However, if they overplay their hand and it begins to look like they are attempting to force her onto the ticket then she will lose far more than the VP slot. Watching the Clinton campaign tonight trying to elbow their way into the headlines for tomorrow does not give me much confidence that they know the value of having a light touch. I also saw Stephanie Tubb Jones on TV talking about how Bush has messed the country up so much that there is enough work for two people (referring to Clinton and Obama). Maybe I’m just overly sensitive but her words came across to me as a description of a co-presidency.
