It’s one thing to be a party member and an outsider, it’s another entirely to run as a Green or a Libertarian or an Independent and have a chance of getting elected. And once elected, the Democrats and Republicans will assuredly launch a bipartisan effort to make sure that one is never re-elected, that every bit of dirt is discovered and exposed before the next election cycle.
