth and his minions.
Citizen ES:
Pound fer pound the Smallie is the toughest little fighter in the stream and the deep water lake Smallmouth get BIG and I personally like catchin’ the larger ones better’n Northern Pike er Walleye…if ya like the fresh fish right outta the water and inta the pan, try the panfish and Perch er Shad ya got swimmin’ in those waters…freshwater fish less’n and hour outta the water and inta a pan on a WOOD fire (gotta be a wood fire, don’tcha know…no gas, Dear, ya spoil the experience)…makes ya think yer one of God’s chosen folks.
KEEP THE FAITH, FASCISTS ARE NOT GOOD FOR CHILDREN AND OTHER LIVING THINGS!!
Late late’s a bit of a rare treat, and I savor it all the more for that.
But I share Norske’s broader concern that folks like Raven and Kiddo are no longer sharing their wisdom and wit with us.
Sorry, I cain’t make that one but I told Suzanne that if she winds up within two hundred miles of here, I would be at the Pod UNpacking party.
Evening cleanth… spoke to Suz today and she said would let me have a wee bit of that tort you are sending…wish I knew a way to send you some of the chili thats cooling on the stove as we speak…
Yep, don’t even think of your stress level, just throw your line in. Don’t care if you catch or don’t, just re-bait. Don’t worry about getting your shoes muddy, just get close to the water. Don’t care, just be.
amen to all that
Can’t argue with that sentiment… hopefully they will all come home so we can enjoy their company and wisdom…
I actually contacted our friend Raven. It is to our detriment that he no longer feels welcome here.
just taking a break??? we all have to sometimes!!
Citizen Bustedknuckles:
Back atcha there Brother ‘knuckles…hope the rabbit was done the way my Great Grama Peterson used ta make it…seasoned within an inch of it’s life cooked with fresh graden onions and with natural gravey made, reduced and poured back over the critter before ya dig in…squirrel in the Spring and Fall ken give ya the same culenary experience.
Enjoy yer respite there ‘knuckles…you deserve it.
Busted let him know we would love to have him visit us here on the late late night!! Tell him Nahant asked about him..
and good nite to all you fine firepups. Don’t forget to vote, any of you who have August 5 PRIMARIES like I do
Did you get a sense of why Raven didn’t feel comfortable? I thought his comments were good for me. Selfish, perhaps, but I miss commenters who gave me things to think about. I thought Raven was a real credit to this site. What happened?
night Neuro have a good one see next time:>) And don’t forget to digg that Post:>)
I must say, of the thousands and thousands of shad i’ve caught for cut bait.. it never occurred to me, what they might taste like.. Which is strange considering I’ve tried tasting just about everything.
Crappie is the best tasting fresh water fish, imo. Although it’s hard to beat the flavor of a perch. And fresh trout on a wood fire, a hot stone and only butter and lemon, is one of life greatest gifts.
One of the greatest projects done. And they were going thru personnel changes too . . .
Monkey Man, You Got The Silver, You Can’t Always Get What You Want.
And every single tune on this record, like Beggar’s Banquet, was solid, and both projects can be found at fests galore, done acoustically, in the jam grass style, to this day.
Two of the best, not including the first four Stones projects, and Exile, and on and on and on.
Like The Beatles, they released a LOT of albums, with LOTS of songs from a LOT of styles.
And they changed it all . . .
I’m A Monkeeeehhhhhhhh . . . . indeed! :D
If you speak with him again, Busted, please pass along my regards, make that a “Yo!”
It is our deep loss indeed, that Raven feels unwelcome here, but I understand.
Citizen Bustedknuckles:
Please pass on ta Raven that we’re all missin’ ‘im and he’s surely gotta do what he’s gotta do but tell ‘im I’m terribly sorry I missed the final takedown with MarkfromIreland…I woulda been in the middle a that shit fer sure and I’ve been down ta the mat with his daughter Siun a couple a times and I think the management here is doin some “managing” ‘cuz I haven’t seen the two of ‘em featured as much as they used ta be.
I hope I ain’t one of his reasons not ta waste time here…I miss the guy and I think our community is weakened greatly by the lose of Raven and oklahoma kiddo.
good night, neurophius
I certainly can not speak for someone else.
I realized I had not seen him around for a while and decided to find him just to say Howdy.
my best regards to Raven also. And OK Kiddo and Lahoma.
nite.
Found Montag’s blog some months back. Thoughtful posts, but replies were disabled. If memory serves, he has health issues.
Howdy, Nahant!
So far it all seems to be coming together. I was able to obtain a suitable formula of chocolate from my favourite Belgian makers: that is in shipment from US jobber.
I am getting the requisites for shipping: expanded polystyrene, dry ice, and I am filling up the rather complicated waybill (astounding requirements nowadays for shipping with dry ice–as well as everything else these days, alas).
I do not want to freeze the torte, mind, but it is beastly hot here; and in CA also. I just want to keep it from deteriorating.
Out for supplies in the a.m. and then to bake the torte when the chocolate arrives. I’ll get the torte to the shipper Sat. evening.
Thanks for your kind offer to find a way to send me some of that dymanite chilli. I’ll definitely take a rain check. Hopefully many of us will one day be in the same place for a confab.
I’d vote, but the Michigan August 5 primary is all bloody well REPUBLICAN in my district. >_
It’s west michigan, which is sadly the GOP HQ of this state. I like it here, but right now the election signs are making me twitchy. Not one democrat! Although i’ve seen a few Obama bumper stickers, more than McCain ones. So i’ve got a bit of hope for the GE in November.
Catch it, cook it, eat it.
Or don’t go out there with rod, reel or gun.
Life is fuckin simple.
Harumph.
Agreed.
The loss of OK Kiddo and his lovely wife, Lahoma, was a blow also.
I think that they took real umbrage to something they felt to be a slight by a passage in a post and did not get the explanation they would have liked. another loss.
If ya don’t get pissed off being around here once in a while, ya ain’t paying attention. I know I have.
I’m sorry to hear that. He and ET used to kick off some long conversations that would keep me up til the crack of dawn reading along.
In my own experience, there is one egomaniac here who specializes in freezing others out. He has a certain following and is the darling boy for his fans. Unless one gives him fealty, he turns very vicious. Given his profession, he of all people, ought to know better. Maybe Raven had enough of this jerk.
I would certainly be down for that.. I would make a double batch of da chili… that would be 8 gallons.. would need two of my big pots… I went overboard this time … shit I always do …made 4 gallons of chili but won’t bring it all as I would just have to bring it home any ways… But special for Newton I will have a smaller pot with a nice bunch of assorted peppers floating on the top of that batch including the Habernos just to make sure he knows it is HOT:>)
Where?
I got no visuals, but it’s always Merry Clayton. :D
Don’t hurt the newt! /s
Well pups time for me to snuggle with my sweetie… see ya all next late late nite… Sleep well pups when ya get there:>)
I haven’t been around very much lately, my bad.
he will do his own hurting with his own free will but I bet he will have more than one bowl of the chili … it always gets ya and it is hard to stop until there is no place to put any more….ha ha nite pups!!
LMAO!
What in the world are you going to do with 3 and 7/8THS GALLONS OF Seriously HOT chili?
I was talking about you moments before you showed up tonight. Your ears must have been burning.
G’ night nahant
eat it what else??
I step in gently, trying not to offend.
We have cat brush reports? Busted, ES?
You are in the clear! It’s not you I have in mind. We could use a few more of you here, IMO.
He seems to be putting up fewer billboards for his very splendid self. P’raps the management had a chat with him?
Bad penny.
I don’t have to get up in the morning, I have a bottle of Tullamore Dew, a pack of Camel straights, a sense of humor, and a fucking cat that needs a good brushing.
Here Kitty Kitty.
BWAAAHAHAHAHaaaaa.
Hmm.
Verra interesting, cleanth.
I had ‘figured’ from your comments of several days ago, that I might have some notion whom you are describing, but now, I am not so certain.
I assumed (a dangerous pastime, I know) that you were speaking of someone, now um … ‘departed’ as in ‘gone to greener or more receptive pastures’,
yet, it would seem you reference someone still ‘with’ us.
How shall I put this?
There are some posters, or headliners who are, at times, a wee bit ‘excitable’ but I can’t think of any who are not amenable to ‘reason’, eventually or after a fashion …
I guess I shall have to observe more carefully.
In any case, I am glad that you have chosen, regardless, to remain and share your cosmopolitan and compassionate perspective. I was trying to say that the other day but the damned squirrels kept eating my comments.
I guess, generally, that the squirrels give me more of a headache than ‘most anyone I encounter here. You know giving allowance for temperment and emotion …?
;~D
it’s not a brush! it’s a luxury item. *g*
Good night nahant;
Builder of Solar Systems and sound cosmologies …
Indeed.. Montag spent hours one night patiently explaining an economics concept I didn’t get. We finally knocked off about the time Marion arrived with coffee.
Could be mistaken about the health thing – hope I am. Here’s his blog:

Don’t forget the welders gloves!
Citizen Bustedknuckles:
I missed the fallin’ out of oklahoma kiddo but I believe it was in a direct confrontation with Citizen Hamsher and another moderator-type…I went back and tried ta pick it up but it happened when I was gone for a week so I missed it completely. It wasn’t long after that, however, that Raven went down ta the mat with MarkFromIreland and I was gone fer that one too but I pulled up the entire exchange and what was angering and very chilling was that all Raven’s self-defensive responses were censored out – scrubbed clean- so even an accurate history of the interchange couldn’t be captured. I was REALLY angry about what happened ta Raven and began ta realize how some a the featured posters here seem ta be part of a more exclusive club with the bosses…maybe they go out fer lattes and stuff…and the workin staff and moderators seem ta go outta their way ta keep ‘em safe from the “riff raff”.
Sigh…please tell Raven that I’m still workin on gettin a post tagether about the politics of vets’ reintegration into the world to be expressed in the vets’ own words. I am really gettin’ worried that we are seein the same dynamic developin’ in our “progressive” world between the morality of many who have never seen a shot fired in anger and the experiences of those who have been the shooters and shootees. The “holier than thou” moral judgements of someone like MarkfromIreland serve only to insulate those “liberal” individuals from the truth that they share as much responsibility for the horrors of our wars as any grunt in the trenches.
But please let Raven know that we’d all be part of a stronger and healthier community here if he’d come back.
Funny you mentioned that. I don’t need them at the same time but they are kept in the same place. Jessie Yazoo loves that brush, no gloves needed.
ES- kitteh like? I tell busted way back also to brush kitteh against the grain. That get out more cat hair. I need further report! Especially as I discovered the awesome equine cat brush when I went to work (briefly) on the Lamont campaign in CT. Thus, I have a very special attachment to that item. ;)
Oh, I love it that Jessie Yazoo loves that brush! I am so happy!
Now wait just a second there.. Sometimes comments are not visable immediately, but, iirc, Christy checked and said no comments of ravens were permanently removed from that thread. And she can check that with extreme accuracy.
Now if I have my recollections in order.. whatever you read an hour or a day or two later…is all that was said and is all there now.
I missed it as it happened too… and I wish Raven were still around, but I appreciate Siun and MFI as much as anyone. And I don’t think anyone suggested Raven leave. But it’s been a while so I could definitely have a portion of this heading towards my inner gray matter.
Hah! “Round and round in the circle game.”
I fancy that I know who you have in mind. A dinosaur? If so, I like his work very much.
As to my bête noir, I do not want to foment anything on this civilised site, but his profession gives him away. Big clue.
Physician, heal thyself! [Luke 4:23]. I find this commentary apposite to this offending character:
I have always had yer back dude.
Raven and you had some good conversations.
As fer the Riff Raff, LMAO! Who the hell are you talkin to?
Ya, I do think the joint has gone off the edge of “PC”.
Fuck that.I Is what I is, I ain’t apologizing to anyone fer that.
He’s ruined for life now, VG. Spoiled rotten due to that brush.. and I don’t know if that’s a good thing. *g*
Norske;
It is that censoring you describe and the clearly different ‘rules’ for some of the headliners which angers all who have observed these ‘occurrances’.
It may well be that others of us will follow Kiddo and Raven.
I was present when Jane and Kiddo tangled, and I don’t think or feel that it need have come to that point. In fact it should NOT have come to that point. And I think the person responsible knows that.
I did not catch what happened to Raven, but it was clear to me that Raven felt that he had not been treated fairly, but it was not until later, when he was speaking with you, that I began to understand what he felt had happened.
Or get forced out. The very offensive chappie I have in mind definitely is a golden boy here and apparently has the protection of mgt. He has been less in evidence last few days. Dare I hope that he has been taken to the woodshed? No, alas, I daren’t.
Look, I have been around here a good long time, and the Raven vs. Kiddo situations (whatever the right word is) were entirely ENTIRELY different.
I miss Raven.
Look, I have been around here a good long time, and the Raven vs. Kiddo situations (whatever the right word is) were entirely ENTIRELY different.
Different to what?
Different from each other.
Damn system did not differentiate my block quote. Hence, reposting:
Different to what? You leave us with an incomplete comparison.
Got you!
The person is excitable,
But having taken him gently to task, on occassion, along with the help of a distinguished Psychologist who comments here, though less often than I wish she would (truth to tell Laura has a true gift for conscientious reason), I have discovered that his fire-works are often modified utterly when he has cooled to reason and compassion, where ultimately one may always ‘reach’ him.
No offense intended, seriously.
There are about two million blogs out there, Hell, I have one!
If ya got a problem with someone here, take it up with ‘em.
There ain’t no reason to be a feared.
What they gonna do, ban ya?
I am seriously amazed they still put up with my cranky ass!
Yes, Valley Girl, they were entirely different, and I hope I did not suggest otherwise.
Did you witness either or both ‘occurrances’?
I think that he, as so many in his profession, is ill-suited and is batshit-crazy himself when it comes to his insecurities and tendencies to project and rage.
Censorship is a very strong word, imo.
there is no rule book that I am aware of, but, suggestions of violence, ad hominem attacks, serious trolling, the bi or cu words are 99% percent of what need be avoided to keep from causing yourself trouble around here.. not much else.
If I thought anyone here at the lake were heavy handed or even close to it in re censorship, I wouldn’t be here. Be very careful about judging what you cannot see.
With that, I bid you all a good night.
Thanks for another fine evening.
Good night, ES
raven was here for some time after that thread with mfi. if that was why he left it seems that he would stay for some days afterwards and then leave.
i could be wrong, and i’m not saying that it didn’t contribute, but i think it’s a mistake to attribute raven’s departure to that one incident.
norske (or anyone else) – if you have more info than me, please correct me…. thanks.
Gnite ES.
Yer a good man.
i miss kiddo too.
Well, DW, as Click and Clack say: “You’ve wasted another perfectly good hour listening to [us].”
Not wasted on FDL, but the previous two days the late night FDL went on for me until 8 a.m.; the morning posts came on stream and more hours. This place is addictive and I’ve been addicted to it for years.
I have got to get up all too soon to get that torte ready for Suzanne’s party, so I am just about to turn in with my kitties who await me on our bed.
Thanks for your kind words.
I tried discussing it with him, I got the most astoundingly abusive reply, and then he clammed up. He is not available for any demurrers; he is available only for sycophantic praise from his adoring fans.
Well, enough of this.
Selise,
All that he told me was that the last few times he was here, he left feeling angry.
He said he decided it was not worth the effort.
Just my opinion, yer mileage my vary.
I followed in real time the comments that got kiddo kicked out. He had been given several polite warnings about what what was acceptable, and what was not. Among other things, kiddo kept interrupting Book Salon conversations with totally OT stuff. I think he had already been warned, like maybe 10-12 times about this before. I can’t cite chapter and verse on other issues, but he was really pretty recalcitrant to community input from the get go.
As I said, I have been around here a good long time, if someone gets kicked off FDL, it is not done lightly.
As for Raven, no, I didn’t witness whatever the final meltdown was that caused him to leave. MfI has always been a bit of a hothead, and not easily reasoned with. I kinda get the drift that some exchange between those two might have caused Raven to bag it, but I really don’t know.
What we ‘cannot see’ is precisely it.
I did not ’see’ what Raven said happened.
But, so far as I can tell, Raven is not a person given to fabrication, yet I phrased what I said as Raven ‘felt’ this had happened.
I certainly do not ‘know’ for I have not seen the ‘evidence’.
A conundrum.
But I did see what happened to Kiddo.
And I did witness a certain ’statistician’ whose social skills appeared to have left him rather arrogantly insult and belittle any who questioned his conclusions.
My opinion is that the Kiddo ’situation’ and the arrogance were both unfortunate AND unnecessary.
Your opinion might be different.
I know there are several commenters, here, who agree with my assessment, but I hold my opinion even were there none.
“And I did witness a certain ’statistician’ whose social skills appeared to have left him rather arrogantly insult and belittle any who questioned his conclusions.”
yep, I think I know of whom you speak. If I am correct, well, the guy is a total asshole, and I think that the pups pretty much this plain, either in public comments, or comments to the management.
Acceptable for Kiddo?
I did not feel Kiddo was a child to be admonished.
We are presumably adults, and able to understand that opinions are simply that. I will agree that this is Jane’s blog and she can set the ‘rules’.
But those rules are not clear.
It seemed arbitrary to me, more so as a certain player of statistics behaved far beyond the pale, night after night.
A double standard?
Look, you’ve you opinion as I’ve mine.
Is it troubling to you that we don’t agree?
I hope that mutual respect will allow us to gently disagree.
Would that be acceptable to you?
I hope so, Valley Girl, as I respect you and enjoy your perspective very much.
David
Firepup Freedom Fighters:
Anybody got any “puppy stories” ta share? My wife and I jest got a 10 week old Corgi pup as a buddy for our 12 month old West Highland Terrier…what a kick!! Dam if I don’t think those two are reincarnations of the spirits of Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer.
Wisdom suggests that I retire from the field, as me wits are becoming dull and sluggish and daylight is too soon upon me.
Thank you all for a most delightful and instructive evening.
“Good night and good luck” (as Edward R. used to say).
Shit.
I certainly didn’t mean to throw the topic of this post out in the weeds.
It does happen though.
Even though this doesn’t “Do It” for me, I still find it strangely hypnotic and generally greatly conducive to mindlessly staring at a computer screen.
Good nite you fine people, enjoy.
David, not a problem.
I think it’s very important that FDL commenters are able to discuss their different opinions publicly in threads. And, thrash it out. I have always thought that this was one of the strengths of FDL.
And, fwiw, I was one of the first mods at FDL (that was way WAY back) and I always took the attitude that I would stand back, and let people have their say. I was never into trying to control the conversation, or to sanitize it. So, of course, I have no problem with you not agreeing with me. Again, I really think that that is how FDL should be.
I was not party to any of the emails that Jane sent Kiddo, tho I gathered from the time of the meltdown, that she had sent him several telling him what her ground rules were for him in particular, and she publicly said at that time that she hoped he would stick around.
That’s all I got! ;)
Norske,
Our new dog was found at the pound, real skinny and just a few months old. A beagle/terrier mix, we were told.
Whatever the mix is, she’s the most loving dog!
“Kisses” is the one command she knew (I think the dog warden taught her that).
i’m very, very sorry to hear that because i think the very last thread raven participated in was one where he was angry with me. if you communicate with him again i’d be grateful if you told him that i miss him and that if i did anything to contribute to him not returning, i am very sorry.
i followed that thread in real time too. it was not a book salon thread. and what what said to him (and to the rest of us) was, imo, 100x worse than anything i’ve ever seen from kiddo. just thinking about that day now still makes me feel sick.
Selise! Hello!
I’m not sure from your comment above who the “he/him” was. Can you clarify?
Mornin’, pups. -
What y’all got planned for the day?
sorry, he = kiddo.
i need some of this:
just joking – fruit flies with extra copies of dopamine receptor gene.
i should clean house.
which means i’m looking for something else that needs to get done. *g*
Selise! wow, thanks for that great link. I will have to go check it out.
And, on that note, I really have to crash!
nite vg.
Gonna be wishing for some of those fruit fly genes today b/c it’s been a no-sleep night. :-(
good luck…. and hope you get a chance to catch up on the sleep soon.
Citizen selise:
You are correct that Brother Raven was here for awhile after the incident with MFI and I was very worried for those few days after I got back that when I spoke with ‘im he seemed ta be jest driftin’ further away from us…I felt aweful for not bein there when he took the shit from MFI. There is a small “brotherhood” here on FDL that is not identified by much except the desire ta get behind anyone of the group that is gettin’ hammered unfairly, and I wasn’t here ta get Raven’s back and I will always feel responsible somehow…it’s like fallin asleep on guard duty.
As for any exchange you had with Raven, I am certain it wasn’t in any way contributing to his leaving…he was movin in that direction for some time. I will say, however, that what MarkFromIreland was allowed to get away with that day without any support from the moderators or the site bosses leaves a hole in my heart. I lost all respect for MFI after that…and yes, according to Raven, his comments were consored or “moderated” at the time of posting and when I went back and revisited the incident, all Raven’s responses were gone but from what I could tell, MarkFrom Ireland was allowed ta define the debate. That was, in my opinion, the lowest point in FDL history since I been here.
And for what it is worth, the moral purity and holier than thou morality that people like MFI need to wear around their politics is the most dangerous phychological defense mechanism that those who experience war can use to elevate themselves above the terrible reality that no one is “innocent” in war. MarkFromIreland is a moral coward and a bully who needs to mainain his precarious grip on sanity at the expense of anyone else who threatens to expose the terrible truth that we (US citizens in particular but Europeans in general also)are ALL responsible for war.
Keep the faith Citizen Selise and don’t feel responsible for Raven’s pain…it was there a long time before he encountered you.
well, the thing is norkse, in addition to being in what i think was the last thread that raven participated in here… i was also in the mfi thread real time. i have a lot of sympathy for mfi and i was surprised by how people took his comments. i’m pretty sure that my defense of mfi pissed off more than one person.
i thought raven and i were ok with it because we discussed it the next day… but maybe not.
and i still don’t get the anger directed at mfi. sometime, if you are willing, maybe you could try to explain to this dense pup? because i do think that there are some innocents in war.
Good morning, pups. The heavens have smiled on us today — La Collins is off. Bob Herbert writes about “Running While Black,” and says the racial fantasy factor in this presidential campaign is out of control. He’s
a tad crosspissed.http://mgpaquin.wordpress.com/
The coffee and tea are ready, and I’ve got waffles with Vermont maple syrup to share. I’ve got to go out and fill the bird feeders now, or the clouds of little finches, along with the cardinals, doves and mockingbirds, may take it into their hungry little heads to go all Hitchcock on us. Have a great day.
Citizen selise:
Blees yer pur heart, Citizen Selise but I’m jest about done with the shift and my eyeballs look like a topographical map a Georgia so I won’t bother ya with an attempt ta explain why many of us who are vets don’t have any time for MFI anymore. Suffice it to say that there is a general feelin’ among vets that no one who hasn’t been there can possibly understand the experience of war…there it is and that is why, no matter yer politics, you NEVER elevate yerOWN self above anyone else who has been there because war is the great equalizer…those who, like MFI, raise themselves above others who have experienced war and impose an arbitrary set of moral standards on the experiences of those others…well, they expose a weakness in their own moral structure, they need to demand their own moral innocence at the expense of all others who are then “war criminals”. That’s why MFI is a moral coward and an intellectual bully…but there will be a reconing for him, when he will sit down face to face with his own soul and won’t have the safety of others guilt to distract ‘im from his own.
Oh, there I go…sorry, we ken have this conversation again sometime…I hope maybe I ken get some a the other vets to put that post on the politics of repatriation for war vets.
Yeah, Herbert blew that one outta the water……too bad the village and the pundits don’t read the sane writers; it’s modo and collins who get the quotes. :-( And speaking of writers, what the spit has klein been drinkin’ lately?
The kool-aid supply must have run short in his neighborhood.
Here’s hoping that kool-ade vanishes, never to be heard from again. (Actually, that’s not a bad idea — I loathed the stuff even when I was a kid!)
thanks norske. that’s not how i see it, but hope to have that conversation some day. appreciate you trying explain even if i’m too dense to get it.
Good Morning everyone. There’s good news in this house. My son (second born)has landed himself a decent job. It’s not the best pay but it’s with a wonderful company where there’s lots of room for advancement. He’ll get health ins, retirement acct…..the works. If he does well, he can stay with this company forever. Two down, one still in college.
Congratulations. That’s really good news.
Is anyone else having connection problems? Can’t get to some sites. One example is pollster.com. The pollster.com screen comes up, then a box pops up saying “Internet Explorer cannot open the internet site (site name). Operation Aborted”. I don’t know what’s going on but there are a few that I can’t open.
I had that problem with FDL & rawstory last night. Still happening with rawstory this morning. Someone gave me an explanation, but I don’t remember what it was.
If you take the time to read all of this, you’ll see that GHW Bush, “Poppy,” has actually been running the entire globalist operation for decades. The CIA is running the show, which explains how an idiot can be President. His job is to stay out of their way.

*There* you are; was hopin’ we’d cross paths just so I could ask your opinion of the NY governor? Inquiring b/c he was on that one-hour press thing (gad! talk about dead gray cells) within the last several days. Listened with only half an ear (as usual) but was bowled over by his apparent command of stats and then nicely snarky short responses to some in the Q. session.
Something about Sitemeter going fubar…..see C&L.
The “Suicided” Anthrax scientist in the news yesterday requires that you review the Rumsfeld/Cheney link to past CIA/DOD use of Anthrax inside the US – and how the CIA kills its own – by “suicide.”
ANTHRAX in 1975 – and Cheney & Rumsfeld are in the midst of it:
Did he jump or was he pushed?
I am writing this from Frederick, Maryland. I’ve just been filming, for Channel 4, a press conference in which the son of a CIA officer who died in suspicious circumstances presented his evidence that vice-president Dick Cheney and defence secretary Donald Rumsfeld were, in 1975, when part of the Gerald Ford administration, involved in a cover-up of the events surrounding his father’s death.

I don’t have an opinion on NYS governor yet (unlike Spitzer who I thought was a disaster waiting to happen, as it turned out he was). Paterson got kudoes upon taking office for his great personality & ability to play well with others, then immediately revealed his extramarital affairs, which put me off. (Geez, why can’t these guys keep their pants zipped. Don’t answer that.) But as for what he’s done, not a lot of evidence so far.

whoever PMFarley is, they are damn sharp and talented.
i will watch for more now very closely.
thank you PMF, and thank you ES for posting it.
a bloody masterpiece.
Oh fer crying out loud. I mean I’m no fan of Pres. Bush – but what exactly are they insinuating here?
G H W Bush was involved in the Kennedy assassination? Are you insane?
WTC 7 was “pulled” rather than destroyed by damage from the attack by Al Qaeda? Give me a break.
You got some evidence, pal – you should put it out there. Making a music video and spewing innuendo doesn’t help anyone.
Eureka: We were in Eureka Springs a few weeks ago, and the kids got their pictures taken with a monkey on their shoulders. The “monkey man” was standing outside Basin Park with his pet monkey, April. She would take your money, put it in the bucket and sit on your shoulder for the picture.
Bush is an insult to monkeys everywhere.
Hey, muleboy, nice to see you stopped by.
I make no insinuations… beyond rock and roll and monkeying around with George.. You might want to leave your questions on the maker of the youtubes page and see what they say.
Feel free to stop in and let us know what you found out.
i started using Google reader a few weeks ago, so now i catch things after they happen instead of surfing three dozen sites for umpteen hours a day.
has saved a ton of wear and tear on my eyeballs, but at a cost.
p.s. is it just me, or do the Rolling Stones sound best when you’re really pissed off?
