When the tide came up at 2 AM yesterday I was able to lauch the row boat after loading Blackjack and rowed under thin lite fog moonlight by a on very calm waters to the far shore 2 miles where Blackjack is laid to rest under a purple Navajo blanket with a God’s eye and ubder native plants CVhumash style. The site is abutting the South end of Morro Bay looking North to the Morro Bay Rock. We spent many hours tearing aroung the bay I rowed and he ran joyfully sniffing along fulfilling his sacred instincts. Somedays 10 miles and he would always outrun me and I would yell out the stop stay lie down commands. He would play along and let me catch up then wax me again. When we got down to the South end he would swim across to the sand spit which separates the bay from the ocean.
We are one spirit and I have his with me. We explored the watershed together but favoured around the bay. He caught a deer trail one day and was long gone I went home and the answering machine had a message…come get Blackjack he is here at the Marina. A one mile swim. His range was amazing. I can look in any direction and have a happy memory spring up. One day we hiked up the South side of a a local peak Hollister (google earth). It was geting late we had about 7 or 8 miles to go and home was due West over a steep precipice so I rapelled him down to the bottom ledge by ledge. when we got home we had a lot of tick to remove. He managed the drop very cleverly. Anyway his body is under the sands of Los Osos. When he was older he got rowed acroos the bay and we would hike or run to the ocean.
We will have his ceremony soon.
My cousins widow left a message that she to was in pain as it was the same day of his passing three years ago. I used to give him and his sister baths when they were tyke. Strange and full of wonder. We klnow what a beautiful planet.

1,715 DAYZ AND THE KILLIN’ GOEZ ON AND ON AND…

Citizen Cujo:

NPR (National Petrolium Radio) is completely brankrupt - intellectually, morally politically, journaistically…any way ya look at or listen to it. The fact that “…Bedfellows” is gettin’ some exposure shows how a coalition of “strangers” ken confuse the poor shills in the corporate newsrooms and while they think they are drivin a wedge in the Democratic majority they are simply helpin’ the “purge”…the fascists have “the surge” and we have “the purge”…look out Hoyer, yer the grand prize in next year’s “purge party”.

KEEP THE FAITH AND PASS THE AMMUNITION, THE STRUGGLE IS NEVER OVER!!!

Per Thomas Edsall at HuffPo:

Sheldon Adelson, the 72-year-old casino billionaire who has become the third richest man in America and who has strong ties to the hard-line Likud Party in Israel, has emerged this year a major benefactor of the American right. Past evidence suggests that Adelson will capitalize on his ascent to the top of the Republican money elite to try to build opposition in America to any Middle East peace settlement calling for the division of Israel into two states, one Jewish, the other Palestinian.

Clueful people are starting to get the picture that Pelosi should be standing trial at the Hague for failure to exercise the responsibility of her office under the Constitution of the United States of America to prevent via impeachment presidential criminality, which in this case involves war crimes and crimes against humanity, which are International Crimes to which the doctrine of Universal Jurisdiction applies.

She and the rest of the Villagers think that U.S. politics is a pre-adolescent game, Lord of the Flies. The Adults Are Now Coming.

And don’t anyone dare call the adults arrival “the criminalization of politics and policy disputes.” It is the perpetrators who have criminalized poltics. It is the prosecutors who will turn that situation around.

Can anybody tell me why Pelosi wasn’t booed out of the hall a netroots?
There are reasons to be polite and hear someone out. And she triggers none of them. Not one. Beneath contempt, and now she has a real shithouse rat on board.

from the link - our jane:

“I’m very upset with my party right now,” Hamsher says. “They were given the majority, and they have a 9 percent approval rating right now for a reason.”

And, let’s not forget that this Democratic Congress has a lower approval rating with Democrats than it has with Republicans. And, that too is “for a reason.”
