The main reason I have NOT suggested that HRC should bow out, is that by staying in until the bitter end, all the rest of us may watch her reveal herself … Some may consider my perspective to be callous or even unfeeling, but time (and its attendant ‘exposure’) has that affect upon ALL of us …

In HRC’s case (which is a operant reality for all of us to consider, as well), she has become her own worst enemy. I admit that Bill has been trying, also, but clearly, HRC has lost any considered sensibilities she might once have possessed. It would be sad were it not so tragic for the nation and our society, society being simply how individual people treat other individual people, that whatever potential for genuine leadership she might once have been able to offer is lost in her increasingly apparent confusion and disregard of consequence.

As Bobby G. has said, she is rendering herself quite unfit for almost any position of genuine authority or terrible power.

I had once felt, not too long a time ago, in spite of years of substantial disgust with both she and Bill that I might, somehow, by holding my nose and closing my thought process down to its most meager operational level, be able to vote for HRC were she to become the nominee.

No longer, she has long since lost me, and the blatant inability to grasp what she has done, and perhaps, inadvertantly unleashed (shades of Huckabee) now convinces me that under no circumstance shall I vote for her.

Unlike an apparently significant number of her ‘followers’, however, I shall not vote for McCain.

I will not entrust the future or my children’s lives, through my vote, which constitutes much of the limited ‘power’ that I, as a citizen, possess, to either John McCain or Hillary Clinton.

I had not intended to share this, preferring instead, to keep this resolve to myself.

But, Hillary must know that she has, increasingly, moved beyond the pale.

I am quite certain that she does not care. She may rest assured that her carelessness is broadcast quite plainly.

And, despite what her defenders may claim, she has done this to herself.

Repellent revulsion is the closest label I can muster for what I’m feeling right now.

I’m in a combination of horror and disbelief. Bobby was a hero of mine.

With emphasis on currently… there are other elections ahead.

Her willful disavowel of understanding why people want her to drop out in light of this comment that was so totally, absolutely wrong is breathtaking.

This is right in there with macaca moment, Dukakis moment….

It’s been many years since I visited Mesa, but it didn’t seem very difficult to me to track down one building full of fatcats on any given evening. Getting the new location should be doable.

“My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right?” Clinton said. “We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. I don’t understand it.”

The second sentence was entirely unnecessary to make the general point for staying in (i.e., that races historically have gone on through June sometimes).

It was either [1] a dog whistle, or [2] evidence of incendiary poor judgment unbefitting a President.

“Hardworking White Americans” could not have been either than [1], Sorry. This remark?
