What we Vietnam vets know and what this film explains to others who don’t understand is that this fascist administration is killin’ the traditions of military service in the United states, dismantling the publically owned military, privatising all military functions right down ta the fuckin mess hall fer Christ’s sake, destroyin’ the State militia and makin’ scared and confused troopers into executioners for a genocidal fascist imperialist politics.

There is no more discussion…there is only action that includes treason and war crimes trials right here in the USofA.

If yer a religious person, pray that God will forgive us what we have done to the world…I don’t think there is redemption for us old folks who have let this happen over and over again but maybe we ken save our children on our way out.

Abu Ghraib is all about the blame game. M.P.’s blaming M.I. M.I. blaming the civilian contractors. And everyone blaming the “bad apples.” Harman didn’t murder al-Jamadi. She provides evidence of a crime, evidence that this was no heart attack victim. She took photographs to show that “the military is nothing but lies.” At the very least, to show that she had been lied to by her commanding officer. It is now our job to make sure that her photographs are used to prosecute the people truly responsible for al-Jamadi’s death.

Committee Holds Hearing on EPA’s New Ozone Standards

The hearing will examine the new ozone national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS) and the process the Environmental Protection Agency used in setting them.

On March 12, 2008, EPA Administrator Stephen L. Johnson finalized updated NAAQS for ozone, a primary component of smog. The new ozone NAAQS are comprised of a revised primary standard to protect health and a revised secondary standard to protect the environment. In setting both standards, EPA Administrator Johnson did not accept the recommendations provided to him by EPA’s independent scientific review committee, the Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee (CASAC). With regard to the secondary standard, Administrator Johnson’s efforts to set a new standard were overruled by the White House.

In light of new information obtained by the Committee, questions are also expected regarding the White House’s role in EPA’s action to block California’s program to regulate greenhouse gases from automobiles.
