It’s the oldest trick in the book to use martyrdom as a mechanism for bellicosity; so let’s say it again: he has been consistently incorrect about the War in Iraq, has no working knowledge of the various players in the middle East, has no plan for withdrawl, no definition of victory, no plan for either paying for the adventure there, nor a plan for restoring our military readiness there. Again and again the left should demand that he explain to the American people his willingness to put the cost of the war on the backs of our children and grandchildren while pushing to privilege the upper classes with continuing Bush taxcuts and to put our soldiers in excessive danger for having no viable plan for increasing troop readiness.
