Barack Obama was in Germany – giving a speech to an estimated 215,000 screaming and cheering and American Flag waving Germans.

John McCain was at a ‘German sausage haus’ in Ohio talking to a crowd of SIX men who apparently came there for the food, not to hear McSlime give a speech. McCain had a sausage and saurkraut for lunch and took a chocolate cream puff to go saying he wanted one of those traditional German desserts.

Just trying to catch up on news for the day, and despite hearing some CNN radio cut-ins, and talking with people all day, I didn’t hear hardly a mention about Obama’s Berlin speech. One of the news cut-in mentioned the speech near the end in a passing fashion, and said, “Thousands turned out in Berlin today…”

The turn out and response all through Europe is freakin unheard of for a Prez candidate, and possibly even Prez. Any reasonable news writer would say, “Over 200,000 showed up…” or “Hundreds of thousands…” The anti-Obama/McSame fluffing in the Conglomerate Press is worse than I even imagined it would be.

Was the speech covered much in the Conglomerate Media, and I just missed it?

I read the transcript of that speech, but i think i’m going to watch it at some point in the next day or so.

I’m finally feeling human again after i strained my lower back and right shoulder somehow sunday night. I went to see the Doc on wed, and i’ve been using the muscle relaxers since. Egads its’ good to feel human again. Still achey and the lower back is still griping at me, but it’s improving. I get one more major day of rest and then i have to work again on saturday. But at least i’m feeling better! Now i just need to get away from this apartment for a while. Two weeks till my minivacation. XD

We’re startin’ ta see the explosion of “polling” data through the corporate “news” outlets that live off horse race election coverage and political advertising. Late night I saw two polls on “Hardball(s)” that indicated that McCrazy was tightening the race nationally and in Minnesota. The Quinepac Poll that was shown must be done on Mars ‘cuz I live in the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul area (western WI) and Obama is at least 15 points over McCrazy and he hasn’t topped out yet.

IMHO if McCrazy garners over 30% of the vote with Bob Barr and Nadar in the race then there should be a criminal investigation. We can not allow the corporate shills to create the impression that this election is close enough to steal, because if they succeed then it WILL be stolen.

NPR (National Petrolium Radio) had a report from a correspondent that took Obama to task because he said he was appearing as a “citizen” and clearly he was appearing as a national political candidate. Even the token “journalist” on MSNBC, Chris Clizza from the WaPo, pondered whether er not it would help Obama with Americans to be seen as popular with the Europeans. JEEzus H. keeRIST on a fuckin’ crutch, where do they get these people??!!

When the tide came up at 2 AM yesterday I was able to lauch the row boat after loading Blackjack and rowed under thin lite fog moonlight by a on very calm waters to the far shore 2 miles where Blackjack is laid to rest under a purple Navajo blanket with a God’s eye and ubder native plants CVhumash style. The site is abutting the South end of Morro Bay looking North to the Morro Bay Rock. We spent many hours tearing aroung the bay I rowed and he ran joyfully sniffing along fulfilling his sacred instincts. Somedays 10 miles and he would always outrun me and I would yell out the stop stay lie down commands. He would play along and let me catch up then wax me again. When we got down to the South end he would swim across to the sand spit which separates the bay from the ocean.
We are one spirit and I have his with me. We explored the watershed together but favoured around the bay. He caught a deer trail one day and was long gone I went home and the answering machine had a message…come get Blackjack he is here at the Marina. A one mile swim. His range was amazing. I can look in any direction and have a happy memory spring up. One day we hiked up the South side of a a local peak Hollister (google earth). It was geting late we had about 7 or 8 miles to go and home was due West over a steep precipice so I rapelled him down to the bottom ledge by ledge. when we got home we had a lot of tick to remove. He managed the drop very cleverly. Anyway his body is under the sands of Los Osos.When he was older he got rowed acroos the bay and we would hike or run to the ocean.
We will have his ceremony soon.
My cousins widow left a message that she to was in pain as it was the same day of his passing three years ago. I used to give him and his sister baths when they were tyke. Strange and full of wonder. We klnow what a beautiful planet.
