Hi, Suzanne~~~~~~~~~
I can’t believe it, it’s now the 14th inning!
hi dearie how are you tonight
Is anybody going to ask me how my job started out this week?????
who’s winning ct?
i didn’t wanna pry
so dish, girlfriend, dish!
It’s still tied at 3 all…!
I am, I am! How was it to be employed by a new group? Hope all went well and that you are feeling excellent!
OK band..down to earth How’s Token?
And I don’t mean ‘excellently’ — I mean ‘excellent’!
snoring while laying on his back with his legs spread as if there was something to be proud of there instead of nothing but air – how’s bj
demi, i remember it but don’t recall the details
Btw, I was finally notified as to my eye exam for the job… I almost wrote ‘em off… 8-)
Token knows something is up with all the packing.
Ok. I designed the first site. The company wanted to see if I could handle the client and make sure I knew how to do the deal. So I turned in the comps for the first site (emailed to the owner). In five minutes he called me and gave me a 50% raise and another job to do. I am a happy girl tonight.
the doors cd (or cassette or 8track depending on era) morrison hotel/hard rock cafe

Awesome, Mary!
No doubt
Blackjack had a good day and some fun. Eating organic hamburger and turkey burger, Hay ah hay ah hay!
woohoo – so when will ya know?
Thanks for asking, Suzanne. I’m okay. Dr. Kirk kind of beat up on me and suggested that I was a racist/nativist for the opinions I shared on the non-legal immigration threads. I was trying to share info. My Mexican immigrant friends get it. I’m okay. But, wow, FDL can get rather ‘heated’, dontcha know!
WOW!!! Congrats.
We are so close to the edge financially. But something in me said things were going to be ok. I decided not to worry anymore about a month ago.
Hurray!!!
Yippee!!
WELL……..
yeap, is why we try to keep the discourse civil
its not always successful
Getten closer EH?
Colngrats!
31st of July I go for the exam, after that it would be only a few days… Aargh, on to the 15th inning…!
Digg here courtesy of tbsa
Sometimes people misinterpret what others are saying. I think this wouldn’t happen if we were all sitting in a room together. Now that is a scary thought.
Good evening Suzanne!
Dedicated to demi and LooHoo, from last thread:
Radar Love.
Go Mary!
Cool AND MORE $$$$ Way COOL Mary
thanks neuro and thanks for opening it
Congrats MM http://www.clih.net is one of mine that needs upgrading…lost my site manager for it and http://www.case-environmental.org if you can manage sites for some moonlighting. My email is abarrow at sbcglobal dot net until charter changes me over.
What Happened Neuro… I don’t Digg and you let someone else do your JOB???
OH yeah for all those pups that missed it last week:

4th Amendment Hit Squad from http://www.bluetidalwave.com/2…..-list.html
On Wednesday July 9, 2008 our U.S. Constitution, specifically the 4th amendment was officially torched by the U.S. government. The Democratic leadership in control of the 110th Congress lighted the definitive match to burn up every citizen’s civil liberties while a giddy unpopular President George Bush and his highly voter despised rubber stamp Republican caucus held the gas can in bravado glee.
The world would be a better place if Bush was as an effective leader of the globe as he is at whipping the Congressional Democrats in legislative battles.
Twenty One Senate Democrats voted to give final approval today to broadening the government’s spy powers and providing legal immunity for the phone companies that took part in the illegal Bush wiretapping program.
Thanks! cool. Sounds so familiar…
that was tbsa, who I sometimes see in Diggland. Does tbsa ever comment here?
Yeah, that discussion did get a little heated.
Details aren’t important. And, bless you dearest Suz…
Well, She and I are writing again. Doing our sweartogodlastpass and resubmitting to [a big name] at a [big studio]. Oh, Lord. What am I getting myself in to?
As I told my partner the other night, even if it doesn’t sell, it’s still a bitchin’ trip.
She insists that it will.
All the time.
Thanks Ron.
I’m hitting the hay now.
Think I’ll dream of fast cars and Hot Music.
Radar Love. The only good kind. Ha!
sorry for not recognizing you as a commenter!
DAm CT that’s the day I go to Stanford for the day and get to find out if my mind is OK to get a transplant… the little lady has to be with me at all the get together’s… Good luck I know I will need it!!
Hell yes! Good for you! Seize every opportunity!
You never know. The worst thing that can happen is nothing, so there’s everything to gain and nothing to lose, even if it’s just the joy of creating.
See 41
g’ntie demi
Ya need a new mind…? ;-)
‘night, demi.
We’ve got a wave in the air.
No worries.
I did, indeed. I have a perspective different than you do, Dearie. I teach the little scamps. They are so eager to learn, but yes, it is more difficult for kids to do well on standardized tests if they know Spanish better than they do Engish.
I’m serving (far as I can tell) first generation Americans, meaning their parents came here to start their lives. You cannot believe how respectful and concerned about their childs’ education these parents are. If I had even 1/3 of the interest from the other parents, I would be delighted.
Congrats, mary – woot!
Good nite Suz, Ron and everyone.
Creation force is good. Keeps me out of trouble. heh, heh.
Nah they are just checking to see if it is really there… need a liver… by the way dinner was great and the chef kept the grand kids enthralled as he cooked the meal for all of us..
I have a friend who was on the waiting list for a liver at UCSF. The shrink decided that he had started to drink and was questioning if he was a good candidate. My friend is a graphic designer. He decided to move to Sacramento. He got his chart from UCSF and photoshopped out all of the negative remarks about his “problem”. Then he went to UC Davis and got the transplant. That was five or six years ago. He is fine and still doesn’t drink. I really admire him.
Best possible wishes.
Oh, and one more thingy…
Congratulations to Mary Mc. Woo Hoo for you.
A page has turned.
nahant, I’m sure you’ll pass with flying
colorsink blots. But good luck, all the same.Thanks. Sure feels that way. Everyone in my family is doing well.
I’ve always enjoyed their wizardry…! Good luck, nahant…!
I used to do transplant psych – that’s one of the funniest stories I’ve ever read. Congrats to your friend for their resourcefulness (and survival)!
I had my last beer in August and thanks to Loo Hoo and Kirk…. but they might still want me to go to AAA.. hope not but if I must… took all their online evaluations and I didn’t come close to having a problem… but with these stick ones ya just don’t know..
fingers and toes crossed for ya nahant
Nothing wrong with passionate debate, it’s almost like exercise. I continuously prod my right-wing dispatcher who is an undying aficianado (sp?) of faux news. Every year in early October since ‘01, when I predicted we would not win in Afghanistan, and she looked at me like I was completely insane, I give a recount of events and virtually demand her to never question my judgment on any matter of importance.
Do I yearn for failure? No. Do I understand history and Republicans? Yes.
Sometimes that is all you need.
:) Really good to hear that.
Finally…..! The AL pulls it out in the bottom of the 15th… 4-3…! My Bosox will have home field for the World Series…! ;-)
Off to dream of a world where all of our organs worked as well as we needed them to – and our pols worked for us. Good dreams to all.
Thanks to all my online family I know I have lots of support…it also doesn’t hurt to have a sister who is a transplant case worker back in Boston at Tufts… she will be my long distance liaison with the folks at Stanford..
which ones are those in relation to the giants/a’s? i always get confused at the allstar game…
Those Bosox are my TEAM What are you claiming???
g’nite kirk
The A’s are AL, the SF Giants are NL…!
So how do I get a kewl f (for facebook) in front of my name so folks will know how undeniably handsome I am?
night Kirk dream well and snuggle with your kitties…
thought provoking post by Michael Scheuer over at Antiwar.com.
http://www.antiwar.com/scheuer/?articleid=13139
that website has been antiwar since before it was a useful (D) party wedge issue, and will be antiwar after the (D) party takes full ownership and responsibility for occupying the middle east and doing the bidding of our fiestiest little client state.
go to your profile and there is a place for the url
Best wishes with your evaluation and with everything else, nahant
I will try to keep the Diggs Dugg while you’re gone
Heh, I’ll share…! Btw, I need to start cooking my much delayed Eggplant Parmesan… Delayed by 6 extra innings…! ;-)
If you have a facebook account just copy the URL of your Facebook profile to your profile here at the Lake where it says FaceBook… save and it will show up here in the thread next to you screen name…
I am growing and can’t wait to be making eggplant Parmesan…. Do you make your own sauce???
hmmm, eggplant. I’ve never met an eggplant I liked, haven’t met very many. Maybe just haven’t met anyone who knew how to cook one right.
Forgot EGGPLANT…
‘night, Dr. Murphy.
Sorry sporkovat, the dems want us out, the pentagon wants us out and Bush(Ma)liki wants us out of Iraq. That is the trifecta against the Bush/Cheney/McCain doctrine of the hundred year war. All eyes turn to Pakistan/Afghanistan now.
congrats marymcc
Most liver transplant programs require 6 months of signed papers from AA to stay on the list. Just a basic requirement for AA attendance to be on the list. I have signed a lot of those papers in Akron for the Cleveland Clinis listings.
Lots of us (all, I suspect) will be there in spirit — July 31…….trying not to get in the way of the vibe!
Yeah, J.D. Drew won M.V.P. honors!
Done right it is heaven.. my sweetie wouldn’t let me make it for years… she finally gave in and she is the one who said lets grow eggplant after I made it for her of course I also made a very nice vegetarian tomato sauce for it…… you can guess why..
hey robin.. thanks – and welcome – not recognizing your name.
what else should we know about while rooting for nahant?
i’m a grownup and i don’t have to eat eggplant if i don’t want to
I’m so glad to hear that, Loo Hoo. Not so much around here, but so glad you get that support. And, indeed, the kids are adorable and sprightly. I am certainly no foe of immigration and I would work to incorporate those who are here, but I do think employers create lower wages by hiring folks who have no power.
Thanks Robin but not all of them do and welcomed to the Lake.. are you on the west coast??
Okay, I got my facebook url, but I don’t know where to paste it at fdl.
Liver transplants are ruled different, in that most, not all but a good percentage are in fact alcohol related. So they just require a non use pledge and attendance to so many AA meetings per week or month with a paper to be signed by the group secretary.
look up top in the toolbox for the link
even the smaller percentage who are not alcohol related?
up in the Tool box at the right is the link to your profile, click on it then scroll down to where you can past in your FaceBook URL and then save the changes…
Was in Akron Ohio for 20 years, got sober there 19 years ago. Am now in Cape Coral Florida.
My understanding is the number of liver transplants related to hepatitis-C is skyrocketing…I wonder if they still have to take that pledge.
Dang that should be paste in your URL “preview is my friend “
Yes, whether related or not. Two very close friends wen that route.
Your up Late :>) Welcomed to the Lake it is a very nice place to be with friends of like mind..
Hi Robin, a sublime pleasure to meet another FL ‘pup…I’m just south of Tampa.
Also have one friend, 20 years sober, had Hep 3 show up 3 years ago after being clean all those years.
Test.
I have Cancer not related to alcohol… I think it was Carbon tetrachloride exposure had my hands in that crap for years when working on copiers for Xerox…;
Am usually a lurker cuz most of the class here are so far above my feeble pea brain status.
Tis working just fine…
it worked ofg
i used to think that.. and look at me now (grinning)
Thanks for the help. On my ‘puter, the toolbox filename was “admin” nothing about profiles or such. got ‘er done!
{{{nahant}}}
All my best wishes!
I was in the boatbuilding industry for a lot of years, and I shudder to think of what’s going to show up from my exposure to all of that stuff.
Eggplant is yummy…and you can fry it up and freeze for later. My sister’s Italian plumber on Cape Cod gave me his recipe. So easy and good: slice and let drain on paper towels; salt/pepper and then dip in mixed egg and then in flour; fry til brown ( a few minutes on each side); drain. Stack and freeze if not using immediately. I couldn’t imagine that the stack wouldn’t gum up, but it didn’t. Thaw and separate; heat with marinara and cheese. Brings back the freshness of summer even in winter.
Congratulations on your new face, OFG! *g*
ewww all the stuff we had up to our earballs in before it all became unhealthy for us, or rather before they HAD to let us know it was.
mmm sounds good
Mmmmmmm….eggplant.
(copy/paste)
Thanks for the recipe, Dearie!
You would be surprised at how stupid some of us are. Join in. Not to worry.
ice cream sounds better
i’m working on my carton of b&j’s vanilla caramel fudge
BTW-can’t believe I forgot-congratulations, MaryMcc!
Two things I do not eat–egg plant and okra. I’m afraid I might have to give up my southern credentials.
Glenzilla has a couple of updates to today’s posting:
But Obama wasn’t a ranking member of those committees. Did he sell his soul to get the support of complicit party leaders?
gotta do a doctor in the early am so am off to nestle with my favorite red head.
Proof of the existence of evil.
Get scanned either CT or MRI… the VA kept looking at my liver every for 5 years until they decided it must be Cancer… very slow growing and has caused more tham one doctor to scratch their heads… had a Chemoembolization and then Docs said it wasn’t Cancer… had another CT scan in May and after much consultation they again say Cancer… Going with the program and will see WTF on the 31st…
Thanks RonD.
Thanks everyone. It has meant a lot to me to have the support of the pups.
ohmystars – jon stewart just ripped wolfie blitzer
g’nite robin a
‘goodnight, Robin. Again, welcome to the Lake.
Just do like me. One time, I had an idea, but it died of loneliness. Since I found fdl, if I gets me an idea, I hurredly shares it so the good folks can dump a big steaming pile of fertilizer on it.
Good night everyone. I have to go watch jon stewart. Suz says.
It is good try using Italian bread crumbs and garlic powder mixed in the bread crumbs… use your favorite sauce and you have a great meal…
OMG!!! Fried okra is the best! For a time, it was the only green vegetable my kids would eat. I just rinse it and dip in salted/peppered flour and fry. It’s divine!
g’nite mary mcc
fried okra makes me think of fried baloney and fried lettuce.
Best…thanks for all the diggs.
How can you have gumbo without okra?? Unless you can get any:>)
Your wisdom sustains me! ‘:)
Why didn’t I think of fried lettuce???? My kids could have been multivegetational!
yes, but the fertilizer is politely dumped, by very caring people…*g*
Thanks Loo Hoo and the Digging helps the Lake … least I can do for the place I enjoy so much and get to talk about all kinds of subjects and have a lot of fun:>)
Very caring liberal people!
Progressive Liberal people who answer the call to action when needed. They also care very much for our country and environment… all good things..
wow-whats on my mind is I’m going to grassroots in just 2 days!!!!!!!!!!
a lovely, wonderful, special, festival.
grassroots music festival or the netroots nation convention in austin?
I think of fried snot rolled in stickers.
A moralistic story to close my night with the pups.
A non-conformist sparrow tarried too long for winter. His flight south found his wings covered in ice as he plunged into a barnyard.
He crash landed behind a cow, who was in the process of elimination, and quickly, our non-conformist sparrow began to thaw.
Pleased and rapidly warming the sparrow began to sing, drawing the attention of the barnyard cat who quickly discovered the sparrow and greedily ate him.
There are three morals to this story:
First, not all those who shit on you are your enemy.
Second, not all those who take the shit off of you are your friend.
Third, and perhaps most importantly, if you are warm and happy in a pile of shit, keep your mouth shut.
Goodnight pups.
g’nite ofg
Indeed. When I found this place … lo those many years ago….I couldn’t belive my good fortune.
Obama is to take a phrase from our military, ‘A Party of One’ there’s him and then all the….
…..little people.
You readin’ this? You be a little people.
Doan worry once he gets elected it will all be clarified….
…FOR you. No thinking required just…..
….DO AS YOU ARE TOLD.
The Lobby has a lot of eyes and arms pointed toward Iran, as well.
Grassroots as in the utube above…..
http://www.grassrootsfest.org/festival/
this is like my 16-17th year attending….
Point taken…. ;)~ (no, I don’t know what that means, but I see it used and it seems pertinent.) Sleep well, OFG.
fdl is a very special place. i’m thankful i found it back when it was just jane writing her blog. has certainly helped keep me sane
Good one… I think I heard that one a long time ago..
Good night OFG!!
sweet. is why i was asking. this week is also netroots nation.
were you at this show? i was turned onto this band during late nite (or perhaps it was late late nite) one night – but i can’t remember who it was.
Hiya, pups! Home from teaching night school in Alaska in the summer, which is weird. Still light. Gonna be until August 4 or 5.
An explanation is due on shucking the Ed*ard Teller nom de blog:
I’ve been posting here and a couple of other places as Ed*ard Teller since 2005. But I’m responsible for a series of posts here that involve a candidate in the 2008 election – Sen. Ted Stevens. Not only am I an officer in the Alaska Democratic Party (Mat-Su Area Secretary & District 13 Secretary), but I’ve known Ted Stevens since 1973. It only seemed right to post under my real name.
You can still call me Ed*ard Teller or ET if you wish. I kinda like it.
‘Night, Oilfieldguy. Wisdom is where you find it.
hey et
your poetry contest started off with a bang. some excellent entrants and it is only day 1
Per the proponents of realpolitik, “Nations have no permanent friends and no permanent enemies. Only permanent interests.” But these same hard-headed foreign policy wonks seems to make an exception for Israel. Hmmmmmmm.
Thanks! I haven’t read through the comments/poems yet – morning!
I’m thinking of pointing out Stevens’ incredibly bad role in creating the “Enron Loophole” tomorrow. It has cost Americans hundreds and hundreds of billions. And now he’s blaming it on the Democrats, claiming if we re-elect him, he’ll fix the problem
theyhe created.Hey I have been meaning why you had chose Edward Teller in the first place???
Yeah…… I was a lurker from the git-go. Dipping in and out as I worked. When I recently retired, I just jumped in — dived, perhaps….but not with the amazing dives you used to describe! I love your dives! So graceful.
Suzanne,
Is ET’s Tuesday night thread going to be kept open for the duration of the contest, or is he going to have a new thread each night where the contest will continue?
aw thanks dearie. i’m hoping to be able to resume diving soon – i’m pretty drained lately but hope now that i’m moving foward and no longer living a life on hold for a year and half, i’ll be in the mood again.
each thread is open for 24 hours here at the lake. it is my understand, and perhaps et is best to answer this, that there will be a series of posts on the contest this week in the evenings.
fork.. it is my understandING
Suz it one of those nights for me also… the mind goes faster than the fingers can keep up and in the rush to hit submit… ya miss the obvious mistake or two or three…
not good… from MSNBC breaking: BREAKING NEWS: Two Israeli soldiers being swapped by Hezbollah are dead, reports say
i do, however, always see them as soon as i press the submit comment button
just the headline – no story yet
and from the NY Times
thanks nahant
The best part is that I’m sure the regulars ’see’ exactly what you mean anyway. I don’t correct minor typos anymore…. I trust that folks ‘get’ it. And especially when the thoughts are flying, a minor typo here or there isn’t troubling.
per the NYTimes, its not fresh killings..
We’re currently using that time period for the contest. Readers will then vote – I think over the weekend for finalists from a selection. I’m going to be asking Ted Stevens’ Anchorage office tomorrow if they want to help judging the finalists. I’ve got some other help up here on the judging phase.
ET
Hezbollah are real bad characters… I don’t think Israel should negotiate with them..JMO
I hope you make his opponent’s campaign the same offer, but without the irony…
I look forward to seeing the fruits of this project!
Goodnight, folks
Suze, did the house close?
g’nite neuro
Night Neuro… hope your finger is healing…. and don’t forget to DIGG:>)
Story here.
Looks like the Alaska fishers and others will have to wait another 19 years, eh?
fuckers…. there is a special place in hell for every one of the bastards
Yep, that’s what ya get when Senators Lieberman, Obama, Schumer and the rest of the ‘Gang’ get together……
…the shaft.
Sadly, Hezbollah is the de facto government of large parts of Lebanon. There won’t be any peace without talking to them.
“Jaw jaw, jaw, is better than war, war, war.”-Winston Churchhill
what Suz said… the fucking rich think they can do whatever and never have to pay for the fuckups…. assfuckingwipes!!
Jason Riley on Steven Colbert talking “Let Them In” regarding immigration…….Dr. Kirk, I’m trying to learn! Oh, he just said, let them come in legally. I don’t think that is radical. Says 12 million plus illegal immigrants (I’ve heard as high as 20 mil.) Riley doesn’t believe in minimum wage, however. Free marketist. “You want businesses looking for cheap labor.” Dud. Nothing new here. Move along………
LOL.
and thank you for all you are doing to help rid the senate of the odious stevens.
No doubt Ted Stevens is working on a statement in support of the fishers right now:
STOP WHINING!
– Ted Stevens
We will do our best.
I know but they don’t keep their word… Not sure what to do for an answer but these people are very arrogant and those people will keep pushing and pushing until they can kill you…
Hi, Selise!
PS; I donated to Begich. Was that a good thing?
hey selise
like that quote. always jaw jaw.
is hezbollah any worse than most other states or pseudo states?
They never want to pay a LIVING WAGE…. people are just things to them..to be used and thrown away when they are done with them… again ASSFUCKINGWIPES!!
(((nahant)))
And Jason Riley is another cheerful black guy. Does he not ‘get’ who is suffering on the first run of the proverbial ladder? I guess not…..or he just doesn’t really give a damn. I get weary.
hey nahant, ms won’t let me use onecare anymore – keeps bringing up the pay page now :(
This is my question. I don’t think Hiezbollah is any more lethal than Mossad, or the Israeli covert-action apparatus, backed by the Israeli Air Force.
I liked the questions you asked Sen. Levin this morn, selise! Too bad he didn’t answer ‘em…!
Thanks for the hugs (((Selise)))… they are always appreciated…. Old saying ” you can’t give a hug without getting a hug” Works every time and I come from along line of huggers… my kids all are also and the grand kids to!! I just love it…
What???? let me check it out BRB they might have changed something ..
I haven’t donated to Mark Begich, but my wife has. She’d say “Good for you!” She’s on a week-long hike in bear country to get away from Alaska politics. She’s safer where she is…
I’m a member of a board created by Ray Metcalfe, Mark’s Democratic Party primary opponent in next month’s election. But I feel that Mark is far, far, far better than Ted Stevens. And Ray, my good friend, can’t possibly get more than 20% of the vote in his primary contest. I know every friggin’ person in our upcoming election. As big as Alaska is, it is only the biggest small town in the world.
try this link: http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm tis the free scanner
will have to check it in ie. on ff right now.. i’ll be right back and let ya know nahant
Or the covert-action networks of at least thirty other states and organizations. All at war, all the time, but out of sight, with no accountability and no official recognition ever of the role of intelligence agencies, and their own unique foreign and business policies. It’s why so much of our history (and news) doesn’t make sense, at least on the surface.
I am pretty sure it works best with IE or maybe only with it…
Nope it opens just fine with FF3
Or msn…! ;-)
Hezbollah can’t come close to the lethality of the IDF. (But you knew that.)
i still get the service agreement
Thanks ET. Your contest is brilliant – creative and entertaining.
Hmmmmmmm…..
That’s not what it looked like the last time the IDF had to conduct military operations in Lebanon. I’d say IDF staff are plenty worried.
At least they should be.
Heh…
Standard contract for using the FREE scanner… I believe they use the same one if you buy the full product… I can’t recommend it as so far I haven’t checked to see if that product comes with my subscription I have with Technet plus… will check that one out… be back………
hey! suz, do you have a closing or something happening? fingers crossed.
RonD @ 202 – maybe even less so? @ 209 – yup.
CTuttle @ 203 – thanks, i don’t mind that levin didn’t answer (although that would have been great). i’ve come to think that the benefit of these guest visits is that they are our chance to let them (levin, wexler, reid…) know what we care about and are thinking.
nahant @ 204 – sound like you taught your children well.
Hezbollah seems to be on the verge of dominating what could be a very modern democratic pluralistic nation, namely Lebanon.
escrow is estimated to close around 8/6 or so… then i have 5 days after close before i need to be vacated
They’d do a better job than the current regime…! ;-)
so how was dinner?
The better half enjoyed it, my monsters, err… kids snubbed it…!
In terms of “lethality,” the IDF did a lot more damage and killed a lot more people, both military and civilian. But, I agree taht, in terms of dominating the battlefield, Hezbollah showed itself able to bog the IDF down and inflict more casualties than the Israelis were willing to accept.
Suz my subscription doesn’t seem to cover Live onecare… but there is still the Free online version. the full version comes with a firewall and more…but dam I was hoping I could get a free copy to evaluate… will keep looking in the morning..
lol. i think the results would have been a bit different if hezbollah had invaded israel, instead of the other way around.
wigwam @ 220 – more please?
suz – sounds good!
……
p.s. just checked hugh’s list (after more recent update) and he only has a couple thousand more words before he crosses the 100,000 word threshold.
Fading fast, now. Raining again. 19 inches in the last two weeks. The world is soggy, foggy, damp, and musty. Humidity, stuck in your throat. You never get used to it. 82 degrees, as I write this, and the frogs and crickets are raising hell, even as the rain falls.
Good night, all. The best of all possible tomorrows to you all.
gee, i wonder why
thanks dood.. shoot me off an email when ya figure out what the problem is
I find it deplorable that they used the cluster munitions in densely populated areas…!
ok, pups, i’ve got boxes to pack. i’m still weeding through clothes – separating out what gets donated and what gets packed and what goes with me. its almost as bad as shopping. blergh.
but the good news is that when i get the closets done, then i can move onto the kitchen. oh joy (major eye rolling)
have i mentioned that i forking h-a-t-e moving? g’nite all
Well, I’m calling it a night! I bid ya’ll a fond adieu! Aloha Oe!!!
Which is great, by the way. When I left Ohio, I had to be out of the house before the closing. I’d sold everything I could … as well as my car. I was boarding a train at 1 a.m. from Cincinnati’s lovely train station and heading west, via Chicago — another previous home base. If anything had gone wrong at the closing I would have been — well, you know. No job, no car, no home, no way! Sometimes things just break right. Hope that happens for you, too. The train ride was fabulous. Left me, sadly, with inner ear twichies for 3 weeks after disembarking at my final destination by the sea in south California. The defense always has the upper hand but most military commenters I read were taken aback at how decisively the IDF got beat when they attempted to impose their control over areas of Lebanon.
Do not make the classic human mistake of thinking that since such and such was true yesterday that it will be tru tomorrow.
