Edwina Froehlich, one of seven Chicago women who started La Leche League in 1956 to support others interested in breast-feeding, died June 8 at a hospital in Arlington Heights, Ill., of complications from a stroke suffered two weeks earlier. She was 93.

How’s your morning so far? I’ve been out watering the yard and other little chores, in between reading news, listening to CSPan and checking the comments here.
I know you listen to CSpan a lot too. Did you hear Susan say, boy I’m getting a lot of criticism this morning? Seen a lot of that here this am too. I like to watch the patterns of reactions. Try to get a beat on where people are at.

Actually, I think “no bid contracts” are the goal of the BushCo industry, along with drowning government in a bathtub. Obviously, they have succeeded in exporting both of these to Iraq.

and was just telling a friend how George Clooney dropped 20 feet in my eyes when I found out he publicly sent flowers. I thought he was on our side.

RussertPalooza was easily the most incredible tribute to a fucking absolutely mediocre journalist whose major achievement in life was admitting that everything was off the record unless he was forced to paraphrase and put that on the record. Oh, and writing softball questions with no follow up for any repubican who ever appeared on Press the Meet.

Men and women who dedicate their lives to being actual journalists ought to be insulted by RussertPalooza.
