It sounded much more populist to me, than prior speeches. Included subsedies to allow owners to maintain homes in mortgage crisis, thousand dollar tax reduction for middle class citizens, universal medical care program (with Elizabeth Edwards to work on development), and others. He ended by indicating that we needed to try until we find what works, and it may take more than the adminstration(s) of one president.
