‘Obama the Flip-flopinest’ by Patrick Buchanana….Man I am sooooooo damn glad we got’s a candidate whom the tired, past-it likes of Buchanan can write slashing to the bone effective OpEd’s just hammering Obama. Great….

‘Obama the guy who just wants to get elected’ another Op Ed on the same page. ‘Obama tries to ‘Clarify his position on withdrawal from Iraq…’. There was much mention of the Rev. Wright, ‘under the bus…’ and many other phrases heard at this very site. This in that hot-bed of the ‘liberal left’ home of Miss Nancy and other ‘lefties’ in that town’s paper of record.

And yeah, I know the Chronicle sucks far better than most here. Doesn’t change my point which I’m trying to get over with some sarcasm for those who might miss it.

I remain relieved that ‘we’ selected a candidate of such a solid resume that there is nothing to worry about.

While the gops are looking south, McCain’s ass is getting kicked in the hood.

Obama leads McCain 60 percent to 23 percent among Latino voters, according to a Latino Decisions Poll. The survey result is similar to that of a Gallup poll earlier this month that showed Obama leading McCain 62 percent to 29 percent.

Success in America is determined by employment, access to capital,and a generous and appropriate credit line.

The same can be accomplished in Mexico, but Mexico is still a “cash and carry” economy. And until we recognize this reality, we will not be helping the people in Mexico, but we will continue to support and supplant America’s oligarchy operating in Mexico. To wit, the Oligarchy in Mexico is not Mexico’s but America’s.

Yeah, after I wrote that, I was thinking that the most important factor other than investment (and one of the biggest differences from Eastern Europe) would be decent labor laws, but until we can get those here, I don’t have great hope we can get our government to encourage them elsewhere.

But I’d still put that in the category of “won’t happen politically” rather than “can’t work economically.” Even so, I’d rather be outflanking with ideas that could actually work if they were implemented rather than having a rearguard argument on their terms between options that aren’t going to work.
