Things are moving quickly. We’ve now taken in over $115,000 in less than two days (for a grand total of over $195,000) to fight the FISA battle. Glenn has a post up outlining some of the stuff we’re doing, but suffice to say that there is much going on and you’ll be hearing more soon.

I called and did the thing with a very nice phone person who said she hopes OB leads the way too in opposing this, and that she would be disappointed and surprised if he did not as he has already come out strongly against teleco immunity.
At the very least, I said, we cannot legislate — as we did after watergate and the intell abuses of Nixon — if we dont know what Bushco did and this will shut the door on the truth.

I think this is a great idea – to let everyone vote. Makes for a lighter day than yesterday and today may get fairly heavy, too, if they vote on telecom.
