No, you guys at FDL have already proven how craven the man is.

He is doubling down on getting a cabinet post with a President McCain, since he’s going to be losing that Homeland Security Chairmanship this January regardless of what happens. Lieberman is just as much of a surrogate as Fiorina or Phil Gramm are.

The common thread in these actions by Chalabi is that they serve Iran’s interests.

Get U.S. to invade Iraq and overthrow sworn enemy (of Iran) Sadam Hussien? Check.

Get U.S. to end the occupation of Iraq leaving an Iranian Shiite ally in charge? Check.

I remember some news stories a couple of years ago to the effect that Chalabi was considered by some to be an Iranian agent. Then, mysteriously, he got rehabilitated. Funny, that.
