The May 27th Phoenix McCain with Bush fund raiser had to be moved at the direction of the secret service due to the planned huge Anti-war protest at the time of the event….. currently it will be moved to an undisclosed location in Mesa AZ…..

The Anti-war community prevented McCain to hold a fund raiser in his own home town….. in his own home state….. get this picture….. the raging grannies have McBush and Bush on the run…

Jeff Farias the talk show host on KPHX was telling us the whole story…. they have been announcing the protest for weeks…..The members of AZPeace.org were notified today by the secret service that the even was canceled ….. then we found out through “friends” that it was moved to Mesa….

It did that yesterday afternoon/evening…. my pool is right up to the top tile ….. they say that we got 1 inch rain and it would whip up off and on today….

Excuse me for real lack of clarity, the disappointment lies in the lack of taking a stance one or the other on Clinton’s tactics. As a long-time reader and admirer, I cannot understand the timidity in this arena.

I’m cooking, may style (outdoors with charcoal). Went to Costco today, got rib eyes, two slabs of spare ribs, eight pounds of chicken thigh meat, two pounds of shrimp, two pounds of scallops, four pounds of hamburger and a gallon of Bone-Suckin’ barbecue sauce.

I love summer cooking. Got beans ‘n’ greens to have with the ribs, plus ‘tater salad. Cornbread is made, beer is in the fridge, plus a big ol’ bottle of tanqueray and a smaller bottle of Courvosier.

Gonna have a BIG TIME this weekend. :-D

No one else is cooking this weekend? :-(

All you gotta have is a charcoal grill (for the steaks and seafood) and a smoker (for the ribs). Small investment.

Cooking like that is very good for the soul. No, I am no vegetarian. :-D
