Good question. This is a very very tough place to live. But I think the people of NOLA are some of the strongest folks on Earth. They’re incredibly inspiring and they make NOLA a very vital place to be.

Ethan, what keeps you going in NOLA? My medic friends who moved to NOLA after Katrina to start the Common Ground clinic talk about hard it can be to keep there hopes up. AS you work on these bleak topics, where do you find hope?
