Gang, I’m a firm believer in “know thy enemy” — and frankly, the flyer above is so near to parody I just thought it had to be seen to be believed. I’ve gotten in trouble for posting racist Klan material before too. But I think it’s important for people to see what the hell I’m talking about, especially some of the vile racist shit.

David is a terrific writer and thoughtful journalist. I’m sure he meant no harm. We kind of expect him to return and address the issue in the future.

onnnnn the other hand, there’s a different situation in every place you look. The birds follow specific flyways to a large degree; depending on where you are talking about, the situation could be totally different, including the level of danger.

I’m glad to hear of ongoing research.
