Stop the racist crap–or at least stop it from coming to you by picking out a key segment of this posting, put it in an email with a link to this post and send it to whoever sent you the slime email. Use the subject header: racist anti-Obama emails are lies. Suggest he “send it back” to whoever he got the slime email from.

Oh, and a link to the Why I’m Voting Republican at youtube would be good, too.

david, we’ve gotten that obama racist email forwarded on from my f-i-l. sigh … he doesn’t even realize how he’s being used… b5 responded to the whole list, pointed ‘em at snopes where the email is debunked, and actually got a number of thanks back from folks. like sd sez, ya gotta respond one by one, especially when it’s coming from a friend or family member.

that talk he gave to chicago staff is really pretty impressive. we were talking about it at home and really liking how it showed what real transparency could do. he certainly knew that talk would get out, but he was also just speaking to the people there in front of him. pretty cool.

and LS, we died laughing at that “why I’m voting republican” piece the other night when a friend forwarded it. “cause I don’t deserve healthcare”. too funny …

Beyond his years, and in the same sphere as Bubba - only time will tell whether he has that kind of charisma - personal magnetism off the charts.

I keep meeting people who have met Obama, and they describe him in the same realm. But I think he’s actually a more patient man.

One problem with some of those emails is they come with a “THIS HAS BEEN CONFIRMED BY SNOPES” message as an attempt to inoculate the sender. Of course, as you note, Snopes has done no such thing but we also have to make sure and inform the low info types of this fact.

It’s called ‘experience’. While HRC touted her time being married to POTUS as part of her experience, everyone in the MSM discounted Obama’s years of community organizing. Plus, he’s been through the campaigns for State Senate, and US Senate, where by all accounts he started out as the total underdog every time and then won.
