We’ve had some indication of that in the past few months with the addition of not only EW’s blog, blue america and the book salon, but also tbogg, schecter, flanders, and attackerman.

What I would like to see is more/better Late Night. The chatty, anything goes mode of Late Night is good for building a sense of community, but why not run that 24/7 on a parallel track, and have more substance for us Pacific Rim folks in the late hours when we’re finally home from work?

Also minor stuff I’d like to get back:
* the little thingy down near the response box that tells us when there’s a new post up top (I get marooned down in EPU-ville frequently, blissfully unaware of new posts);

*automatic updating of the space at the top and bottom with links to the previous and next posts on the blog;
