“If the Obama campaign thinks they are going to intimidate Joe Lieberman with these sleazy tactics then they are sorely mistaken," the Lieberman aide says.
In an interview with the New York Observer, Joe denied that he was fueling the rumor that Obama was a Muslim. " “The one time that I confronted it, I was campaigning in Florida for Senator McCain," said Joe, who concluded, "[e]verything I knew said he was Christian."
How about the time he echoed the "Hamas supports Obama" smear on Fox News? And why didn't he sign the letter with other Jewish Senators condemning Muslim smears in January?
Joe knows what he's there for. To fuel the irrational, racist fears that Obama is a terrorist. The one thing you can say -- if Joe's bristling about "sleazy tactics," he knows from whence he speaks.

Obama had to keep the gloves “on” while battling Hillary; they’re coming off now and he knows time is short.
The “polls” keep saying McCain and Obama are tied, but no one says what the polling methodology is. If it’s phone polling then the numbers are meaningless. Most people under 30 do not have land lines according to the stats I read.
I am “blessed” with lots of Repubs in my circle and not one of them will be voting for McCain. Not one. And I am sure they are not just telling me that. Not one person I know trusts him. The ones I know are resigned to a Dem sweep.
And secretly they are probably hoping for it.
Oh and one more thing.
McCain received just 9.8 million votes in the primary. Clinton got 18M and Obama got 18M. And not one mention of those numbers in the MSM.
Oh, and I’m betting on a Ron Paul and Bob Barr insurgency in St. Paul.

McCain wants to find all the women voters who supported Clinton, does he?? Well he and his republican VP choices ignored those very women in his own home state as he and his little VP party icame to the very town where we’ve lost the most women doctors.
This state is in serious trouble with a Republican government and dysfunctional health care plan so dysfunctional we’ve lost over 30 doctors in the past two years, many of which were women physicians.
The Obama/Edwards health care plan should start right - here right now in Sedona, Arizona to launch the beginning of their joint campaign!
