No but feel free I’m sure though that he has people he trusts who read the Lake though if they like my idea they can tell him. Although John McCain is looking to boost his green cred driving around in an American made Super Green Car might help him so Obama better move fast.
Nothing scares the GOP like Al does I was at the Huffpost when news came early in the morning that Al had won an Academy award or was it the Nobel Prize?
Anyway the trolls came with pages and pages of crap it was like they were all on speed dial I have never seen anything like it.
Well to be honest the day Karl Rove resigned that did get us a lot of comments:)

Al Gore had this brilliant idea to get all the car companies together including Toyota, Honda etc and have them work together to build car with better MPG (miles per gallon). The big three American car makers insisted that no foreigners be allowed then they strung Gore around and did nothing.
Toyota and Honda however thought Al Gore and the big three car makers were serious so they made hybrid cars. Talk about getting hoisted by your own <strike>petard </strike> stupidity.
Imagine what kind of MPG we could get if Al tried again?
It is possible after all at least one of the big three and possibly all of them will soon need a government bailout.
So if they need tax payer cash then Obama will have a say in how they run things.
First thing he should do fire all top management. Second hire someone else people who want to go green, third give Al the Call!

I hope Aptera goes public with a stock offering this is the kind of company I would be proud to own and I think could make more money than Google world wide. However the morons at WallStreet will ignore it, the Bush oil family will try and kill it but on the plus side I am sure China is looking into this and if we do nothing they will build it..
But of course then we America then would not get the full benefit of all the jobs making these 3 wheel cars.
We had the lead in Solar and Wind Power thanks to President Carter and Reagan shut it all down. Now everybody is beating us in green power.
I don’t count on there being second chances but hey if a second chance comes along WE NEED TO GRAB IT!

All Electric
This drive option will be the first Aptera to go into production late in 2008. It is powered by an electric drive train and will get you around town to the tune of up to 120 miles depending on your driving conditions. At night you simply plug the Aptera into any standard 110 volt outlet and in just a few hours you will have a fully charged vehicle and the best part of all? You’ll never have to stop at another gas station! The approximate cost of this option will be $27,000.

Plug-In Electric Hybrid
This option will not be available until early in 2010. It is powered by an electric drive train as well, but is assisted by a fuel efficient gasoline powered generator which continually recharges your batteries stretching your range significantly. In typical driving you may achieve the equivalent of 300 miles per gallon and you will have range far beyond any passenger vehicle available today. The approximate cost of this option will be $30,000.

https://aptera.com/reserve.php

My bold $27,000 and $30,000 who says America can’t build a green car better than anything the Japanese are making for a profit! Just imagine the cost savings if this were mass produced!
Where is Obama he needs to start driving one!

With the All Electric Aptera, it is very easy to figure out the mileage range. The mileage is determined by the distance you can drive, under normal circumstances, until the batteries are effectively drained. In the case of the first Aptera typ-1e, we have calculated the range to be about 120miles.

An asymptotic decaying exponential is an accurate way to describe the fuel mileage of the Typ-1h. For example driving say, 50 miles, one might calculate a MPG number that’s 2 or 3 times higher, say, 1000 MPG. As battery energy is depleted, the frequency of the engine duty cycle is increased. More fuel is used. at 75 miles, the MPG might be closer to 400 MPG. Again, we’re using battery energy mostly, but turning the engine on more and more. Just over 100 miles we’re just over 300 MPG, and just beyond 120 miles, we’re around 300 MPG.

http://www.aptera.com/details.php

Gas is at $4 a gallon headed to $5 a gallon and all the Hedge fund managers and WallStreet Financial types who love to buy companies are not talking to Aptera? They should be offering them billions the American car companies should be buying these guys out.
Nobody better tell me that America can’t make money on green cars! Nobody better say we can’t compete!
However would the Big Three Car makers or WallStreet know a good idea if it smacked them…No sadly no! Arggggh!

The GOP will play into Union fears during the coming election that higher environmental standards will cost them jobs. We need to spread the idea that in a world of $4 a gallon gas it would be better if the big three made green cars rather than Japan.
After all the last time there was an oil crisis and the big three car makers ignored it just how many jobs did they lose?
We need to link the 70’s oil crisis and economic meltdown to what is happening today. We need to link what Bush is doing about this down turn and high oil prices to what caused oil prices to rise in the 70’s. Then we link McCain to Bush.
