Lieberf*ck was on CNN with Wolfie this morning, and althoughI usually listen to his latest McCain-praising, Dem-Bashing BS and curse at the screen, I finally had had enough, and hit my remote….

There’s nothing that gets the ProgBlogs rabid then some story on his latest treachery…I wish the Dem’s would just cut him loose, kick him off all the committees, and let the cards fall where they may.

You are funny. But I don’t think they do all that. I wished they did. I am a mom and I am cooking today. Can you believe. And doing chores. LOL

That may be it although it was a privately held place when I was there. I think the owner sold out after one of his staff got stupid a few years ago and got hisself killed.

Interesting that you should mention that part of New York - that IS where Laura Ingalls Wilder’s father was from, Cuba, New York. And, if you have ever read any of her books - I think this story was in the first book, Little House in the Big Woods - her father tells the story about how he and his cousin went into the woods to bring back the family’s pigs one night(they would have been grazing on the mast on the forest floor)and were chased home by what they referred to as a ‘panther’ - a big, black cat - which they found out was killed several days later.

Yep, and he’s got a good opponent, Eric Massa, who is running against him. Not my district - I’m next door, but that district borders on the Allegheny National Forest - they will have black bear as well already there.

Take a look at NY-29 Randy Kuhl(E) district, I think it is bigger than Rhode Island, and very rural, plenty of room there for big cats.

Well, that plus the fact that, ahem, the ‘buffet’ is there; we have a huge deer population. Up in the Adirondacks, the ‘manitoba wolf’(a large coyote, really)has come down from Canada and is doing their part to put the populations back into balance since we don’t have nearly the hunting we used to. Now, you will really hear alot of noise if the wildlife starts to go back into New Jersey, where they have an even worse deer population issue.

They’re adapting to their environment. I think it’s wonderful. Now if the goddamned egocentric humans would leave them alone.

Believe it or not, I have heard rumors of big cats coming back to New York - last time Upstate had big cats was, I think, in the time of Laura Ingals Wilder’s father — early 1800s.
