Golly, why'd we want one of those after all these years of the inspiring words of George W. Bush?
Reading the teleprompter before the Lime Jell-o background just does not compare.

W didn’t write this. He is not capable. Nice try, though.
Good morning Loo Hoo!
Hey, Mr. Cbl!
Have come to the inescapable conclusion that we the people deserve a President that can at least string together a coherent sentence. Not another blithering fucking idiot like McSurge. Just saying….
Thanks for the post, Attaturk.
It appears to have been written by Obama: style, signature, time, and place.
A certain segment of the electorate doesn’t realize that Forest Gump was fiction.
Yeah, I thought the signature line made that rather apparent.
The first line gives it away, because Obama was at Yad Vashem this past week. But the signature line cinches it, though I can’t make out anything but the B and the O.
McCain is so close to Bush in level of stupidity that it is terrifying. In addition to stupid and inarticulate, like Bush, McCain is also senile. He’s all but drooling on himself. He has no idea in the afternoon what his position on anything was in the morning. This whole situation would be hysterically funny if it weren’t so pathetic and mortifyingly real. God help us; that jackass is withing six percentage points of the presidency.
It sure did.
I don’t know. Look more closely at the kerning. And I don’t think that typewriter font existed before July 24, 2008.
You Obamabots are so predictable.
Just because BO goes abroad, is able to talk with numerous
foreign leaders and is well received without
the assiastance of cheat cards, brain implants or gaffes,
means that he walks on water.
Sheesh.
Oh, yeah,
ReverandWrightReverandWrightReverandWrightReverandWrightReverandWright
That’s exactly what Sean Hannity would say.
It will be so nice to have a president who can form sentences and one who will not have to reboot his teleprompter every 5 minutes to talk to the American people and the world. *sigh*
Good morning, pups. It’s Cohen, Egan and Kristof today. Gail Collins is off today, and we’ll just have to be strong and soldier on as best we can… Roger Cohen writes about “Karadzic and War’s Lessons,” and says justice is important for Bosnia and for amnesia-afflicted Serbia with its everyone-was-guilty evasiveness. But justice won’t change the faces brought back to me now across the years. Timothy Egan’s column is titled “The Oil Man Cometh,” and he point out that “totally misleading” is the way T. Boone Pickens describes Republican attempts to convince the public that if we opened up more areas to oil drilling then gas prices would fall. Nicholas Kristof ponders “Tough Love for Israel,” and says Barack Obama gave ritual affirmations of his support for Israeli policy, but what Israel needs from America isn’t more love, but tougher love.

The coffee and tea are ready, and I’ve got some lemon poppyseed muffins today. Today’s task is taking the 17 year old diabetic kitteh to the vet to get her blood sugar checked. She objects to this process, and uses some of the most amazing language… Have a good day.
Mornin’, Rev -
CNN just showing mcbush 3.0 being attacked by cans of falling applesauce in a grocery store…….that piece of tape won’t see the light of day again. *g*
*giving Marion’s kitty some confidence hugs* ;-)
Ahhhhh yes, a flash back this morning to Georgie’s invasion checklist:
http://www.davidrisstrom.org/P.....cklist.jpg
that’s a classic, never saw that one before, thanks Kay.
And gee Attaturk, why would we want an inspiring speaker to lead us, when we can have four more years of the same kindda gobbledygook we’ve all come to know and love. Sheesh, the very idea.
…and lmao Waccamaw
G’Morning everyone
Jake Tapper’s on GMA being catty about Obama’s trip.
Just saw Scarborough defending McCain’s assertion that the Sunni awakening that started late summer 06 was enabled by the surge which was announced Jan 07. Is a frontal lobodomy and option?
Morning pups. Like just about everyone else, I’m sipping my coffee and waiting for the big speech at the Siegesaule.
There’s a nice diary over at the orange Satan on the implications of a Black man being elected president. Worth a read.
Hi, Elliott -
Barney’s on C-Span at 7:30; I do love that man!
Who cares about eloquence, Republicans are serious about retaining American jobs and keeping us safe from dangerous foriegners,
http://www.reuters.com/article.....3520080724
I love watching them backtrack to make themselves feel better after making asses out of themselves. There are days when I watch Joe in the morning and I see him upset with Mika for having an opinion that is opposite of his. He gets that look in his eyes that says, “That’s it. I’m pissed. When I leave the show this morning I’m going back to my office to strangle my intern!”.
He scares me.
The surge was “Miracle Grow” for the awakening is the way they put it. Not sure if that is correct since most of the surge troops were in Baghdad, but regardless, that’s not what McCain said.
And, yes Attaturk, I would like an eloquent president.
oo thanks for reminding me, I’m fluttering around the web catching up on last night:
here’s the lineup for Washington Journal
I wish the radio version was available, it gives so much more information:
7:30am - Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA), Financial Services Cmte., Chairman
8am - Daniel Golden, Portfolio Magazine, Senior Editor | Article
8:45am - Rep. Tom Petri (WI), Aviation Subcmte. Ranking Member
9:15am - Newspaper Articles & Viewer Calls
9:15am - Phoner From Berlin: Markus Feldenkirchen, Der Spiegel (Magazine), Editor
jo scar is the most unapologetic, out front, in your face republican tool on tv. KO last night called it the secret surge. Before the surge. McSurge trying to explain it away is painful to watch. He, McSurge, truly is not very bright and forced to answer questions is as inarticulate as they come.
Go on - and I suppose all those Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurants are fake too?
OT for a bit. Are you all aware that O’Reilly has set his sights on Rep. Wexler (one of my faves). BOR is ambushing him at his home, reporting that the FBI is investigating him and claiming that Wexler is committing ‘residence fraud’. Going after him big time. I’m thinking that that deserves a massive wave of donations to Wexler. But it needs a diary to kick it off. Anyone up to it?
9:15am - Phoner From Berlin: Markus Feldenkirchen, Der Spiegel (Magazine), Editor
Hmmmmmm…..questions for *that* one could prove interesting (provided a non-nutjob gets thru on the phone lines). *g*
Gotta head out for errands. Y’all have a good day.
Yeah, I heard McCain. As I understood it, he’s now saying that “the surge” is a comprehensive term which includes anything related to any reduction in violence in Iraq. It apparently began when the first Sunni got pissed at the first foreign fighter. Finally, he appears to conclude that anyone who doesn’t grasp that concept is too naive, arrogant, ignorant, cowardly, popular with foreigners, and black to be president.
Good luck and let’s hope her blood sugar is stable. Been through this with two.
Yes and he supported this “strategy” before he was informed about it in Dec 06.
Yes, “surge” begins at conception.
so, are the thugs really going to run mccain? He seems so clearly roadkill … unless diebold rides to the rescue …
I’ve been saying for awhile now that the republics are going to pull a rabbit out of the hat sometime this year. They’ll pull out a Newty/Jeb Bush ticket or something similar and they’ll do it a month or so before the election takes place. Diebold will save the day whether it’s Johnny McTeleprompter on the ticket or another bunch of neocons, because really if you think about it, republicans cannot win this year’s presidential election without stealing it because the American people pretty much despise them right now.
“going to run” is future tense
Just saw Scarborough….Is a frontal lobotomy an option?
I’d say that the jury’s still out on whether he’s already had one.
Maybe Bobby Jindal can be called in for an exorcism.
Still, though, hang on to your garlic, crucifixes, and wooden stakes - that’s some powerful Stoopid.
How many states still use e-voting?
It was a “psychological surge” - that first Sunni sheik simply had to believe the surge might occur to believe that he was suddenly protected from the foreign fighters
…and the wanna-be Al Qaida guys suddenly realized that they had to reduce the conflict…because of the surge. Of course, violence went up after the surge started in areas where we had troops…but that was because of, because of…well “psychology”!
I wonder if Bush/McCain tried to convince Merkel to schedule Obama’s speech at the Nuremberg Rally grounds? Hundreds of thousands of Germans chanting “O-Ba-Ma! O-Ba-Ma!” would be easy to put in a McCain ad.
After all, he’s already used pro-Obama chants to imply a lynch mob trying to hunt Obama down for raising gas prices!
I’ll bet the home and business owners in Texas won’t have to wait very long for FEMA to hand out gold credit cards for repairs, temporary shelter, etc. Except those that are brown people, of course. Can’t have that.
That is why he will be forever known as Joe “Theres Another Dead Girl In
Your Office” Scarborough… he flashes over real quick.
New post upstairs…
Morning All :)
Sorry to go OT already ( I know, it’s me again!).
Some-one put this up a couple of threads ago, sorry missed the name :(, but
I’m going to put it up again for those who may have missed it…
Dennis Kucinich truly is an American Patriot…
Rep. Kucinich: ‘Thanks to you, impeachment will be heard Friday’
http://www.democraticundergrou.....215;160100
yes, i remember you predicting this. I just wasn’t expecting mcsame to melt down so completely this early.
I don’t know but it scares me to think about it. Here in Maine we still use paper ballots with a permanent black magic marker.
Merkwurdiglieber, yep. He has the Dead Intern hanging over his head and will forever. ;-)
Lee5, I think McTeleprompter’s meltdown is in part because he’s shocked to be the republic nominee. He’s been melting down since that time and now he can’t keep up with himself, let alone, the rest of our nation or the world. The republics will find a reason to pull him off the stage. I hope it’s not brutal. LOL
Love, love, love Dennis Kucinich and those ears of his! He is a Patriot. ;-)
Okay, going to work. Have a great day everyone!
Based on that ad, I expect them to use some already available Leni Riefenstahl film. For those with whom the adds are effective, everything is black and white anyway.
”It is a revolution in itself that Australia should now have a Mandarin-speaking Prime Minister - with the United States looking forward to having an English-speaking one,” Mr Whitlam said.
More detail: http://www.theage.com.au/natio.....-3dsr.html
wait till bill-o has the handwriting analyzed….
I foresee McCain ‘mysteriously’ having a heart attack and having to withdraw…
Yeah, it’s the words with Obama - it’s always been the words. Never mind that his Israel-Palestine position will do nothing to move things forward as it’s the same old shit. Oh but at least he’ll have pretty words as we continue our drain circling.
Did you see the way he wrote the date? day first, then month. Just like the other elitist European snobs instead of the good ol’ American style July 23. How unpatriotic. No wonder he can’t wear a flag pin. It’d probably sear his flesh like crosses and vampires.
Of course the US military also writes dates like that. Yeah, he’s trying to pretend that he is a vet, that he’s just as good as our glorious fighting men. He hasn’t earned the right to write dates like that. Not like the Republican candidate who wrote dates like that every day for five long years in a prisoner-of-war camp.
gee. i do wish u’d space out all those positive thots just a tad.
u’re apt to rock the boat. or perhaps u git yer kicks from capsizing life rafts.
fool that i am, i’m delighted with Obama’s trip and how he’s been received overseas, & i started out rooting for Dodd or Edwards.
suggest u swallow some of that bile and admit it, he’s quite possibly got some considerable potential for doing a dandy job in office, whether u like ‘im or not.
/s
There. Fixed that for ya.
mebbe just a bidness reversal, requiring his immediate attention, plus a desire for more time with the family.
lifelite concern. eh?And then it turns out that, per Sam Stein at HuffPo:
Hey Stratocruiser, you havin’ fun over at the Charlie Daniels board for the illiterate?
I’m banned now, but I read your stuff. :-D They really are the 22 percenters over there.
That guy, it’s a thankless task and I’m not sure why I continue to do it. Perhaps some sort of missionary instinct. Maybe it is a symptom of how much I want to teach and that is a great pool of people who need someone to enlighten them
I do continue to be amazed at what passes for thought over there, and spelling, punctuation, grammer, wit, manners, research, christianity…
They do suspect the 22 percenters of harboring dangerously left-leaning sentiments.
Maybe the Repubs are now using McSame to run all of the talking points they think might work against Obama by the voters as early as possible, then, if they all fail and he continues to slip, they will see to it that he somehow cannot continue.
