Not just the White-Hood but the White House?

Scott McClellan writes about the “permanent campaign” in his book– is there any reason to suppose that this attitude as stopped?

As it has become increasingly likely that the Democratic Candidate for president would win, is the White House gaming things to (insofar as possible) set up the Democratic president to fail, thus insuring a speedy return of Republican rule?

In fact, are they still yet holding cards close to their vests to play in November and December to sabotage the next president? Of course, they would try to disguise their intentions. I’m even wondering that if McCain’s candidacy collapses before November, they might even move up their “November surprise” to October or even September?

I’m just remembering that when Bill Clinton gave the Keynote address at the Democratic Convention in, what was it? 1988? It went on record as the most boring speech ever made at a Dem National Convention.

If Sibelius can’t be picked because she’s not Hillary Clinton, that’s rank sexism. She has 22 years of experience getting elected as a progressive Democrat in Kansas, turning reasonable GOPs into Democrats, and legislating good things in the face of some of the nation’s the worst conservative hate-mongering.

I think the Racist are lying after all sure they all say that Obama being President will help them but does anyone really think that they are going to vote for Obama?
I think they are looking for a potential bright side to offset the horrible news that Obama got more votes than John McCain in Southern states heck in some states he got more than the entire GOP field.
Which if you think about says something about how small the hate groups are getting.
Never mind how Obama did in Western States without a large African American Population.
The Racist have said this same thing when the Army was integrated, when African Americans got the right to vote, schools were integrated etc.
Funny thing living standards have gone down because white men keep voting for GOP Presidents who outsource jobs, destroy unions, get us into oil wars then stick the middle class with the bill.
The racists have bought into the scapegoat the rich have provided to keep the middle class divided. The racists have bought into the lies of the very people who keep them as slaves.

Spike Lee has explored the issue of racism among the African American community (lighter skinned blacks have greater prestige) in some of his films. This is particularly true in the Northeast. there is also some anthropological literature on the subject (including some by African Americans).
