EPU’d…to Gnome. No, it’s in a fairly small pot. I think it must be some kind of miniature variety. It’s very healthy though, but it never flowers. I feed it a tiny bit of miracle grow everytime I water it.

A friend gave me a nightblooming cirrus. It’s going gangbusters…maybe it will bloom someday. Oh, and those passion vines that I rooted, they finally took off and are growing outside…yay.

Maybe you can come by my place some day and find yours among my collection and figure out what it is. It may be very young. They often don’t bloom for years.

It’s a fabulous flower.. M Aunt had one for 17 years before it finally bloomed.. We stayed up most of that night watching the blooms… Flying squirrels were drawn to them too.

Thank goodness this can’t be OT. With the californis Supremes decision about gay marriage, I am wondering if the current crop of legal gay marriages have managed to do better than the hetero’s 50% divorce rate.( By doing better, I mean have a lower incidence.) Wouldn’t that be a wonderful riposte to the “Ruining Marriage” attack. It seems that there is enough of a universe of marriages out there by now to study. Are there any stats out there?

NDFG - check the traffic going through Austin before you guys head out. They have the southbound side closed down between Austin and Buda while they work on the bridges for the new toll road this weekend. I had to take a back roads detour to get home tonight. I don’t know if the northbound lanes are affected or if it is just southbound.

As a ramblin man that has walked on the wild side, I DO know what a waltzing matilda is, but alas, most do not. They don’t even use them anymore.

There are some very scenic ways around and some not so scenic. I can point you to either if you need them.

no kidding. that’s why they’ve fired up the “national security” engine already…
