now, personally, I have no problem exploiting new areas to refine

IF they deplete the existing licenses, and even then, they don’t get to mine where ever they want just because it saves them a few bucks, they mine where WE want

the price of oil is not based on how much it costs to produce, it’s based on the market and that’s it

if the industry does not want to exploit their existing licenses they can sell those licenses to companies that will

contrary to common belief, oil refined in america is not the industry’s oil it is yours and mine, it is a national asset which they lease the right to sell

the REAL solution is to STOP allowing these companies to take OUR stuff and offer it to the world to bid agains US

we need to get RID of that system, what is refined in the states STAYS in the states, they refine the product at a SET profit, if they don’t like that profit, THOUGH CRAP, we’ll lease the rights to that free money to a company who DOES like the profit

we pool OUR stuff just like we pool our water, we purchase from the market what our own supply doesn’t meet

the cost to the consumer will be based on the mean price, that which we produced ourselves averaged against that which we bought on the market

the only problem with petroleum supplies right now is the fact that we infaded Iraq, Iraq had federalized their oil resouces and when they needed to fund a project they would sell more oil.

the industry CAN’T STAND federalized petroleum and THAT is the real reason we went to war in Iraq, to give that control back to “privitization”

Donkey’s ears ago (translation: decades), I was jolted awake to find the bed shaking like the proverbial leaf. First thought, “There may be a storm but ain’t no such thing as earthquakes in WNC!” After waking enough to get up and turn on the light, there was this 70 lb dog who had tried to crawl under a loooooow bed frame. His head and body were visible but the whole hip section was wedged tight and the hind legs were working as hard as possible to get him loose….. I literally had to lift the bed in order to set him free.

Thankee for bringing back that memory and hope you find a solution to the problem next year.
