Hail Muse Suz! Hey all! Man was it hot in Oakland today. After a couple hours of 98+ degree heat, the pine tree next door started making all these little little tiny creaking, popping sounds all over. We think the pine cones were opening up from the heat, like during a forest fire.

Speaking of here: Hail California Supreme Court! I guess we really have to get the frickin’ vote out in November now to avoid the homophobe State Constitution amendment, but that seems like an OK tradeoff…

Firefox should run fine on your PC b ut if it is not very fast or not much Ram and a full disk … All will slow you down… Try Opera or Safari… You never know

Taking the bus home from the job tonight and there were huge crowds out in the “Lavender Heights” district of Sacto celebrating…and across the street were some fundy’s holding up a long shiny “Sodomites” banner. The Republicans will definitely try and make this an issue in the Fall elections, EVERYWHERE. Hopefully Obama’s appeal to young people and the ones who see this as a distraction and diversion to the real problems in the country will be out in greater numbers.
