I have subscribed to The New Yorker for years and have always loved it. Since I started reading blogs *ahem* I haven’t found as much time to read it, but have usually managed to see some of every issue. I have always felt comfortable with their politics.

I am cancelling my subscription and telling them why. I can’t just brush it off as satire that goes over the heads of right wingers. I think it will cause real damage.

But, hell, I’m a lawyer and try to follow the rule of law. I’d like to find a way to bring workers into the citizenry so that no one could disparage them That’s just me. Make your own choices.

newtonusr, I wanted to tell you I downloaded firefox 3 and YouTubes play so much better now. The new address bar is weird. I haven’t spent anytime surfing other parts of the web on it. But one quick use of the FF bookmarks sure made me miss them upon returning to safari.

I like safari’s vivid graphics to read many sites with, but, I much prefer FF for posting to my site and doing my research for it…! Safari does not provide the same ease of jumping from tab to tab…

LOL - its possible she brought us dinner but unlikely. She clearly loves to torture mrbrat and remind him of her hunting prowess regardless of when we have dinner. My son rescued her from a local punk band house who “rescued” her from the SPCA. He dropped by to tell them his band had a gig in Austin and noticed they had just shaved her lovely long tail and she was flipped out. He tucked her in his jacket and she has been with us ever since. Ironically, Suz and I are fairly convinced she is the sister of her cat. Both were rescued & came from the same animal shelter at the same time frame and could be twins. ;~)

Gotta watch out for those twins, though. I’m the pinko-commie-liberal and my twin brother is the neocon. How in the hell did that happen???
