Well, I’m still not going to apologize for jumping all over Hillary Clinton last night. She’s a devious woman and the fact she wants to meet with Obama personally makes me think someone had better frisk her real good before letting her into the room! Jees. She is EXACTLY the kind of person I do not want running this nation. Same goes for Johnny McTeleprompter. These two are on the same page no matter how hard they try to say they’re not. Both would love to be opposite of each other because they can coddle each other, whereas, Obama makes them have to defend their positions which makes them very uneasy!

Don’t be surprised if Hillary shows up at the convention in Colorado asking for a Citizen’s Arrest of Barack Obama because she feels her nomination was stolen from her! Trust me on this. She will do anything to protect her record, her husband’s record, George Bush, and George H.W. Bush. They’re family and just like the Mafia…..THEY WILL GO TO GREAT LENGTHS TO PROTECT EACH OTHER!

I think the Hillary supporters who will be voting for John McTeleprompter should switch to the republic party, because thanks to Barack Obama we don’t need them in the Democratic party, because everyday there are more people becoming Democrats JUST TO SUPPORT HIM! And I know this…

….because last night I did some phonebanking with my local Democrats. Our goal last night was to reach out to Unaffiliated voters to see where they are right now in their decision making. Well, Barack Obama came up a lot and a couple men told me they had been lifelong republicans and have FINALLY HAD IT with their party. They’re supporting Barack and have switched to the Democratic Party! Loooooooooooooooooving it.

Thank you Barack Obama! You’ve energized our country in a POSITIVE DIRECTION and we are all looking forward to taking the ride with you!

Although I really am trying to be off to bed, I wrote the following comment at the treehouse, and decided to post it here too, in case anybody is confused by Hillary Clinton’s claim to have won “The” popular vote.

————–

let me just say for the record (vis a vis Hillbuzz) that there is no such thing as “The” popular vote, anymore than there is such a thing as Karl Rove’s “The” math.

Each state has its own delegate selection rules, approved (except in Florida and Michigan) by the DNC.

Some of those rules provide for primary elections, which must also be provided for by state law and are financed by the taxpayers.

Other states use alternative means, such as caucuses and conventions, to select their delegates to teh Democratic National Convention. By their very nature, these states produce a much lower “voting” turnout than primary states, as it requires a much stronger commitment to spend 3 to 4 hours or more at a caucus or a convention than it does to drop by a polling place and check off a ballot.

Thus the number of people who show up at caucuses or conventions tends to be much lower than the number that tend to show up for primary elections.

Thus caucus or convention participation numbers bear no real relationship to primary election voter turnout numbers. They are like apples and oranges. Or, perhaps, like pennies and quarters.

So there is no comprehensive national primary vote, or “popular vote.” There is a combination of turnout numbers from over 50 primary elections, caucuses or conventions, which are not fungible.

The “popular” vote that Hillary Clinton continues to cite does not exist. It is a myth. She knows that. Her campaign staff knows that. And the media, which facilitate her bogus “popular vote” claims, know that.

It is The Big Lie.

The nomination will be based on votes at the national convention by delegates. Some of those delegates will have been selected by state-by-state primary “popular” votes, others selected by other means.

Some, the superdelegates, have a vote at the convention by virtue of the position they hold as an elected official or as a Democratic Party official. They are selected by a wide variety of means.

For example, Hillary Clinton’s bogus “popular vote” does not include the hundreds of thousands of votes that elected a member of Congress, making him or her a superdelegate with the vote at the convention, perhaps a superdelegate who will choose to vote for Barack Obama.

“The” popular vote is a Hillary Clinton myth.

I saw that with Ickes whining about 4 delegates. All I know is I’d feel a lot more comfortable if he surpassed the 2209 number, even if he had to poach another 10 of her delegates to do it. It’s not stealing if they go with him willingly.

I saw where Jimmy Carter declared for Obama, but has anyone heard who else? Is there a published list somewhere? I wanted to know if Gore declared today, or Pelosi or Reid?

It just amazes me to watch the art of politics being played so poorly. Supers are going to be pressured to leave Clinton long after it is even necessary. My 2300 number was conservative; 2500 is possible.
