I know that three had already been adjudicated and proved not guilty over a year ago, perhaps as much as two years ago, and were still returned to their cells and chained to the floor of their cells (you would have thought that we’d have at least had the decency to give them better accommodations and no longer chain them to their cells. We could have at least tried to make innocent people more comfortable and supply them with a way to contact their loved ones!) But ultimately I thought they found at least the first three a country that would take them. I also have questions about how or if they get reunited with their families.
