Mccain: Well, I would think that the absolute gravest threat is the struggle that we’re in against Islamic extremism, which can affect, if they prevail, our very existence.

McCain is right. Just not in the way he intends. Our gravest threat is the way we’re conducting the struggle we’re in against Islamic extrmism. We, or rather the Bush-Cheney cabal, are our own worst enemy. Until we change that, we’ll continue doubling down on the strategic disaster that began with the invasion of Iraq.
